Thank you! I have young men/sons who still honor my request to come with their mama to church. I was never more touched by the graciousness of the people of Sun Valley than one morning a few years back when my oldest son walked into the packed Gilbert campus with his long hair & Metallica T-shirt on. A man seated behind us leaned over to my son and said “I like your t-shirt man”. Another man gave a positive comment after the service. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing grace & kindness to my beloved son. He still attends with me❤️

Yes, I do have lots of friends that don’t know God. I’m planting the seed with them. I want everyone to have freedom/peace on earth that only Jesus can give them. Plus I want to see everyone in heaven.

Thank you Paul......loved the Will's little brother story, although it had a sad ending, and loved your down-to-earth, real, way of expressing your thoughts about these scriptures..... 👍😊🙏

Great story! I have experienced this type of behavior in my church journey as well. So sad that this happens/happened. We all need to strive to do better.

“Sinner cooties”. That made me chuckle, but the rest hurt my heart. This whole message will stay with me for a very long time. What a lesson to us all. May we never turn a “little brother” away from knowing God.

Great message to ponder today. I too grew up in a Will type church. So sad to think of the people who were turned away from Jesus table.

Will's story brought tears to my eyes. Oh how sad. I pray we never make anyone feel like Will in our church.

Sadly, I have this seen this response you mentioned when I was a young boy growing up in the Lutheran church. Great message Paul! Church should be for the sick; which incidentally is ALL of us.

I really wanted the story to be different. I was thinking what a fabulous witness that man in the robe could have been.
