@MikeKantorskiTech I can confirm the conquest offer is stackable with the $7500 lease incentive. The lease conquest $3500 was taken off my r1t tri motor from 102 down to 98 and change
They need to get to r2, and especially r3, out a hell of a lot faster than they are and in profitible way. Lucid's Saudi owners aren't going to continue to burn billions forever, so they aren't going to be around much longer and Rivian isn't far behind if they don't figure it out fast. If they don't, perhaps parts will live on in part if Volkswagen buys the tech parts of the company.
Hello, Mike. Thank you for the great videos you make. You mentioned software. I'm kinda in the IT sector. Can you make a video about the software experience with Rivian's cars? Or maybe a comparison with Tesla's (who are the benchmarkt at this point, as I understand it).
Amazon and VW are strong plusses for Rivian and Musk will benefit from Rivians charging at Tesla stations. It will survive either as a separate company of a subsidiary of bigger one.
I did watch, he’s very biased toward Tesla but has some good points. I feel both vehicles are very different, one functions better for certain people and the other for another type of person. Both are amazing products
@@MikeKantorskiTech I agree, but they are just not well positioned to continue the massive capital needed to get to the time when they can become cash positive. It is a true bummer. I have wanted to buy a vehicle, but concern for long term and short term service has held me back. I love the brand and the concept. Let's hope for the best.
Sad, Rivian is burning through cash far too quickly without a path to profitability. I give Rivian about a year. Maybe two years thanks to VW’s cash infusion. Still it won’t last long enough to make it to the needed R2 mass production. If anything VW may acquire them and roll them into Scout. But I doubt VW would want to take on that much debt for a software company (which is all they need from Rivian). I wanted it to succeed but cancelled my R2 reservation as I don’t think they’ll be around to support my purchase.
Rivian is sadly doomed now that Elon will be part of the government. It was also stupid for them to remove the color options from their best selling version of the RS1. My neighbor just bought a brand new R1S and the dashboard was separated from the wood trim by like 2 inches, the glue wasn’t holding it together.
Why is that? I would think Elon would do everything to keep anything EV related alive and well. He always welcomed EV competition and made things public domain any other company would never do.
Rivian is not comparable to Tesla. Rivian is in the unenviable position of losing over $100k per vehicle. Versus Tesla, which never sold vehicles at negative gross margins and turned gaap profitable relatively quickly, especially with the help of selling BEV tax credits. Rivian is literally losing money even before factoring in the costs of running the company, e.g., salaries, marketing and warranty coverage. Imagine hiring a sales force to sell lemonade. But the ingredients alone cost more than what the lemonade sells for. That's Rivian. Rivian is led by a smooth talker who is not competent in making cars. Tesla is led by Elon Musk, one of the greatest visionaries of all time. In summary, between Rivian's inept leadership and recurring billion-$$ quarterly losses is why Rivian goes bankrupt
this. somebody tells it as it is! I have friends high up in Rivian and they hate it and they know it's going to fail very soon. They are sad but just like you said, they're all led by this wanna be trendy smooth talker that can't make a car to save his life. the design is beautiful except for the headlights, but the company is f*ked. sorry to say.
I’m contemplating upgrading to a Rivian from a Tesla. Good to know about the potential Tesla trade in rebate.
It looks like this could be stackable with one of the other incentives, and the additional use of referral code sooo it could be an amazing deal!
Traded our 2018 Model 3+Range Rover for an R1S and could not be happier. If you can afford it, do it.
@ab185 happy to hear that!

@RouterRelated glad to confirm!
I reserved my R2. I want to see Rivian succeed
Sounds like a lot of people did!

Yes, I’m sure they feel the same way! I know they have a lot riding on the new vehicles

I’d love to! I’ll add it to my video list :)
Great update 👍
Thank you!

It’s a great benefit for Rivian to have these two working with them. It’s also nice to know more potential partners next year
Thank you for the detailed info!
You’re welcome! I hope it was useful!
I’m a fan of Rivian and don’t mind your shilling - but an objective video about the impact Scout might have on Rivian would be interesting
I might save it for when we get closer to scout release, or when we know more about how the joint venture with VW actually will work
Q4 will be their biggest quarter since their inception... guaranteed.
Was hoping to hear more about the R2. 😭
Good to see the new battery cells being used in R2. Hopefully we will continue to learn more as we get closer to 2026
See Everyday Chris" video on his Rivian. He compares his Tesla CT to the Rivian. Let's just say he's most likely ditching the Rivian.
I did watch, he’s very biased toward Tesla but has some good points. I feel both vehicles are very different, one functions better for certain people and the other for another type of person. Both are amazing products
Yes they will. Or be acquired
Imagine putting in all the work, build an amazing product, build an amazing community, and then just sell out to a company that will destroy it all

Time will tell, I’m confident R2 will be their Model 3 moment. If not then that’s not good!
@@MikeKantorskiTech I agree. The challenge is surviving that long and the R2 making profit. Otherwise it’ll sink the ship faster.
Vw might just eat rivian if it gets too cheap because their tech is vital for them for all cars going forward
It seems like they need Rivian badly.
What about selling in Europe?
R2 will be the first model to see a full release in Europe!

Elon Musk is not going to be able to target the EV competition, the real competition is ICE and Hybrids
It is sad but a way to get people to sell more. I'd hope Elon wants competition, I know I do so we see further advancements in technology
rivian is doomed on its own
@aeromtb2468 it’s okay to start off with some help :)
No ev company built super charge station for their clients except tesla and would let everyone share their?? And talk shit about elon gtfo
Rivian is building their own fast charging network and should be opening it up to other EVs soon. Tesla can co-exist with other EVs.
No
I like your confidence
@MikeKantorskiTech Nissan is up next. Then Ford
Rivian looks great, They just need to delete that headlight design, a simple light bar would look more aggressive.
At this point, it's too much of a signature look for them. If it doesn't have those lights, it's not a Rivian.
It is "iconic", once they are more well known maybe they will make slow changes to it over time.
Those light are awesome and critical to branding.
@paulkaiser8834 yes brand awareness is crucial
The baymax lights are why I got the r1t... and will be picking up a r1s in 2 weeks

You musk dick suckers are pathetic. Seriously, do the world a favor and get off it.
