@@0_zsR Abydos is one of ancient city in Egypt in real life, so Abydos district in the game is reference to that, and the district in current day is covered in sand is also a reference to Egypt, Shiroko is also called God of Death Anubis that guide the soul to the underworld (not literal but it is it), Anubis is God of Funeral Rite and a guide of soul in Underworld in Egyptian Mythology who also guide the soul of dead people, and he is also a canine-faced god so Shiroko being a wolf girl is also a reference
One other thing to note is that Kivotos is absurdly large for a single city. We learn in the Riding Shiroko bond story that Kivotos has a diameter of 4000km (about 2,500 miles). The contiguous USA (Everything except Alaska and Hawaii) has a diameter of 4500km (about 2,800 miles). That's mind boggling.
And if you look at the 4th PV you can tell that Kivotos is not just massive but also on a planet that is clearly bigger than Earth, I'd say it's 2x or 3x bigger than Earth, which would explain why everyone is so physically strong. Even sensei has a ridiculous physiology without a Halo, he straight up recovered from a bullet wound and gets back to full strength in less than 24 hours. And he didn't even hold a grudge on the person who shot him, tbf she's hot.
A bit of note, Sensei's main defense and trump card is literally a credit card which is also the player's P2W power itself, lorewise not only he uses it for daily uses but also to kick Raid Boss asses
At first I thought it's just a 1 off joke they slid in for fun, but then in the finale/final boss fight he uses it again and even the boss also uses it to refill his crystals. I can't even...

Kivotos being an "Academy city" reminds me of the Academy city from the Toaru series. In both instances, your grades and status of your school define your social standing. I don't know whether it was an inspiration or intentional reference, though.

My theories are that the girls are LITERALLY HEAVEN AND HELL HOSTS. Also the animals and Robots are normal humans but just how the Sensei sees them. Robots are basically those who are just NPCs at their job, etc.

Okay, that may be not so close to the game counterpart since the lan assistants are assistant to the teacher/professor. But still, this _BA_ system of having senior(s) to teach the juniors is good, IMO. Because they may still have recent memory of their subject _and_ have closer time gap to the juniors-making both sides easier to communicate than them to teacher (who's a lot older, may be from "previous" generation (potential boomer), and have to be respected-for a good reason, though tends to be "misused")
Good solid primer on the setting with references and inside jokes for the more established senseis to enjoy. Great pacing, jokes, use of animation and cut-ins, and flow of the conversation! I watched this because I thought it'd tell what D.U. stood for because I've forgotten. But this was an excellent find!

It seems generally agreed that the students are like a catalog of concepts and ideas akin to spirits, or much more generalized greek gods. Hoshino being an analog for Horus, egyptian god of war (abydos as a whole is a reference to egypt). Or Shiroko being the "wolf god", as for sensei... My conjecture is that Sensei and the adult antagonists like Black Suit are all in the same situation of being brought into the world from another "plane" wheather it be agaisnt their will or a plan all along. Whereas Sensei (perhaps in the previous timeline that the student councel president was in) was recognized as trustworthy by Kivotos while the others formed gemetria. The JP story migh disprove me already but I avoid spoilers. As for the robots and dogs, I think the publisher didn't want any male npc's despite other gachas like Princess connect having plenty. But they must exist in the canon since the concept of sisters and "visiting family back home" is brought up. My headcannon is that Senesi is like Araragi from monogatari series and just ignores/reinterperets all ofther adults because he simply can't bring himself to care about them as much as the girls.
I like to imagine this universe only has females and sensei is just for self-insert. And someone found it boring seeing the same gender so they made robots. And the dogs? Well dogs are cute, and I think that's why the devs add them in just to diversify the pool a little bit.

honestly your theory is sort of on the money here. they sort of substitute male NPCs and NPCs in general who are not students as robot and animals To add further to that line of thought, he(sensei) and maybe even the entire student bodies also view them differently. they see the trustworthy or the common folks as dogs and cats because they have a life, a heart, struggle and is a living being just like the students. HOWEVER, those who are robots are pretty much those who the students view as heartless, uncaring,... If you look at the stories, you can pretty much see all robots kinda act like a*holes. People such as bank employees, security personnel, guards, pretty much the entire Kaiser corp; because to the students, these people are heartless, they act like what they are told and dont even consider other's feelings hence robots

Hyakkiyako (hyakki yagyo/ hundred parades of demons) based on its name is a onis who like festival, just like Gehenna filled with demons they were filled with onis. Ninja culture also has ties to oni stories as well so they are there. Shanghaijing (Shang-hai Jing/Classic of Mountains and Seas) is an encyclopedia of mystical place along with the magical beasts that dwells on the area. Red Winter is the only one that is romanticized version of Soviet Union. Communists is known for being atheist so there's no supernatural creature.. That's why there's only one animal feature student and she is on suspension indefinitely.
