I saw your video on the Pete Alonso situation and I 100% agree with you. To be fair on both sides, I understand that Pete wants to get the most money possible for his family etc. but the Mets are definitely going in a new direction, the management made the best and fair effort possible to get him back. Alonso should've took that long term deal when he had the chance. You said it best, both he and (not so superagent) Scott Boras got way too greedy. Boras has failed his clients before and had to settle for way less. Let that thought marinate for a while. Keep up the great work, wishing continued success and congrats on your channel. 🥰😎⚾

I totally agree with you 100%. The Mets made a fair long term offer to him which he rejected. You have to seize the moment when opportunity knocks, Boras and Pete just shut that door. Nevertheless, I wish Pete the best. 😃
This is tragic, terrible by Cohen and CHEPO Stearns, paying 800 to out of towner and not taking care of homegrown polar bear, I’m disgusted, both lied to us saying they were going to bring major leaguers to compete with dodgers, you can kiss that goodbye , extremely disappointed, winker for Alonso, who they trying to kid around, plan b my …., hating Stearns/boras
They offered him as much AAV as almost any 1st baseman in MLB despite having his worst season...far from cheap. It was about the $$ and the Mets were not comfortable getting to $30M a year. Can't blame them.

He will certainly bounce back but even those "bad year" numbers are hardly replaceable. Losing Pete would leave a really bad taste, at least for a huge portion of the Mets community.
Those overpays were completely different front office...Stearns operates smarter. The team he put together was 2 wins from winning a pennant in his first year at the helm. They will make it work.
We can disagree it's all good man. We have no clue if he will bounce back. 2023 worst average & OBP of career. 2024 worst HR & RBI & 2nd most strikeouts in career. Not sure what signs show he will "certainly" bounce back. This was on Pete/Boras.

Let's go Knicks!!
Let's go!!!!
NOT a 'what have you done for me lately' league, but a 'what will you do for us next year' league.
a combo of both
You neglected Alonso's 2023 sub par year as well...
i've mentioned in videos 2023 was his worst AVG and OBP year
If I survived Jake signing with the rangers. I will surely survive Pete’s departure. My preference would be Vlad Jr, Casas, etc
Yup...they will be fine.

Facts! We can severely overpay for Scherzer, Verlander & the like, but they play hardball with our home grown guy whose been loyal af
We will see where Stearns pivots...Alonso was very bad the entire regular season. It's a risk hoping he bounces back. Mets now have options.
