1 dead, 1 injured in West Seattle double shooting near Alki Beach

- Police are searching for multiple suspects after a man was killed and another was injured in a West Seattle shooting Saturday morning.
Patrol officers responded to reports of multiple shots fired in the 1000 block of Harbor Avenue Southwest at 3:51 a.m. A man suffering from a gunshot wound was found in the road. The Seattle Fire Department pronounced him dead after arriving.
Another shooting victim was found with a gunshot wound in Renton. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

Remember when Alki was lined with old beach houses full of young musicians. Loud music flowed from lowriders driving slowly throught the neighborhood and crowds of tourists walked up and down the ave drinking coffee from the bakery while watching the beach volleyball tournaments. Gentrification is the most destructive force in Seattle. If you gave the retired Californians cash to go back home Alki would eventually return to its amazing self.

Can the city be sued for encouraging lawlessness?
Seattle literally just gave a $10million settlement because they said it would cost more to fight the lawsuit in court than to just pay the 10million. So the answer is YES they can and have been. Just a matter of how many before they are forced to stop or get jail time themselves. Sawant has been off the council for a couple of years is currently being sued by a family member of a boy that died during her supported CHAZ CHOP occupation. Both her and the city have lost two as codefendants so far for that exact reason.

Are they allowing this to happen so people get tired and sell their property? Do you know or suspect the reasons behind the council letting the city go to the pits?
