Now this is an awesome piece. Not so much for me per say because I don't collect statues but I can definitely appreciate quality and this is definitely a quality piece and definitely brings back memories of arcades gone by. Great review Anthony!!!

This one is so goooood, still don't fucking have mine, ffs. The Sonic Booms look so good here. Didn't know his Dog Tag was a tangible item, that's neat.

One problem that you forgot to mention on this figure... The sonic boom is NOT accurate! The fists are not supposed to come together; they are supposed to overlap. I wish they would have made it game accurate. Other than that, good review except there should be a dark room showing of the lighting effects so you could see that the lighting effects could be improved such as diffusing the lighting effect so you don't see each bulb as much.

it's not accurate because it would look weird on the figure. i didnt forget. additionally, i didnt show it in a dark room because the lighting effects need to look good in a normal display situation. Any light-up collectible will look good in a dark room so it is irrelevant. no one leaves the lights off when showing their collection so it is important to show how the item looks with light hitting it.. the "bulbs" cant be diffused more and still be seated in nice, translucent plastic. it would have to be very milky...which is not ideal.

I would say that it looks weird not being game accurate vs what we got. Don't get me wrong, I like the figure, just want it more representative and we should call it out if it is wrong. As for diffusing the lights, they could have used other light sources to diffuse the look instead of getting the robotic light transitions we see. To me, at least this is more forgivable that having the wrong movement of the figure. Just my two cents.

look at the anatomy of the figure. being this stylized leaves no room for the arms to overlap in front of the figure naturally. not sure why you came to post on my review to criticize my evaluation of this figure when you have your own review. that's simply poor etiquette.

No, I even mentioned that you did a good job. As a matter of fact, the lighting and filming is outstanding! I was just mentioning that the flaws on the figure itself. I figured as a fellow collector, you would appreciate the details.

well, as i explained above, the details you're referring to need to be the way they are on this figure. can't have a heavily stylized figure and everything true to source/perfect. it's just the nature of it.
