    Man, I have been trying to figure out quadratic functions, how to graph them, vertexes and parabolas for the last two weeks now in my self-paced online class and you gave me more useful information in 30min than I got with the videos and walkthroughs provided to me in the class. Got it all the first time you explained. Thanks for your help and personality. It helped me relax and you brought me back to the memory of a great teacher I once had. Reminiscing, I guess, helps me in some way. Lol.

    I seriously cannot thank you enough. I am in college algebra and every lesson I skip the class explanations and come straight here. I cannot grasp all the "math talk" but you and the work you do with these students is easy to understand. THANK YOU.

    I've been taking IB math studies, and we've been doing this for a month, and I have a test tomorrow. I thought I was going to fail but you seriously taught me everything I'm supposed to learn in less than am hour. Thank you sir.

    You're teaching style has helped me study for the GRE tremendously. I was an excellent algebra student, but if you don't use it, you lose it. Grad school, here I come. Thank you so much. :)

    Hello sir,
    Thank you for such a wonderful way to teach not only the classroom but the world. I really understood more than i did in actual class. Could you teach how to find the maximum and minimum value of the quadratic function also please?

    I wish my Algebra 2 teacher was like you. Everyone in my class doesn't like her, including me. She is very very strict and she tries to be funny but it's really just not and it's actually offensive. She has anger issues and she talks wayy too much. I have a bad grade in her class ( D ) mostly because I refuse to go to her tutoring all because I can't stand her personality. She complains when a student raises their hand for help and she talks like she controls us. She pressures us to get things that some people can't afford and she keeps rubbing it in our faces when some students have this required item . She just really gets on my nerves. I wish we had a different teacher - a teacher like you. You are really good at teaching and you are so understandable! You don't rush and you keep your students happy and it seems like so much fun to learn. Sigh...I'm going to struggle this year. I hope your videos will help me :) .

    10:10 evan though solutions are 3,-5 you still don't know the value of a.
    what makes you think that the value of a is 1?

    • @jayachelliah4067
      @jayachelliah4067 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      How did the solution be determined as 3, -5 without and reasons to justify???

      Lets look at the equation:
      y=x²+2x-15
      Do you see a number in front of x in x²? No you don't, so anytime you don't see a value in front of the x² it'll always be 1 and doesn't need to be written

    my question will be why did x-1 become positive 1 and x+3 become negative 3? Pray you can get back to me ASAP I have a college placement test tomorrow and I am super duper nervous. I haven't attended school in 4 years so I'm a bit rusty. :(

    • @akmalhakim286

      bcs when -1 shifted place over the equal sign, it changed the negativity to positive same happens to the 3. How the last year exam?
