I once told a pilot that the flight was very boring. Her eyes lit up and she smiled and said thank you, glad you had a great flight. I responded with...Indeed.
What a beautiful video😍😍👍 the sound of those RB211s is brilliant. A monstrously powerful engine for the 757!!!. I would love to see some footage of some take offs and landings in Denver too👍 with some nice footage of the Rocky Mountains👍👍
@ 5:07 you can see the McChord air strip & @ 5:30, the airstrip @ Ft. Lewis. I was stationed @ Ft. Lewis 85-86, Mt. Rainer on some mornings seemed as if it were in your backyard. These days, Rainer, St. Helens, & Cascades are the only reasons I’d go there staying completely out of Seattle proper.
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! MAHALO FOR NOT THROWING MUSIC OVER THIS BEAUTIFUL SOUND!! I also spy some Hawaiian eyes in there too. Awesome awesome vid!! Mahalo for sharing, aloha nō 🤙🏽
So did they do their Down wind over Hayward and turn Base Leg North of the San Mateo Toll Bridge? That's what it looks like to me cause I didn't see the Salt Pans at the bottom of the Bay! Nice video 📸 Love those RB-211's! They growl in a nice way!
Most throttle changes should be fairly subtle. In jets like this, approaches are done on power settings. You basically try and set the power and adjust pitch to stay on Glide slope and maintain speed. Obviously there’s movement of the throttles. But it shouldn’t be drastic. Also, no way on a day that clear are the pilots not hand-flying. Pilots still love to fly. Most don’t love using autopilot right after takeoff or for landing. Hand-flying to altitude and hand-flying to land are still the most fun parts of flying.
Aw cool!!! I was just thinking about these videos and was hoping you'd post another one soon. Suddenly lo and behold, here's one now! Awesome! That mountain looks surreal. That was a really smooth landing too. Thanks, I needed that! 😃👍
Nice flight. I once flew from SFO to YVR, which has almost same nice views to the vulcanic chain. But great sound of the RR engines. Unfortunately here in Europe the 757 is almost gone.
Hi Max - could definitely cry foul if you keep heading for my favourite places when I am marooned at home (just kidding). Might be able to come back at you with an orange flavour in a couple of weeks :-) 🤞
Siamo a terra!
I noticed something’s off. Looking at records, it appears UA2336 on August 3 and UA2499 on August 4 both had N41140, and those are the flights in your description. However it’s clear you had different planes. The SFO-SEA plane had Rolls Royce logo on inside of left engine, the SEA-SFO plane did not. Second plane also had a scratch or ding on engine paint which the first didn’t have. I don’t think the flight numbers and date combinations are correct; there is no way that’s the same plane.
Ah sweet beautiful RB211’s never gets old!
agreed.

Now that's a butter landing!
I love your 757 videos... they're awesome... Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
The best takeoff video I've ever seen! Other than wow, what can really describe this? Beautiful!!
Fantastic video! Great lighting on the engine too. Gotta love RB211s

Thanks Lee! I’ll be uploading a 777 Denver departure shortly
I flew this route on August 4th 2021, it was amazing and the crew were amazing as well!
Dude I just subbed to you and you upload a really nice video right away 😂. I really do enjoy your content keep it up!
Gotta love the aviation community :)

Thanks Michael - I’ll keep it coming 🙏

I remember my trip to Seattle being overcast that whole week, but I finally go to see beautiful Mt. Rainier once out 737 broke through the clouds.

The roar of the 757-200 will remain in my heart for ever.

I dare say the landing in this video was an auto land, very smooth with very subtle throttle changes, very nice👍👍

So powerful! It was easily off the ground at 5000' and was seemingly at 1000' by the end of the runway.
This footage is FANTASTIC!!
Great flight, beautiful views!
Best one!!!
im sure united still have some 757-200 with pratt power still left in their fleet beside the rolls powered 757
So beautiful
Gorgeous thanks!

I flew a Condor 757-300 PMI-FRA yesterday. It's a rare aircraft in Europe indeed.
@@maxenroute Oh with Condor. I think the last B757-300 operator in Europe. I am not sure if Icland Air still have some -300.
BUTTER!

You are right! Good catch. I fixed the description.
@@maxenroute funny enough, I just got off N57111 a few hours ago. And I had N41140 almost five years ago.
4200 rpm
The last time a flew I had an upset stomach and farted a lot. I felt sorry for the people sitting around me. Sorry!
