- Dr. Scot McKnight is a professor, author, golfer. He's also a newly converted Clevland Guardians fan and believes that Michael Jordan (not Lebron James) was the best basketball player of all time. Oh, and Scot is also a world renowned New Testament scholar who's written dozens of books and several commentaries on various books in the New Testament, including his most recent commentary: Revelation for the Rest of Us: A Prophetic Call to Follow Jesus as a Dissident Disciple. This podcast conversation is free flowing. It ranges from technical scholarly issues to baseball to MJ vs. Lebron to politics to a theopolitical reading of the book of Revelation. In short, Babylon is everywhere. And Christians must "come out of her" (Rev 18). Register for the Exiles 2 day conference in Denver (Oct 4-5) here: theologyinther...

This interview is gold! Thank you!
I'd love to hear an analysis of the work of Robert Lindsey who was convinced that Luke was written first. He was a Baptist missionary in Palestine when Israel became a state. The synoptic research he was involved in continues today involving numerous scholars and their works published through Jerusalem Perspective online.

Mark Goodacre studied at Oxford University for all his degrees. His DPhil tesis was on Goulder, that's the connection.
