I just got my license last week and these are some of the videos I need to absorb like a sponge! I'm a Marine and also live by "slow is smooth and smooth is fast"
Congrats on getting your license. Thank you for your service. Welcome to our channel and remember the motorcycle journey is an everlasting learning process.
Well done, Rich. A lot of riders never practice slow speed maneuvers, and that's sad. I have seen so many people drop their bikes because they were going slow, and were unable to move their bike properly, or they have the front wheel turned and tap the front brake. Valuable information, sir.
Good morning Navy man. Slow and smooth, smooth is fast. I know it from the Air Force days. Definitely one of the #1 rules of riding. Isn't it funny how riding has many #1 rules😅😅
Thanks Paul. We will be home until mid-July. Not conducting any classes so I'll try to get in the lot at least once a week until we leave. Thanks for watching I always appreciate it.
Hey brother Rich, Man I'm learning so much from my Big Brother on how to ride and control my motorcycle. Thanks for your expertise. Glad you'll made it home safely.
Hey brother great stuff. You know I love parking lot drills. I to hit some of the cones on my practice and was beating my self up. I know your a better rider so now I don’t feel so bad. I have played with race cars and race Gokarts for years. Slow smooth is also fast in racing. Great video. Time for me to get my cones and Tennis balls out to a parking lot. Ride safe brother.
Yeah we had fun in the lot at Bike Week. Better we hit cones than curbs lol. I remember you talking about racing go-karts. We were trying to go to the largest go-kart track in LA, but something came up and we never made it. So I started watching videos of the serious racers. The karts were way faster than I thought. and there were some serious competitors.
@@BootsandJeansRiders yeah the Italian shifter Karts would easily do over 100 mph. The formula 1 guys train in the off seasons in them. Keep bringing the training videos Rich. It’s the fundamentals of motorcycling. Love it.
Great Video.👍 I'm back and practicing, It's feeling great! Getting ready for another trip Winging it this year! And Oh Yes.... I have to get your and Kake's Alaska patches to you!
I'm working with a local riding buddy. We're looking at the 5 passes area in July. A couple wives who teach are looking at summer Va-Ca. In the mean time I'm doing day rides to where ever the Wing takes me.
