    I know you create these videos because you genuinely love books, but these videos are little breaks from reality for a lot of us. Thank you Shawnaci for being so… you. Lol ❤️🫶🏾📚

    You are single handedly getting me into historical fiction!! I used to love history in school so it’s the perfect match!

    Whenever I am trying a new genre or author I always start it with an audiobook so that I can get the best understanding of it.

    Highly recommend By her own design by piper huguley for historical fiction. It’s about the dress maker Ann Lowe (black woman) who created the wedding dress for lady Kennedy (did not receive credit) and the dress in the movie Father of the Bride!

    I think naming your top 3 each month is great 👍
    My favorite read last month was "The Lost Love Songs of Boysie Singh." It's histotical fiction and based on a real person. I already know that it's one of my top 3 for this year.
    I also enjoyed (most of) "Open Water." I love when male novellists describe falling in love.

    The fire between high and lo is the first book I’ve read by B.C. absolutely loved it thanks for the introduction you should pick at least two books out of each genre from your stack
    I just finished reading The Banned bookshop of
    Maggie Banks I liked how in the story the love of books bought a community together it was written in a light way with a bit of romance(no smut) gave fall vibes 😊

    I loved this wrap up. I have a few for my TBR with this one. What about top two from each genre read. If you only read one you can just say not my favorite and maybe suggest one from that genre you read in previous months?

    After you mentioned The Four Winds I picked it up and read it in a weekend. I am not a literal fiction girlie... at all I don't think😂😂🤦🏽‍♀️ I'm thinking of trying Time's Undoing or The Personal Librarian. Which one do you suggest?

    • @ShawnaciSchroeder

      Waking up at 5am to read before work really helps!! But 20 books is incredible! Reading is reading no matter how much it is 🤍

    Since they are so similar, would you take the Parrish series over The Housemaid series? I have read all the books from The Housemaid series, but am intrigued to find out which is better.

    • @ShawnaciSchroeder
      @ShawnaciSchroeder  วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      If I had to pick one, I would say the Parrish series!! The housemaid series is one you can easily binge, but the parish series kept me on the edge of my seat more!!
