Don't trust any version of the Bible people. No kidding. I'm so upset in learning after doing months of digging just how corrupt most all other versions are. Read David W Daniels' "Did the Catholic Church give us The Bible" and "Look What's Missing". You will be blown away. He also has some videos that are very good. David learned multiple languages, helps translate Bibles and has done a thorough research on the origins of the two different text paths the Bible was translated from. My NIV and ESV and other versions are purely trash and I only use for comparison. For now on it is the KJV for me. See for yourself.

@@kellibodony1077 Another one of those crazy KJV only people. Some think that the King James is more inspired than the original Hebrew and Greek. While there are some issues in modern translations, they are few and rarely impact the meaning of a passage. Stop undermining the inerrancy of Scripture.

@@paul.phillips, to be fair, many of the new versions of the Bible do have missing text or text that means something completely opposite. But I don't know at the moment which ones are different from the KJV. Except Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:5, etc. Genesis 1:1 says in the KJV "In the beginning, God created the" heaven "(singular).... Afterwards other verses talk about the" heavens"(plural) so He first made the space to put the earth, afterwards He devided it into 3 sections. This is just one example.

You call people to repentance Ray and tell them if there isn't repentance there isn't salvation. But I think it's a given that you believe repentance is empowered by the Holy Spirit. God is faithful to those who have surrendered their lives. Our trajectory will be holiness if the Holy Spirit is active in us. 100%. :) A lot of folks like LDS separate grace and works. I considre myself a non-denominational believer in Jesus/Yeshua. Reformed teaching would say our salvation is ALL a work of God. And growing up in non-cessationist circles just makes me more thankful for that because I see the Spirit active in so many ways.

When I was a Mormon and in seminary, they told us the goal was to become like God and populate planets. (Much like SIMS!) I was pretty offended, refused to go back to seminary. As a matter of fact it was that same year my foster parents later on introduced me to Christianity and the Born Again way. I was 14. John 3:16! By the grace of God, he saved my soul. 🙏😇 But it grieves my heart so many Mormons don't get it do to brainwashing. I'm not saying that to be mean, I honestly grieve because many Mormons are good people. And I know they do not like being called Mormons, but honestly that's something I accepted when I was a child. If you are LDS out there reading this-please do not be offended by my words. Please go read John 3:16 yourself. It wasn't easy for me to leave the Mormon church, but there is some serious brainwashing that continues to this day, there. When you hear the same thing over and over, that's brainwashing. Joseph Smith as we know him today in the LDS church is NOT the Prophet of God. The sacrifice of Jesus saved us. He paid the ultimate price for our sins. Remember how Abraham was supposed to sacrifice his son and was stopped? God spared his creation (us) from the torment of seeing Abraham and Sarah lose their only son. What a price Jesus paid! 😭He died on the cross for YOUR sins, for mine and for the entire creation of humankind. Your works are dead. We do good works not to get into heaven, but so that we feel good inside, right? We cannot interfere in the ultimate sacrifice. But Jesus did command us to feed and clothe the hungry because it was like giving to him. We have ALL SINNED and have fallen short of the glory of God, and what this guy in the video says is the truth. But! He does it with love and courage. God bless

Thank you for your post Margaret. Well, I want to start by saying. You did the right thing. I went to their church once. Didn't know a lot about them. It seemed harmless. Everything was going well, until I heard praise John ! Whose John I ask ? They explained... I must have looked at them, like they were out of their minds. What ? The Bible says, to worship no other gods, but the true God. My spirit didn't want anything to do with this church. And why this other book ? They said, John had something to do with this book. Why not follow the true Bible? They went by this book of Mormon. I couldn't be there any longer. They are being lied to. It's sad, because we know what truth is. Even tho the Bible has been tampered with, over time. It's still enough to get you and me into the Kingdom of Heaven. You can't get there no other way, but through Jesus Christ. That's all there is to it. Thank you for sharing your post again Margaret.

I felt bad for them, so I offered to buy them something to eat and drink, which they seem to appreciate. I told them they shouldn't ride their bikes in this 100-degree heat. I'm an ex Mormon and sadly most people don't get saved after falling away from the church. By the grace of God I was saved I fell away and became athiest/agnostic for a long time. Then the Lord called me back and just like this gentleman said once you realize the Bible isn't corrupted and have a better understanding of the TRUE gospel everything became so clear it was amazing. Most Mormons think they know what other Christians believe but just have "more" added to it. They have more of the truth. When I tell you they have no understanding at all of the true gospel and what other Christians believe it's astounding. That's also what kept me from the Lord for so long... pray, pray, and pray some more for all the other people tricked by the devil to believe these awful lies the LDS church promotes.

Paul gave an insight to departing from the faith during his days as Apostle to the Gentiles. In his last meeting with the elders of Ephesus, Paul warned them to take heed in their duties as overseers of the churches in Ephesus. Paul explains why in the succeeding verses:
“For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.” (Acts 20:29-30)
Years later, Paul’s first letter to Timothy warns about apostasy in the church, the departing from the faith in the latter times.
      “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall DEPART FROM THE FAITH, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
      2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 FORBIDDING TO MARRY and COMMANDING TO ABSTAIN FROM MEATS, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:”
There are now thousands of churches with differing beliefs and doctrines of salvation. Which of these churches have departed from the faith? Some churches now even teach that baptism is no longer required. Whether we are saved by grace alone or by faith alone or by works alone or by a combination of two or all of these had been the cause of disagreements and contentions among Christian churches for many many centuries.
Jesus built his church through his apostles whom he ordained, gave power and authority, and guided by revelations, and the members were called saints (Ephesians 2:19-20). There is one church today that fits that description of the church of Jesus. It is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with its living Apostles and prophets guided by revelations; the global church with over 70,000 full-time missionaries serving without pay to preach the restored gospel of Jesus Christ in 160 countries.

      2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

Your free of torment because you've fallen for the corrupted gospel preached by Paul.
Paul wrote many things that contradicted Jesus and freely admitted he was a liar.
Romans 3:7 "For if the truth of God hath more abounded through MY LIE unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
Paul was identified as a false apostle in the 1st Century. Paul writes:
2 Timothy 1:15 "This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes."
The church at Ephesus is commended by God for rejecting false apostles.
Revelation 2:2 "I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:"
There's plenty on the internet about Paul's corruption of the Gospel of Jesus and his contradictory accounts of his Damascus Road conversion.
      Here's just a few contradictions:
      ON MERCY
      Romans ch.9
[15] For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."
[16] So it depends not upon man's will or exertion, but upon God's mercy.
[18] So then he has mercy upon whomever he wills, and he hardens the heart of whomever he wills.
      VS.
Matthew 5:7 "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy."
      ON JUSTIFICATION
      Romans ch.3
[24] they are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,
[28] For we hold that a man is justified by faith apart from works of law.
      vs
Matthew 12:37 "for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."
Matthew 19:17 "Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
      ON WHAT IS HONORABLE
2 Corinthians 8:21 "for we aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord's sight but also in the sight of men."
      vs
Luke 16:15 "But he said to them, You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts; for what is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God."
      ON THE LAW
Romans 6:14 "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace."
Galatians 3:13 "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
      vs
Matthew 5:17-18 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
Salvation by grace alone is Paul's greatest lie.
James 2:20 "You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?"

As an ex-Mormon I am now closer to God than ever before. Being away from the church for several years I clearly see how false this religion really is. There is only ONE book and one alone, and it's the Bible. Joseph Smith stole a lot of scripture from the Bible and incorporated it into the Book of Mormon! I see this often reading my Bible. It is so bizarre that "lifelong Christians" are fooled by the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Mormons. Billy Graham endorsed Mitt Romney, who is a Mormon, in the 2016 primary elections for the Republican Party. Billy Graham's website took the Mormons off his cult list.
In 1890, when the territory of Utah was to become a state, the Mormon practice of polygamy had to be renounced. The Mormon church today is very wealthy, and controlled the state of Utah (probably still does).
When people don't read a Protestant Bible every day, they get sucked into all of these cults and false religions.
I've never heard an evangelist ever call out the Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons as cults, but that's really what they are.

I fell out of Mormonism last year and got saved a few months later. I've since tried to share the gospel with lots of LDS friends and family, but I've found that (1) the Bible scares them and (2) the concept of grace -- a gift of salvation by faith alone in Jesus alone offends them. I tried the Ray Comfort method with a couple people close to me and that was a trainwreck, because they just refused to acknowledge that they were sinners. Now that I think of it, I should have focused on the sin of idolatry, but that would have required a lot of comments on the temple and a false God, which would have taken me back to the scary Bible. If I ever heard the simple gospel of grace before last year (I don't think I ever really did), I suspect I was under the influence of so much mind control and demonic spiritual influence that I don't think I would have been capable of comprehending it. I was also born and raised into the LDS church for the first 18 years of my life. I can say that this video shows absolutely many of the horrifying lies that they believe. I had much of the same experience as the ex-Mormon in this video growing up. Long story short, I also turned away from all churches for a couple of years after leaving the LDS church. I was secular and worldly until someone started sharing the true gospel with me at my workplace just last year. He gave me a Bible and invited me to attend his Christian church. I started reading the book of Matthew and throughout my weeks of reading it and attending church services, God cleansed me and opened my eyes to the truth. I finished the book of Matthew, and I had an understanding of the simplicity of God’s grace. I finally had a relationship with God that I so longed for, and I also developed in such a short amount of time a spiritual family at my church. I got baptized a couple of months later. No one in my mostly LDS family attended, but my Grandad did, and my spiritual family was there. I have never had so much joy, and God has spiritually gifted me in ways I could’ve never believed possible. And just last week, I witnessed to LDS missionaries for the first time and told them my testimony. Praise God for this opportunity and for this man’s opportunity to share. Christ is worth it all, even the hardship that comes after leaving the cult of Mormonism.

I am so glad you have a great relationship with the Lord. So do I. Mormonism is not a thing. It’s something that people that do not believe use to try and take people that do believe down. True Christian’s do not degrade someone else’s believes. I left the baptist church because they could not answer any questions. They would just tell me we will know when we die. I don’t go bashing the baptist church or any churches. A persons beliefs are very personal dear to them. No one should call or put down someone’s beliefs just because they don’t believe like they do. I believe that Christ would not approve of such behavior. So if you don’t mind we will just have to agree to disagree because I’m not going to change your mind and your not going to change mine. Most important thing is that people accept the Lord as their savior. Have a nice and blessed life.

Also to call the church a cult would be blasphemous. My assumption is that someone in the church offended you and you looked for justifications in your position to leave. It is unfortunate that the church has varying levels of conversion within it. We are all sinners after all, and some are further ahead in their salvation and understanding of the gospel than others. I'm sorry that your experience with the LDS church was not a positive one. But horrifying lies and a cult? Come on.

@@ogeegonesoon8549 I can understand that some things are hard for people to swallow. Not just in the LDS church but anything for that matter. Sticking to just the church though, I do not have a perfect knowledge of all things and therefore don't have a perfect understanding as to why we do things that some would call Bazaar. I also have friends who have left the church because of reasons that I don't agree with, and personally find that they've decided it's convenient for them to no longer have to live a higher standard so to speak, so they leave. As far as us being gods and goddesses in training, I am also of that viewpoint, but different to your mother's. It's my understanding that it is not our children and grandchildren that worship us. They go on to become gods and goddesses as well assuming that we all inherited the same degree of the celestial kingdom to begin with. As to who will "worship" us as gods? I don't know. My assumption would be spirit children that we create in the celestial kingdom as gods/esses who then also have to obtain a physical body and then endure a mortal life, and the cycle goes on. As far as there being scripture about this in the bible, I do not think/know there is any. Full disclosure, I have not read the Bible cover to cover, so it's possible that there could be scripture regarding it, but I'm fairly certain that there isn't. My understanding of the "scriptures" or rather the "quad" is that there are four different books combined to make the "scriptures". Each book with its own unique "scope" on a subject to focus on. Old testament= the creation and history of the people and world from the beginning. New testament= story of Jesus Christ and his ministry upon the earth. Book of Mormon= A history of the American people who descended from the prophet Lehi who fled Jerusalem as instructed by God. This book also depicts the events of those people not long before the arrival of christ, until after his death. The fourth book is The pearl of great price and doctrine and covenants. This book contains many revelations and modern day commandment given to the prophet Joseph Smith for the people of the latter days. The reason you may not see the topic in question in the bible, is because it is out of the "scope" of the Bible, but in the scope of doctrine and covenants. Again I am not of a perfect understanding. I am sharing with you my view and understanding of such topics. People like to get so caught up in the details that they become lost along the way. In regards to polygamy, I do not know why God had the LDS church practice polygamy in it's early days. What I do believe is possible though, is simply a test of faith from God. As far as I know, we are not commanded to take multiple wives in the next life. It is strictly a choice. What I'm about to say is not doctrine but my own personal belief on why the idea of multiple spouses exist in the next life. I believe this happens for two reasons. In my opinion, men are much spiritualy weaker than women are. Just as women are naturally physically weaker compared to men. This is by God's design. This is why marriage between a man and woman is commanded. They make a perfect union, complement each other and compensate for each other's short comings. If you look at our prisons, they are mostly filled with men. Why is this? I believe it's because men are much more likely to succumb to the seductions of the devil, due to being spiritualy weaker than a woman. So what does it suggest about the afterlife in this scenario? There are going to be a whole lot of lonely women in need of a companion. Because we must be married to enter into the celestial kingdom, this problem leaves out many worthy women to enter the kingdom because they are not married. So what's the solution? God has prepared a way for those who CHOOSE to support more than spouse. Since Satan will be bound, and we will be perfected beings, we will no longer be corrupted by feelings of jealousy or envy, but rather gratitude and love. This is why I think the idea of plural marriage is possible and perhaps practiced in the afterlife, as it is only going to practiced by the people who CHOOSE to do so. It is NOT a requirement. I hope my testimony of these things might enlighten and inspire you to study these things on your own. After all, ask and you shall receive, knock and it shall be opened unto you. I say these things humbly and testify of their truth to the best of my ability at this time in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Well before the time of Jesus God the father said: “Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.” Deuteronomy 30:11. There are many verses like this. Jesus said “not even a pen stroke shall disappear from the law.” Mathew 5:17-18. Then in verse 19 of the same chapter Jesus clearly gives us different heavenly levels of least to greatest, which support the notion of different levels of heaven. 1st Corinthians 6:9 Jesus says “do not be deceived,” for a whole list of sinners he gives us will not enter into heaven, and grace will not change this fact. You must be both of works and of Christ. My brother in Christ please correct your false teaching. Mormonism aside. You are incorrect, The Bible does not say we are saved by Grace alone nor does it say we cannot follow the law without Grace. This is all out of my memory, if you claim to know God, then you should know his word. As Jesus says, “my sheep know my voice.” Whether or not you consider yourself Mormon, you are not saved by grace alone. The law is required of you. God does not require of man what he cannot do: “I have not spoken in secret, In a corner of a land of darkness; I did not say to the descendants of Jacob, ‘Seek Me in vain,’ I the LORD, speak righteousness, Declaring things that are upright.” Isaiah 45:19. All men of God who believe that they will be saved by grace alone or praise alone should read all of Isaiah Chapter 1. The Jews did not sacrifice to forgive sins, sacrificial atonement served as a teaching tool, you had to sacrifice the best of what you had, and this was to teach you not to sin again. Jesus did not serve as a replacement sacrifice as we can clearly see in Isaiah chapter 1. In that chapter God makes it clear that he expects grace to come from you and to be poor out unto others through your works, and that sacrificial atonement does not suffice.

My wife and I were raised Mormon. We left the church 7 years ago, became atheistic and had no direction. My wife, a few years later, followed some real Christians, was taught the real gospel and got baptized. She was fully delivered and manifested as she was being walked to the baptismal waters. I followed her tracks 2 weeks later. It was then that I gave my life to Jesus. It was then that the Holy Bible, that we as Mormons were taught not to trust, started to open up with new life, and a book, that was confusing and scary, began to be the biggest love story that was ever told. How Jesus defeated death, and gave new life, to those who would believe, how each story that was written, was written for Him, even from the beginning. The main thing I was missing as a Mormon was a conviction of sin, that was the first thing the Holy Spirit convicted me of. How Holy God is. How real the Bible is. How much God loved his Word. How Jesus manifested in flesh to reconcile us to Him. Giving up my will for His will. Being spiritual born again not through works, but through the pure grace of God. There were many lies that fell away as I read the Bible, the truth reveals itself. Now, we are the only two Christians in our families and are now trying to convert them to biblical Christianity, but it has been rough. Only by the grace of God will they be converted. Keep them in your prayers and thank you Ray for keeping Mormons in your evangelism. I love you all and God bless!

      New Covenant Whole Gospel:
Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him.
He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14.
      Awaken Church to this truth.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (Acts 2:36)

Over the last 2 years, I've met 4 different sets of elders at my door. I am very clear with them that I cannot accept The Book of Mormon as scripture, but if they want to talk with me about the Bible, I'm more than willing to do so. These elders are so far from home at such a young age, and they are serving God in their sacrifice, and demonstrating obedience in terms of their faith. I've enjoyed so much getting to know each elder, and they have been willing to explore the Bible with me. I've explained that I am here with my support of their mission in terms of their devotion/dedication. I've encouraged them to stop by if they have a bad day with lots of doors slammed in their faces, or worse. (One set of them actually had a gun poked out of a door at them!) I also have a pot belly pig named Penelope, and the word is out about her. The elders love meeting her and having their photos taken with her. This makes me happy. What surprises me is that each one of them has a different level of knowledge about the Bible. Some know very little, others know it very well. No matter what, I offer them my emotional support and prayers because this is what my faith instructs me to do. I don't have to agree with the Book of Mormon or the LDS faith to be kind. It isn't "us" vs. "them." It's accepting each other as children of God. Period.

How can someone be born again and remain Mormon?

    • @jimbomanzano5743

Jesus said, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God,” and “Except a man be born of water and of the spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3,5).
In the early church of Jesus Christ, the members were called saints. How did one become a member then? When the Apostles preached, those who believed repented of their sins, were baptized by immersion and received the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands by those authorized to do so. (See Acts 2:38,41, Acts 8:14-17, Romans 6:3,4). This is being born again, a newness of life.
The 4th Article of Faith of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints states: “We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
The Latter-day Saints are born again Christians. We are guided by living apostles and prophets in these latter-days. We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and his Apostles: “Love your neighbor as yourself, Keep my commandments, Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works, Love one another, Forgive one another, etc.”

@@jimbomanzano5743 I am puzzled how Mormons can adhere to such excellent tenets of Biblical faith, yet also embrace such bizarre notions as anticipating themselves to become equal to Christ, even when knowing that "all" authority is given to Jesus, in heaven and on earth.
And any fantasy that there is--or will--be life on any other planet only mocks God, who foretold in Revelation that the earth will be renovated by fire, and heaven will be establish on earth, with a new Jerusalem. Earth is God's sole jewel in the universe. Adding to Revelation only invites the woes described therein.
Our loving Father does not withhold important information from His children. Scripture is clear that we are made "a little lower than angels." Our spiritual rebirth does not endow us with deity, and deity cannot be less than omnipotent, omnicient and omnipresent. We will always be alittle lower than angels: nothing in Holy Writ even remotely intimates otherwise.

They who left the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints didn’t fully understand what the restored gospel is all about and why there was a need for a restoration. The apostle Paul gave an insight to this in 2Thessalonians 2:1-3: “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for THAT DAY SHALL NOT COME EXCEPT THERE COME A FALLING AWAY FIRST, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”
Apostasy began to creep in early into the church, even during the days of the original apostles. Paul gave an insight to this in Acts 20:29-30: “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.”

All have sinned and there is none righteouss (Romans 3:10, 23), there is a penalty for sin (Rev 20:15), while you were yet a sinner, Christ died for you (Rom 5:8), believe in Christ alone with your whole heart and you will be saved (Romans 10:9, 13).

I had 2 missionaries at my door, I gave them Micah Wilder's book Passport To Heaven, told them he was a wonderful young man who had been a Mormon missionary that I had met and heard sing and play such lovely music.
Micah was led to the cross by a Baptist pastor, I'm hoping his book will lead these 2 men there also.

Yes, I agree. I've been an ex mormon since 1987. I am happy in life and am a Christian, but the culture, and mentality still run deep. I still have a hard time accepting God's grace at times and have a hard time accepting that I am saved. I still have that voice in the background in my head that questions if God really will save me. Am I good enough? I never felt like I would ever be good enough in the LDS faith. I'm mostly over it, but sometimes things trigger that feeling. Also, since I started going to church when I was five, it definitely leaves an impact. I had wonderful friends growing up in the church, but they abandoned me when I left. That was hard. Sometimes, I remember the good times I had with them, and it makes me nostalgic and miss being a mormon at times. I do miss the sense of community and family I had.
