i just saw someone in my game kill like 5 bile spewers in a row with the laser cannon. he carried the game with it
how did he do that? after taking out the sacks (which you must do to get to the killable part) the bile titan just keeps chasing and there is not enough time to cook his back end.
@yeetmaster3360 Bile *spewers*, not Bile **titans**. Spewers are the bloated ones that waddle up on you, and Lasers have actually always been great for them...if you can hold on their heads.
But yeah, Titans are something the Lasers just can't deal with alone. Gotta rely on the team or Stratagems for those big boys.

@@DylanBFishkeeper Been a while since I played but unless they changed it another good spot to shoot is actually somewhat between the head and top of their back.

Idk what it is/was with that spot but it kills them quickly, its like its counted as a vulnerable location or at least not "durable" even though its causing their rear to explode. Maybe because you are shooting them through the armor instead of the side its not "durable"?
Worth a try at least if you happen to lug around a laser cannon(grenade pistol or whatever too).
We need a laser sentry turret to complete the set.
Lasts the full sentry duration but can overheat at the worst time? Yes please.
@@jimmythornseed8605no reason for a laser sentry to overheat. It could carry a massive heat sink like the automaton shredder tanks that allows it to fire indefinitely.
Loving the laser weapons so much now, now if only the plasma weapons would set things on fire like they should, they literally fire superheated bolt of ionized gas
And for the record, average high temp plasma (basicly what the stars are, 10^6 - 10^7 °C) can reach up 10000000 degree celsius
Finally, you tried out my new toys in the game with this update.
For anyone who wants to know, lasers are supposed to set enemies on fire, just like the Orbital Laser sets the ground on fire where it passes. There was a bug related to this, but it has finally been fixed in the latest patch.
I hope you can try my other "no ammo" loadout, the TESLA TROOPER - the blitzer+arc thrower combo, since they also fixed the arc thrower to be consistent and reliable now.
I been experiencing misfires quite a bit still in my end with good old ARC more so with close range or bushes

Ayy, that's my regular loadout! I go full laser mode most games cause I just love cycling through my weapons mid-fight so I can always laying down and drawing fire during engagements. If you're good with aim, you rack up a ton of kills, but you can also lay down suppressive fire to help your team clear things faster even if you can't aim to save your life. A quick sweep across a swarm with the lasers really can help your flamethrowers, arc-throwers, and machine gunners clear things that much faster.
Granted the lack of any stagger may make the suppression seem kind of lackluster visually (and mechanically, especially solo or vs bugs), but when all of the opposition are suddenly 1-taps for any weapon your team has? That's when laser's secret strength shows through.
Side note, Alpha Brood Commanders seem to be faster to aim for their legs with the lasers. I haven't been able to really test it, but its felt a lot faster to pick a side and fry those legs off than to pop the head.

Tried this build myself last night after watching this and wow. It's absolutely killer.
If you have good aim, you can kill hulks by shooting them in the eye.
look how slow it cools down. lol crazy how hot planets over heat the lasers but cold planets still over the lasers just as fast lol good content tho
It makes the cooldown slower tho

@@Stephenyahu holding down the trigger for the laser its the same as any temp, BUT THE COOLDOWN is faster or slower depending on the temperature of the planet. if you cant tell the difference yourself, then YOU are the problem
love the setup - what guns are you using?
It´s Scythe for Primary, Laser Dog-backpack and Lasercannon for Support. The Secondary is a Grenade Pistol

I love to use this build as well but the laser guard dog has a tendency to just shoot me from my back and instantly kill me💀😂
Really the only issue with this loadout is lack of stagger force which makes stalkers more of a pain
the big problem of the is build is that it's weak against chargers, using eagles to kill them it's not always ideal
Yeah, but you can take an orbital precision which is great against chargers, or put in an eagle rocket to crack open the armor for you so you can toast it yourself.
Man why do you guys keep judging thing solely on charger?
Use strategem like air strike or orbital, or have team mate deal with it

I think lasers were made with automatons in mind. You dont get the pleasure of a rifle feeding led to those poor bugs. Yes they are buffed and work great but with bot I think. But a great player like you will make any loadout work fine

I don't get why the surprises, lasers were never bad. The thing was that the incendiary was just too good to use anything else 😅
Nah, they have extremly low dps. the big one has about 450-500. Only useful for slowpokes. Their accuracy is nice against gunships, that's the one part they do well.
Well, with the additional dps from the fire they might do better, i would have to give them a try again.

They didn’t nerf the fire damage, they just made it NOT go through the entire hitbox so it doesn’t hit all the parts of an enemy

They were supposed to do it before the flame's were made more "realistic" but they didn't so AH fixed it
Laser weapons did not set enemies on fire before the patch. This was considered a bug, and was stealthily fixed.

its ok, the AC is better overall, damage, and utility. laser cannon just has infinite ammo, still takes a while to kill chargers with it, or even impalers. i just use stratagems for them
