And then restore is successfull but the step 3 can not be passed. I try this on a Nova 9, with EMUI 12. Do you know what the problem could be?

Thanks for the detailed video. I ran into a problem. The SIM card became disabled after several attempts to install GMS on my Huawei P50Pro with Kirin processor. Harmony OS 2. Bought from China Mainland. I had no problem installing the GMS, but alerts are constantly beeping for the "Google Play protect certified" pop-up message. I followed all of the instruction videos to solve that problem, and in the end, the phone lost its cellular signal. Even the Huawei store had no solution. I tried it in Thailand, Qatar, and Canada, and none worked. I then concluded it was not SIM card lock from telecom operators. I tried to turn off "Developer Mode" but didn't know how. Resetting the whole phone didn't help either. It was only when OS 3 got installed, then the problem disappeared and I could now at least use my phone. I do see you have a new video on how to install GMS on OS 3, but I am afraid the same problem happens and I have to wait for OS 4 to avoid turning the phone into a waste. I wonder if you have any suggestions or advice. I'd really appreciate it.

And every time the same result: after uninstalling MicroG and installing Google Play Services, there is no Google item in Settings, no Google accounts (although there were MicroG accounts) and the Play Market asks to enter. I have a Chinese market Mate 30 Pro 5G which I received years ago with the Google suite already put on it. It's updated itself over the years to Harmony OS 2.0.0. I stupidly reset the phone and lost it all and can't get anything to work now with regard to GMS. In this tutorial, I'm unable to get the ID number to show up in huagu_adb. I've tried all kinds of adb driver combos/tools to delete old adb drivers, and as a side note I can connect fine with HiSuite in developer mode, downgrade to EMUI 11 if I want, etc. I've uninstalled HiSuite too, but no difference. I never see the good connection in huagu adb app so therefore cannot continue with this tutorial.

Technically you are not flashing Huawei boot loader is locked.
Play Store, Google Maps & others work great. But Chrome can't sync google account and Gboard, which I used most for typing can't be used.

Harmony Version 2.0.1 - P50 Purchased today Sept 13th 2022 and none of your methods work...this method, i can't get it to back up successfully (step 3)....the other method using googlefier, when i get to microG step, it can't detect a connection to internet...I am in China and I'm basically about to give up...should never have bought this phone....I was thinking there must be a work around...lol

I have a Chinese market Mate 30 Pro 5G which I received years ago with the Google suite already put on it. It's updated itself over the years to Harmony OS 2.0.0. I stupidly reset the phone and lost it all and can't get anything to work now with regard to GMS. In this tutorial, I'm unable to get the ID number to show up in huagu_adb. I've tried all kinds of adb driver combos/tools to delete old adb drivers, and as a side note I can connect fine with HiSuite in developer mode, downgrade to EMUI 11 if I want, etc. I've uninstalled HiSuite too, but no difference. I never see the good connection in huagu adb app so therefore cannot continue with this tutorial.
