    Hi Tom
    i am a lx570 owner and it was sooo refreshing to read a honest unbiased opinion.First time i have watched you. I do prefer the sit tailgate and but i mainly tow van with ours and i think its superior tower then 200 ser because of a few features self levelling suspension best one. We love the car and as i am 75 dont know if i could justify a new one at my age but just might start buying lotto tickets cheers and keep up the no bull reports was a pleasure to watch Peter

    like most vehicles these days, you'll need to pay a surplus on price and waiting period will be 6-12 months. Not the best time to buy any car. Even second hand car prices are over the roof.

    You mentioned that there is limited competition for this. I think there are a number of landrover models that are very competitive . Eg the Duscovery HSE, range rover sport.
    These offer better fuel economy, better handling, better towing capability.

    • @GR8Tmate
      @GR8Tmate ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Whilst I partially agree with you about this, the fact is those vehicles you mention just cannot compete with Lexus when it comes to Longevity. There’s a certain group of Lexus LX owners who keep their cars for longer than the 3-5 years & I simply wouldn’t be caught with any of the vehicles you mention after their warranty periods cease. The build quality of the Lexus is probably slightly higher as well, whilst it may not compete
      As well on the points that you raise.

XY GT Electric Blue or some other 70`s Muscle car Sporty colour for the Sport... I wonder how much extra that would be and how much extra for them to paint it a custom colour and how much not paint any other cars the colour I select.

    Having owned a Lexus previously, I was excited when the LX500d was released.
    But It is now extremely poor value for money, which you couldn't say about the LX450d.
    To get similar features from the L300 Sahara ZX you need to get to F Sport or Sport Luxury spec. A very big jump in price!
    Lexus for me has always been about value for money (relatively) compared to the competition, this is no longer the case.
    IMHO the entry level model should come with features that are standard on the the LC300, not part of an enhancement pack.
    I have opted for a LC300 Sahara ZX, better value for money overall.
