    As an L3 owner of two years the bike is phenomenal and great with the burley travoy trailer for camping shopping etc , it won’t do the range FIIDO say it will unless on totally flat ground and a rider that weighs nothing , at 100 kg with a fair few steep hills on peddle assist 2 with some throttle for the steepest hills I get 45 miles even pulling a loaded trailer , first E bike I’ve had where the battery range is longer than my backside range , the seat is very comfortable but after thirty miles I can hardly walk lol , don’t bother with the cruise control it’s far more controllable without it , I use peddle assist two and some throttle when needed rather than full throttle all the time , it’s not all about speed and full throttle, mines been places a bike with fourteen inch wheels has no place being even over the pennine hills , I would recommend the L3 to anyone .

    I own this. This is one of the best small e-bikes for the price. Unlocking it gets you 21-22mph 👌🏼

    Nice ride, I have two batteries for my E-bike and I tried them in the cold they barely ran the thing they took a dump so fast and they are only a year old I did not run them to much I hope they work now in the warmer weather if they don't it would stink they don't last to long then.

      @@tdrdronesebikesandscooters8377 Yeah that's what I been doing also, they are probably cheap cells in the batteries and don't supply enough amps through them when it's cold i am thinking.

    The first two battery bars will last longer than the last three as each bar lasts slightly less longer than the preceding one .

    A thing to note is the centre of gravity is low like a scooter and if you have to slam the breaks on from full throttle you stand a good chance of going over the handle bars as I found out when a dog ran out in front of me , luckily neither the dog me or the bike were harmed .

      No body uses the front brakes on any bike for that reason it’s a rule. Always use the back brake

  • @mickd6942
    @mickd6942 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Peddle assist if you want the best range , it’s peddling without any power that’s the real nightmare with an L3 so the last thing you want is to totally flatten the battery .

    • @yoloturnt
      @yoloturnt 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For my fiido l3 it feesl like i am pedaling air no matter which level assist I select. The assisted power is same on on levels 1, 2 and 3 which sounds weird to me. I should be able to pedal more on level 1. Is it the same case with your L3?

    • @mickd6942
      @mickd6942 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@yoloturnt No , there is a definite difference on each level , normally I peddle but just add a touch of throttle so I can still feel resistance on the peddles , I find this much more responsive than the peddle assist which as you say feels like peddling fresh air

    • @yoloturnt
      @yoloturnt 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mickd6942for me there is no difference no matter what battery turned on, 2 rolls of peddle instantly draw full motor power and the bike runs super fast and I don’t have any resistance on paddles on pas 0, 1, 2, 3. Paddles having no resistance at all on flat road with motor running at full power makes me feel scary. Here i am not talking about throttle just paddling experience. Is there any way I can fix it and get different paddle assists on each level selected?
      One more thing when I use just throttle it goes into cruise control after 8 seconds but I tried to disable the cruise control but it still doesn’t get disabled.
      Any solutions? Seems like my L3 is drawing max power when battery is on except when using throttle mode.

    • @mickd6942
      @mickd6942 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@yoloturnt there is a video on here somewhere showing how to disable cruise control , I don’t use it as I consider it dangerous , unfortunately it’s not possible to disable peddle assist it’s on when the ignition is on but the throttle is much more controllable to match peddle effort , it takes a little practice to get the nack but is a problem when indicating right turn as you have to take your hand off the throttle which causes you to slow down which is not good in heavy traffic .

    • @yoloturnt
      @yoloturnt 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@mickd6942yeah throttle is okay for me, but just little peddling gives me max speed and peddling causes jerks. Throttle is smooth, I want to different speeds at level assists when I am using peddle which is not happening:
