I know you create these videos because you genuinely love books, but these videos are little breaks from reality for a lot of us. Thank you Shawnaci for being so… you. Lol ❤️🫶🏾📚
This is the sweetest comment. Thank you so much. I love hanging out with you each week 🥹🥹
You are single handedly getting me into historical fiction!! I used to love history in school so it’s the perfect match!
You’re going to love it so much!!!
I appreciate your comprehensive reviews 😊. I'm going to read more B. Cherry and Personal Librarian this month.
Hope you enjoy 🥰🥰
Wow, you've had such a variety in reading different genres in September! I just bumped up The Fire Between High & Lo on my tbr because of your glowing review. I''m so excited to read it 💜
I loved it!! It felt like I was watching a lifetime movie! So fast paced too
I'm so glad you enjoyed Outdrawn! I read it because I saw you haul it and I absolutely love it 🥰
It was so cute!!
this gave a bit of hope for reckless ive been worried about that one! i'm just glad it's a bit shorter because i didn't feel like powerless needed to be that long lol things we never left behind is my favorite in the series too!! the first two books felt like the exact same thing to me 😭😭😭
Loved The Personal Librarian . Thanks for sharing
You’re welcome!
Whenever I am trying a new genre or author I always start it with an audiobook so that I can get the best understanding of it.

My favorite reads
Funny story by Emily Henry
The wild truth by carine mccandless memoir you might had heard of a movie or book called into the wild both based on her brother Christopher mccandless
City of dreams by don Winslow
Twisted lies by ana Huang
Not me watching this right after putting myself on a book buying ban LOL TᴖT
Highly recommend By her own design by piper huguley for historical fiction. It’s about the dress maker Ann Lowe (black woman) who created the wedding dress for lady Kennedy (did not receive credit) and the dress in the movie Father of the Bride!
I think naming your top 3 each month is great 👍
My favorite read last month was "The Lost Love Songs of Boysie Singh." It's histotical fiction and based on a real person. I already know that it's one of my top 3 for this year.
I also enjoyed (most of) "Open Water." I love when male novellists describe falling in love.
The fire between high and lo is the first book I’ve read by B.C. absolutely loved it thanks for the introduction you should pick at least two books out of each genre from your stack
I just finished reading The Banned bookshop of
Maggie Banks I liked how in the story the love of books bought a community together it was written in a light way with a bit of romance(no smut) gave fall vibes 😊
Oo thanks for recommending this! I haven’t read that book yet!
My favorite book this month was Long Shot. Girl that book took me through it! Definitely a 5-star read for me! I think sharing your top 3 favorite is a good idea. Or top 5. I know it can be hard to choose sometimes lol
I love love love Sunny Disposition by Deanna Grey. I'm reading Team Player this month.
Personal Librarian 💙 5 stars
I loved this wrap up. I have a few for my TBR with this one. What about top two from each genre read. If you only read one you can just say not my favorite and maybe suggest one from that genre you read in previous months?
Oo I love this idea!!
I NEED to hear your thoughts on “The Boyfriend”, NEW Book by Freida McFadden! 🎉 love your content always
20:38 😂
After you mentioned The Four Winds I picked it up and read it in a weekend. I am not a literal fiction girlie... at all I don't think😂😂🤦🏽♀️ I'm thinking of trying Time's Undoing or The Personal Librarian. Which one do you suggest?
I've only read 20 books so far this year😢, how do you do it?
Waking up at 5am to read before work really helps!! But 20 books is incredible! Reading is reading no matter how much it is 🤍
Since they are so similar, would you take the Parrish series over The Housemaid series? I have read all the books from The Housemaid series, but am intrigued to find out which is better.
If I had to pick one, I would say the Parrish series!! The housemaid series is one you can easily binge, but the parish series kept me on the edge of my seat more!!
❤❤
Hey from Alabama! Just love you but I have to insist you read Beverly Jenkins!!!!!!!!!!!!! My absolute FAVORITE!!! Writes the best historical fiction. You won't be sorry!!!
