My favourite song of all time. 34 years ago, as a 17 year old I watched Janes Addiction at the Birmingham Hummingbird in England. If I could turn back time to any moment in my life it would be this night.
One of the best albums ever made, and it has been on high rotation for me for 30 yrs (OMG) They deserve way more recognition. I saw them several times in the early 90"s in small venues, and again when they reunited briefly in the early 00's. I love them. I was always disappointed that radio played Jane Says and Been Caught Stealing, because those songs were not what Jane's Addiction was about. Intricate, masterfully written, unique, talented. Requires repeat listening to catch it all.

Gotta watch the live from Milan, Italy from 1990, absolutely amazing.
This song about Perry's and Dave's mothers. One was murdered and one committed suicide 💔
Their greatest song, imo
This Is The Real music!!
There is a live version of this from Milan Italy filmed in 1990. It is so haunting sounding and absolutely epic.

I like the break down Local on the Eights part of the song… but the guitar tone is amazing overall.
Insanely good music was everywhere back then. We had no idea how lucky we were when the late 80's early 90's shake-up was happening.
Their moody songs are my faves.
Lol, sophisticated.... yeah.
Depending what city they are playing in.... things can get ....interesting. :)
They are just older, but still Jane's.
8:45 - One thing I love about this tune is right here, it's like they smuggled in a bunch of Miles Davis Bitches Brew.
The story behind this song is extremely sad
you're lucky dude my man Travis, Susi Q gorgeous at it's finest
No rock is big enough to live under....
