    What a reference this film is.
    And I've participated in a large number of corporate ones, so I know a thing or two about how they should be... and should absolutely not !
    Superb work, bravo. 👏😮

    Dude, that was the most cinematic corporate video I've seen so far in YT. Amazing editing, direction and grading. Color is just perfect. Did you spent a lot of time in Resolve? Was it shot with log3?

    • @ignace_nl
      @ignace_nl  ปีที่แล้ว

      Bro thanks for the compliment, really appreciate it! Yes, it was all shot in S-Log3 and I do the color grading in FCPX :)

    Omg. How do you do so many projects in a short period of time .
    This is like a $50,000 project?

    • @ignace_nl
      @ignace_nl  ปีที่แล้ว

      I try to upload weekly, but they are all projects from the last 2 years. I can imagine the confusion, because making this much work in such a short time would be insane haha. I can’t name the amount, but unfortunately it was nowhere near 50K ;p

    Awesome. Do you use the actual workers in the videos or actors?

    • @ignace_nl
      @ignace_nl  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a great question! The representative, wive and kids are actors, but the rest are actual workers. We made that decision based on two main reasons. The first one is the ‘shelf life’ of the video. For example, if we used a real representative and after a year he quits his job and don’t wanted to associate his face with the company anymore, we have to take the video down. The second reason was scheduling. The real representatives couldn’t schedule 2 full days of filming in their already busy agendas. The scenes with the other workers took about 1 hour each, so it was way easier to manage that. However at 2:58 we created a cameo with Thomas, the set assistent, just for fun :P

    Hi @ignace_nl, I see you're using some Sony lenses now! Are you using AF at all, or only MF for your awesome work? Also, why do you use EF glass? Lens flare?

    • @ignace_nl
      @ignace_nl  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Renaissance Photo, I started out with a Canon 60D and later on a Canon 5D Mark III, so i already had a bunch of EF glasses. I recently purchased some Sony lenses, because of the great AF, but I only use them on my gimbal. I think the EF glasses do have a nicer bokeh.

    • @renaissancephoto
      @renaissancephoto ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ignace_nl Very nice. You won't get that awesome lens flare (ie th-cam.com/video/FEM2AUlLpZY/w-d-xo.html) from GM lenses.

    When you film indoors and you use your Aputure 300 for lighting, do you use ND filters?

    • @ignace_nl
      @ignace_nl  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, then I adjust the percentage of light coming from the Aputure 300D, so the brightness blends in well with the rest of the surroundings.

    • @Sjaubi-qf6wd
      @Sjaubi-qf6wd ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ignace_nl Do you over expose when filming? Then lower exposure in post?

    • @ignace_nl
      @ignace_nl  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Sjaubi-qf6wd Great question, but i expose everything correctly through the 'Gamma Disp. Assist' function. When it's overexposed, I'm not able to get the details back.

      I shoot all my project with the following settings: XAVC S 4K / 25P / 100M 4:2:0 8 bit / S-log 3 / S-Gamut3.Cine. I hope this helps!

    Im sorry but I died when the guy waved and didnt get a wave back 😭

    • @ignace_nl
      @ignace_nl  ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha it’s funny you mention that, because we wanted him to wave back, but he drove an electric step with fast speed, so he was not able to wave :P So we decided that he gives a nod (friendly shake with his head) to greet him.
