QOTD: Since Marvel Legends is already so filled with obscure characters and deep cut figures, I’m perfectly fine with this. Especially since it’s 2 popular Marvel characters and based on a comic cover.
This 2-pack release is truly for fans who read comics. It’s a direct representation from Wolverine’s book.
Anyone can enjoy it but it means more for comic readers so it’s very cool to see this was made.
What they should have done is have a cross arms accessory for hulk, like shf does for dbz figs. Im assuming if you bought these figures you would want to recreate that iconic cover art on the back of the box, but you cant even do that. What a shame
As wolverine fan I'm glad this set was put out and I'm glad it wasn't in a wave. Both are very niche figures and not putting it in a standard wave leaves that spot for a figure others would want more and it wasn't a situation where Joe Fixit was the BAF or something. That said, accessories could be better and in general their suited figures are never really articulated that well; Patch's jacket is tabbed in so you can open the jacket (I think it might be glued on in some cases - mine wasn't and opened pretty easily) so it does give him a bit more poseability there.
Congrats on the move, hope all is well and that you and the family can do a bit or relaxing now!
With a little added paint and articulation, these could have been a dream come true for a lot of collectors. As they are, I have the set and I'm glad I do, but they'll never do more than stand on my shelf as a reminder of what might have been. Hasbro gonna Hasbro.
Is that restaurant set when the two characters had no money and had to wait tables? A silver tray w some martini glasses and a cloth napkin to drape over the arm would’ve been nice

I wish they included plug in crossed arms with Joe Fixit. Similar to the arms SHF includes with Dragon Ball figures. With that much white, they could have added some light blue airbrushing to break it up.

Thanks for this review Anthony. QOTD: doesn't bother me as I am not interested in these variants. Not surprised that neither figure can pose in the position from the back of the package with folded arms. These variants must be for the collector looking for a specific look. Otherwise, this is a pretty lackluster 2-pack.

QotD: ehhhhh… definitely not for me, but a lot of my friends were excited about this set. I dont get the appeal of buying Superheroes in normal clothes, but a lot of people like that stuff. So I may just be old man yelling at clouds about it.

I like the look of them, but they could be miles better with some shading and better articulation.
I've been skipping Marvel Legends for a while now. I want my actuon figures to achieve action poses. Jada's Street Fighter figs and Hasbro's GI Joe Classified line are where I'd rather spend my money.
As someone with no attachment to marvel who collects action figure because he loves actions figures I would buy this if it was on clearance for like $15

I always thought patch was a very goofy idea for wolverine but that's kind of why I love it so it was a day one purchase for me
I've gotta say, it bothers me that they included Joe's trigger finger hand but didn't include his gun that was in a previous release...even for a "premium" set Hasbro's gonna Hasbro...

No interest in this two pack for me personally, but I get it….unlike that perplexing Strange Tales wave.
Yes this is clearly for people that care about these characters in these looks but Marvel Legends/Hasbro didn’t care enough to put any standout details in these figures. I skipped on these and all the other two packs with Wolverines because they had versions of him I didn’t care for.
Unless you’re re-creating that cover in 3D. Not work it.
The Wolverine I want them to make is the Wolverine from Earth X (fat Wolverine)
Would have been a genuine must buy for me if they could ACTUALLY do the pose on the cover

I was worried about buying this one. I've seen White Paint figures from Hasbro go *Yellow-ish* after a year or two, and these seem like they would! ⚡⚡
I'll reiterate my point that companies are banking on the in box collector these days.
These should be like more budgeted figures,
They are so plain looking.
these are the only designs of patch and joe fixit that i ever cared to get, the cover in the comic is iconic but overall they were never high on my list of looks i wanted for either character. The other Joe fixit figures from Marvel Legends has just as poor range and i was supprised that the patch figures arms and legs weren't the same as joe fixit's and could actually move. The set was way overpirced for the amount of reuse in these figures they should have added in crossed arm parts to reproduce the comic cover the figures cant even be shown off in the pose that made these outfits iconic in the first place.

Nope. I was a kid when Wolverine's solo title started. I was very disappointed. The cover of issue #1 was the only kinda cool thing out of the entire run, in my opinion.
