Hi ryan if i were to get started on shore jigging what size reel is okay to begin with? i have myself a Twinpower XD 3000XG and maybe looking forward to pair it with a Apia Grandage 862MH
you can use that but i would say its abit small and balance will be difficult on the 8ft6MH. maybe something bigger like say a 4k size reel. and depends on where you fish at also. if the terrain is bad, a bigger reel for thicker lines is important

or maybe the likes of the Nasci FC 4000 series
