The water lock is a common issue if digging holes down at a heave clay soil ground, plus if there is a lot rainfall at your area. A 1-feet wooden raised flower bed would be better, buy garden soil and compost in cubic yards if you have a pick-up. Love your videos and passion。

Thank you! And yes I totally agree. Now looking back on it, I really should’ve gone with a raised bed. I took the easy way out because digging was something I could readily do myself. With the winter we’ve had and about to be having, I realize I might lose these roses which cost the most out of all the flowers in these beds :(
Anyway, thank you for visiting my garden. Have a nice day 🌸🌿

Great job Lina. I just made small garden bed along my fence. It was easy . I put down cardboard within a week or two I can easily dig and plant flowers 🌸

Thank you 😊 Cardboards are a good idea!! I laid some down this year to help contain weeds in some parts of the yard. I wish I had known about this long ago though. Would’ve saved a bit of money.

Thanks! Lol I’m not better than anyone in that department. I buy before I think.

Your dogs are so good. They don't dig holes in your yard.

I am really lucky in that sense. My dogs are angels in the garden 😇☺️
