Fortuner body roll is big problem in corners or steep curve but in skoda kodiaq it's ok. Kodiaq got 5 star in euro ncap and car sold in India is same as international model. It's imported as I know.
That body roll of fortuner is due to ladder frame body which has this downside but on the other hand same thing has the upside of being very rugged for rough terrain Also both fortuner and kodiaq are ckd units meaning both have their parts imported in india and then assembled , idk why but many believe fortuner is made here is india which is not true

We recently bought a Manual Fortuner (rare but my Dad and myself are MT enthusiasts). Man everytime we drive, it sure puts a smile on the face. Don’t buy this if you love features or if it wold be chauffer driven. Only buy if you love driving!
I took a test drive of the same 4*2 MT recently, I like AT but can't afford another 3L. Still have not taken a decision b'cos even after spending 46L on-road we still do not get atleast AT, is it really overprised? Why Fortuner is so pricy compared to other good performing Cars out there? Is it really worth the price?

They know it's tricky to get right in the first try and 2023 Honda City Hybrid with ADAS is probably the only one with consistent ADAS inside of it! Even Globster and XUV 700 fall short in comparison to it!
Fortuner's light throw is precise as well and it has a wide high beam throw while gloster's highbeam is not wide and the low beam of both side bulbs doesn't look connected

Kodiaq should also be in the fun to drive one because even though fortuner has the more powerful engine, Kodiaq offers the best performance. And also has tons of body roll.
I've been watching a lot of your videos. Your videos are long(20-30 mins) because they are detailed, but they can be shortened(8-10 mins) to attract more audience and give them more value for time. No one really decides to buy a car by judging whether it can carry 2 bottles or 3, or door thud, or music system. These are small factors and people can live with the shortcomings. When really someone decided to not buy a car because the headlight throw wasn't that great. At a given price range, you get an average value of a feature(e.g. throw) in that segment plus or minus something. That's okay, it's not a make or break deal. If you think people need this info may be cover them later in the extended part. Just cover the critical aspects that matter the most up front in your video e.g. service cost, maintenance cost, parts availability, engine quality, reliability, safety aspects, body roll, sale numbers (a car with a lot of buyers automatically gets a good support group), etc. You already cover driving experience, mileage (may be not important for a 50lakhs car buyer) etc. which is good. Just a suggestion.
fortuner is the best. pricey and low on features but everything you need everyday is present. our family only use this car to cruise on highways. we have taken this beast to 150-160. absolutely no problems.
Why did you ignore the price point. You can get a gloster in less price than a fortuner. And Toyota has no way to justify why it is taking 50-60 lakhs for such an old school vehicle. Honestly, I also like the exterior of the Fortuner, but you are not going to sit on the outside right? So you still have to look for a comfortable interior.
Well tbh Toyota’s not charging 50 lakhs for the vehicle. The govt takes around 18 lakhs of taxes else the car would have been only about 30-32 lakh ex showroom price
Was in this dilemma but going for kodiaq 😊. Fortuner interiors are poor with no moon roof which i love. Gloster gear box is pathetic. Kodiaq 0 to 100 in 7.8 secs makes this fastest among these 3!!! So agree with most folks here for showoff fortuner for the sheer performance and value luxury - kodiaq.
I am a Kodiaq L&K owner. fortuner is no match to the Kodiaq, let me say that why… I have owned and driven 2 generations of Scorpio and initially I was not confident about the ground clearance of Kodiaq, I got it clarified how Kodiaq handles off road conditions from Europe and Russian reviews in TH-cam. I took a test drive of Kodiaq on off road conditions in the outskirts of Bangalore. I found Kodiaq can handle the off road conditions without any issues same like my old Scorpios. Kodiaq has no body roll like you feel in the ladder on frame chassis and then I made up my mind to buy Kodiaq. Toyota on the other hand is not at all fair, look at the legender models in Cambodia, Thailand and Philippines there are different color options available, but in India it is only white, the grs model has nice alloy wheels in Philippines but in India grs the alloys looks very low end. Skoda offers the car models / versions same all over the world and does not differentiate in different countries, Skoda / VW R&D and built quality is not comparable to fortuner (eg., DSG Gear box, Canton audio system, DCC, large panoramic sun roof, luxurious seating, 7 coats of paint and many more to list). All 7 seats occupied and AC ON, Kodiaq gives me 12-13 kms per litre mileage on highway with XP95 petrol. Kodiaq is 900 times better than fortuner. Scorpio is far better and price worthy instead of over priced and not at all good fortuner, I felt it’s not worth paying ~54 lacs for the fortuner.
Sir Music test main kisi bhi track same 10-20 seconds ka ek hi Music byte reapet kiya karo so on different cars that we can feel the difference in better in Music quality in much more better way, thanks.
Rachit try karo ki hill climb review 5 to 6 people ke saath karo aur ek baar incline par stop karkar ye bhi btaya karo ki bina piche jae ya easily stop karne ke baad aram se climb karti hai because hilly area mai ye problem bhut jyada ati hai tab hi kisi bhi car ka real power aur ease of drive pta chalta hai, so next time try to do that
I drove a kodiaq which is faster family 7 seater crossover SUV car....yes its multipurpose car....its not SUV its crossover. I really like it very much. And mileage is around 7.5-8 as per owner.
After this video...i understand that for :--- Toyota :- for brand value and engine, torque, and Overrated car popularity. MG Gloster :- ADAS, new features, comfort. Next generation ability. Skoda Kodiaq :-only skoda users know this very well. premium experience. Very low maintenance. Accurate driving supporter and one of best for indian roads

Gloster has the most advanced features, a luxurious interior, and gives the best performance. Also, it's a very good option for off-roading.

Was in this dilemma but going for kodiaq 😊. Fortuner interiors are poor with no moon roof which i love. Gloster gear box is pathetic. Kodiaq 0 to 100 in 7.8 secs makes this fastest among these 3!!! So agree with most folks here for showoff fortuner for the sheer performance and value luxury - kodiaq.
There is no challenge for Skoda in performance
I want to buy suv . Should u Wait for new fortuner or buy current one. Please suggest
I am a Kodiaq L&K owner. fortuner is no match to the Kodiaq, let me say that why… I have owned and driven 2 generations of Scorpio and initially I was not confident about the ground clearance of Kodiaq, I got it clarified how Kodiaq handles off road conditions from Europe and Russian reviews in TH-cam. I took a test drive of Kodiaq on off road conditions in the outskirts of Bangalore. I found Kodiaq can handle the off road conditions without any issues same like my old Scorpios. Kodiaq has no body roll like you feel in the ladder on frame chassis and then I made up my mind to buy Kodiaq. Toyota on the other hand is not at all fair, look at the legender models in Cambodia, Thailand and Philippines there are different color options available, but in India it is only white, the grs model has nice alloy wheels in Philippines but in India grs the alloys looks very low end. Skoda offers the car models / versions same all over the world and does not differentiate in different countries, Skoda / VW R&D and built quality is not comparable to fortuner (eg., DSG Gear box, Canton audio system, DCC, large panoramic sun roof, luxurious seating, 7 coats of paint and many more to list). All 7 seats occupied and AC ON, Kodiaq gives me 12-13 kms per litre mileage on highway with XP95 petrol. Kodiaq is 900 times better than fortuner. Scorpio is far better and price worthy instead of over priced and not at all good fortuner, I felt it’s not worth paying ~54 lacs for the fortuner.

Rachit try karo ki hill climb review 5 to 6 people ke saath karo aur ek baar incline par stop karkar ye bhi btaya karo ki bina piche jae ya easily stop karne ke baad aram se climb karti hai because hilly area mai ye problem bhut jyada ati hai tab hi kisi bhi car ka real power aur ease of drive pta chalta hai, so next time try to do that

I drove a kodiaq which is faster family 7 seater crossover SUV car....yes its multipurpose car....its not SUV its crossover. I really like it very much. And mileage is around 7.5-8 as per owner.
