Been a NZ cricket fan my whole life. You have to ride the lows, endure the valleys so you can truly celebrate the highs and momentous wins. I am a cricket tragic. Was a more than useless no 11 batsman when I tried to play, but if the Black Caps are playing I am either watching, listening or refreshing cricinfo to not miss the action. Yes, it can be very frustrating at times, but it is what us real fans do.
From a New Zealander, living in Perth almost 20 years,I have always supported our men and women in every sporting venture they represent our country. At times the inconsistency of our teams is difficult to get excited with performances that bounce from ie Black Caps a white wash of India in their own back yard, then produce a sub standard performance against England ,it could well be rain maybe what saves an English team or chasing down a huge declaration in my honest opinion the first year with Razor as Head coach, because of thedominant position until the capitulation could well have been 12 out of 14 South Africa 1st test and France. Our women's sevens and from time to time minority representation sports produce unheralded champions.Whatever changes in either personnel or strategic I will not comment, only let's not carry underperforming players and players that may not be in the mix come 2027, let's chance our arm
Devlin goes from lecturing us that a good fan is critical straight to a cringeworthy kiss ass interview with the least successful AB’s coach in 100 years. Take your own advice Devlin
Did I hear that right that Fozzie is claiming to have the left the ABs in a good space with a lot of youngsters he brought through? Geez, that is something I would expect to hear on the 1st April. The ABs were only saved by the NZR bringing in Jason Ryan & Joe Schmidt after Fozzie had thrown his 1st choice chosen Assistants under the bus. And while Fozzie said that he has "moved on & has 'probably' forgotten about it" from the whole ABs situation, his memory seems to be pretty good to still be talking about it while is he leaving some things in his 'memory' for another day. Confusion & contradiction reigns. Comparing SBW & RTS isn't even a close one. SBW did his apprenticeship by playing 30 games at Toulon under the mentorship of Tana Umaga before doing more groundwork playing for Canterbury in the NPC before being ready to step up to Super Rugby with the Crusaders & Chiefs before getting to be an AB whereas RTS went straight into the Blues & pretty much struggled from day 1. Planning, slow & steady wins the race every time. Let's just hope that Joey Manu gets some good coaching...
Love the show can you do a segment on the #Breakers and what is going on with them, the decision on #TakoFall and how it seems to have been a publicity stunt for the #NBL that destroyed our season.
Was incredibly disrespected. Now Razor is showing the job ain't so easy, even though he was touted as a messiah when he forced NZR to announce him as the new coach before the world cup.
Fozzie had 8 years as an ABs Assistant Coach before taking the reigns & still couldn't do a good job. Razor was thrown in the Deep End with a team/squad lacking in confidence & direction. Rome wasn't built in a day so Razor has done a pretty damm good job considering.
@@rugbyanalyst1 Yeah, I agree. It was a mixture of performances & results with some ugly wins, some good wins, some close losses, some games of 2 halves, AWOL in patches, a disappointing loss to Arg in Wellington & a slightly disappointing performance against Italy, albeit still a win, but for a new Coaching Group & the (forced) introduction of some newbies, I'll take that. Here is to a tidier 2025 & beyond. I hope that there are a few more players to put their hand up during the next SR Campaign as well as giving the AB 'A' side more games to introduce them to International footy. Does Aus need any warm-up games prior to the Lions Series? Would the SR & Rugby Championship schedules allow for a NZ XV vs Aus game (or 2) if both sides could agree? Then ABs 'A' vs Leinster next Autumn or maybe even 1 vs Leinster & 1 vs Munster.
@lovemysport7902 That is a good analysis of the season. The All Blacks XV definitely should've had more than 2 games this year, will be interesting to see how many games they will have next year and when they will be. I believe there are a few players who can really break into the side that were either not in the squad this year or not in the 23 after this upcoming season. They are Sotutu, Perofeta and Fainga'anuku.
great to see Ian is doing well in his new role all class.
Joe Schmidt is the only reason you got anywhere near that final buddy
yip, when they played poorly it was everything to do with Foster, and when they played well it was nothing to do him. That makes complete sense.
😂
Exactly
Jeez the laddie gave 12 years for the old foe .give it a rest
Foster got covid. Schmidt took over against Ireland and won. Foster then returned and lost the next 2 tests against Ireland.

ian play joey manu at 2nd 5 its easier to learn and i see him being an allblack with proctor 13 this the recipe for domination at eden park in sept
No chance Robertson picks a player on form like Proctor
To play for the black caps you have to live in mt maunganui darling
If Mark Robinson wasn’t such a political turn coat and supported the coach it would have been a different story .
you deserved better ian rugby nz did u dirty bro. ur better than that, and were scapegoated rugby govt suck clearly

@lovemysport7902 He's done an above average job, can't call it good based on the results and performances of this year.
