Mike there is another law here in México but aplies in some states that if someone knows you are in a young adults party uninvited you can be fined above 100 dollars 😮. I don't know if this is true but in El Salvador if one is driving drunk the soldiers are allowed to shoot!!!
Hi Mike, Texas also has laws regulating the time you can buy alcohol. Monday through Saturday you can buy alcohol from 7:00 am until midnight. On Saturday you can buy alcohol until 1:00 am Sunday. On Sunday you can't buy alcohol until 12 noon. You can only get hard liquor at a liquor store. They are all closed on Sunday, and during the week, their hours are either 9:00 or 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. You can get drinks at a bar until 2:00 am.

I live in Maine, where tourism is a major industry, and as such, there are a lot of scenic laws. For example, billboards are illegal here (in fact, I thought they were an invention of TV as a young kid, until I traveled out of state and saw one for the first time) and the McDonald's in Freeport lost a case where it wanted to tear down a colonial mansion to build a restaurant, so now the store is *in* the house. Also, outdoor Christmas lights and decorations cannot be put up any sooner than a week before Thanksgiving (something Walmart tried to contest and failed) and must be down by January 15th, although how strongly that's imposed depends on how nice the neighborhood/town is (lower income neighborhoods with less aesthetically pleasing homes can sometimes get away with leaving their Christmas lights up all year, for example).
