    I will have to say your video is the first video I’ve seen out of many that makes the most sense! Thank you so much for finally sharing this video and getting rid of my headache of a weeklong trying to figure out how to plumb this damn thing. Your video is the best!

      Wow thanks. Yea. I was confused by other vids so I made this one.

    Thank you very much for your video! I've been so worried about installing this equipment by myself; now I'm not as nervous.

      It’s not too bad. You can do it. Most important is to have all the parts. Everyone is worried about the cutting part. I think we overthink it because it’s probably the easiest part!

    Thanks for the video and the explanation of all the parts.

    I have a 24x54 did the same but got rid of all the fex hose and used PVC

    • @Kazerone1

      Yes I know some people do use regular PVC. I thought about it and if the hoses fail I might go that route.

    I just don't understand why you are saving the other inlets. Why not just block one or both of them off?

    • @Kazerone1

      Well I kinda explained. It doesn’t really hurt to have them if you can close them off. Also I believe the older inlets that are more under the water could be good for cloudy water.

      @@Kazerone1 this is absolutely correct, a skimmer would work 5 times SLOWER at keeping water clear that might end up getting algae then inlets lower in the water. And of course 2 is better than 1. This is the reason inground pools have floor drains. I mean, why not have more options, why limit yourself?

      @@mmafighter1181989 It was a fair question, but I agree with you.

      @@Kazerone1 You are right! Skimmer 'skims' surface bugs, pollen floating matter. The outlets allow the sand filter to pull in cloudy/particles deeper in the water. You really need both for a crystal clear pool

    That pump is two weeks for regular automatic pool cleaners on Mac pool cleaners at least needs a 14 inch or 16 inch

    • @Kazerone1

      Yes. The pump isn’t overly powerful. The pool included the robot and the pump and so far it delivers enough power for it to climb the walls. But I know what you mean.

    The adaptor has an o-ring , the threads don’t need Teflon tape .

    • @Kazerone1

      Yes. They don’t but I’ve had these parts leak because of probably less than perfect manufacturing.

    That pool pump uses less energy, your pool pumps, energy efficient, but she works well

    • @Kazerone1

      Yea I probably uses less but it’s not as powerful either.

    I accidentally bought the ECOPOOLTECH 1.25-1.50” adapter. Don’t make that mistake. The 1.5” threads were far too loose and leaked.

    • @Kazerone1

      So that one was no good? You can try a bit of Teflon tape and see if that helps.

      @@Kazerone1 so I bought the adapter you recommended, POOLCOMFT. The only difference is I’m using the Intex brand 1.5” plunger valve instead of the pool hacker plunger valve. Still doesn’t fit. You might want to notate that somewhere. I guess I will get the pool hacker plunger valve, but there should be no reason for me to do that since they’re both 1.5”
