Great video brings back memories although I am a Roath boy I spent a lot of time down the docks and loved the carnival especially the country man sound system outside the paddle steamer thanks for making this video.
lol my mum used to go there too! We were scattered around Cardiff, my family went to grangetown but we all had the option to move back once the new houses were built which was nice x
Hey, great vid. I used to love the Butetown Carnival, didn't live in Butetown but my parents took me there every year. Do you know if there are any videos from back in the day of the Butetown carnival on youtube?
Planned neglect of communities to justify demolition and then awarding a lucrative redevelopment contract. This makes me genuinely sad. Communities being destroyed for profit.
im from st pauls bristol Butetown is not ghetto like st pauls we had all the yardies shooting guns and sellin on front line st pauls was like harlem usa
I didn't even mention St Paul's in this video. I've been to St Paul's many times, nice people. I've also been to Harlem and can tell you St Paul's does not compare one bit.
