So glad to have found your channel. I've always wanted to visit Japan. Love thrifting so these videos are great to get an idea for it. Much love from the UK ❤
Thank you so much for watching and for your encouraging comment Charlotte! Ooooh I miss car boot sales and charity shops in the UK. Hope you find some great scores this weekend!😍💕
Hi Sue! Absolutely! Such a lovely feeling when the buyer's united with something they've really wanted to have!😍Oh yes, the tigers...now regretting not getting one😂
Lovely finds. Thanks for sharing. Found my first Kokeshi doll at one of my favorite flea markets here in NYC. She’s a “Sayonara” Kokeshi with a scroll that culminates in a pretty swirl of fabric that wraps as if she’s wearing a kimono. I love her but you’d be shocked to learn that I had to pay $15 US. Worth every penny to me as they’re not quite as common here as they are in Tokyo. Could it be the start of a collection? Yes, indeed!
Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment Nancy! Your kokeshi sounds beautiful. Actually that's a pretty good price for a kokeshi so don't feel bad! Usually they are closer to that price (second-hand) in vintage stores here too. The flea markets and some of the thrift stores have the super good deals!😊Love that you're starting a collection🎶
This chain has realy amaizing offers. I found the store in Minami-Funabashi near the end of my stay in Japan, and there was no room in the suitcases for some treasures. Next time.
Yes the Minami-Funabashi BO Super Bazaar is the largest one in Chiba prefecture! The one I go to most often is the largest in Kanagawa prefecture😊Thank you for watching and for your comment!🎶
Thank you so much for watching and for your lovely comment! So happy to hear you're enjoying the items in the videos🥰Hope to be able to set up an online store in the next few months😊
Thank you so much for watching and for your comment! How interesting you have/had something similar over in the US. I think this one could be Seto-ware, maybe iron glaze (tetsu-yu)...but don't quote me on that as I'm not 100% sure😄Will take a look at Albany Slip😊✨
Thank you for your videos. I love thrifting but never have the time to roam around leisurely, let alone when I’m on a holiday in Asia. So I live vicariously through these.
Aw thank you so much for watching Michelle (we share the same name😊) and for your lovely comment. Hope there'll be more items of interest for you to "window shop" via the screen in future videos too!
Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment Mary!✨Do make sure you Google Bookoff SUPER BAZAAR "List of Stores" beforehand to see what size it is. Some are smaller and don't have homeware, but the website will show icons of what each branch holds😊
Right? I go to other BOOKOFF Super Bazaars but the pricing in this branch is always better! Will be posting videos on other branches in the near future😊
I found my Kokeshi doll at a garage sale for $2.00. The man that sold it to me didn't know what it was. Mine is a tall male with a disapproving look! Lol
Thank you so much for watching and your kind comment! Bought an annual subscription to Uppbeat so all the music is from there. The track is lovely isn't it! The artist is Justin Lee and the song name "In Your Light". If you go onto Uppbeat, you can listen to his other music on there as well as download up to 3 tracks for free😊
Just found your channel & im already obsessed! 🥰

Isn't it lovely when you sell something to someone who has been looking for just that thing and is sooo happy! Also, those tigers!!!

Try saving up your old underwear and old clothes for travel. Then you can throw them out and have plenty suitcase space. 🤗
@@happycook6737 It was a time when I had to pack five years of my life in those suitcases.
Love your videos! Can't wait to see if you open an online store, I would definitely buy from you!!

@@tokyotique Thanks for the tip. Hopefully I can hit the big open markets too since I am very interested in fabrics and textiles.
So happy to have another video to watch! Your manicure looks very nice (and I’m glad you decided not to wear your watch too)!
Aw thank you so much Meg!😊Oh! Must have been so keen to head out and thrift I forgot my watch😂
