Treasure is the group that got me into kpop and saved me from the pandemic. And I tell you that I still cry whenever I listen to Going Crazy. lmao, asahi is both the quietest and wildest member in treasure. apparently he used to be 97% introverted, but after like 1-2 years with treasure and becoming more comfortable on their variety show treasure map, he said he became more extroverted.

Not to be exaggerated, Treasure was one of my life saver when I had the hard times in 2019. They haven't debut but when I watched ygtb production I was like I need to stan them. Then Going Crazy released in early 2020 when the Pandemic started, as well as TMAP S1, really the show entertained me so much. That's why it's hard to forget abt them cuz they were one of the reason I still fight for my life and continue to cherish, happy and thankful for everything. Treasure is the legendary group for me. Until now, whenever I feel tough and not having a good day, they're my pills and my mood booster 💓

I only intentionally listened to an OT12 song once since MashiDam's departure bec my chest hurts and I begin to tear up every time I hear their voices. I never imagined myself being attached to a celebrity to the point of crying. IDK if I regretted this decision to watch this with you but I'm just happy that a lot of people still support them despite the members leaving.
You are correct - their music is everything. I was in depression for the past 2 years; watching and hearing them again as 12 reminds me of how they made me happy during tough times. I'm looking forward to seeing them more grow in the future.

Seeing mashi and yedam again makes me cry too and remembering their journey from treasure box as they separated ways from treasure is really hard for teumes. Loved your reaction!! it's still so painful to go back to their old stuffs bcs i'm continuously reminded that mashi and yedam are not with them anymore. i havent listened to their old stuffs for the past months bcs its hard.
Treasure is one of the most tight-knit groups I’ve come across, they have been through a lot of crap and shit together from group restructuring to having their debut get pushed back a lot of times. Treasure also has one of the craziest and wildest group histories out there with TREASURE BOX being a fvcking roller coaster ride of emotion, get ready to cry a shit tone if any of you ever decide to watch the show.
The group at first was supposed to be a generic 7 member group and they had announced a lineup of 7 members by the end of their survival show, the lineup was(Hyunsuk, Junkyu, Jaehyuk, Yedam, Jeongwoo, Haruto and Junghwan) but the lineup received a lot of backlash from the general public for having Jaehyuk and Junghwan in the lineup considering they weren’t trainees for that long, Jaehyuk with just mere months of training(excluding the fact that he was absolutely amazing) and crowd favourite Mashiho was not in the final lineup considering he had performed so well in the show.
So YG then decided to debut another group called Magnum consisting of Jihoon, Yoshi, Yoonbin, Mashiho, Asahi and Doyoung and they had kind of like the NCT situation in mind where both of the these groups would promote separately as subunits and occasionally would come together and promote as Treasure 13, but unfortunately Yoonbin decided to leave YG stating that his musical preferences weren’t aligning with the sound YG had in mind for Magnum and Treasure, so they just dumped this idea all together and decided to debut Treasure with 12 members but even after then their debut date kept getting pushed back because of YG getting involved in some legal drama. It took them a year and a half after the 7 member lineup was announced to debut.
They are such a fun group to experience, with 12 totally different personalities in one room. They are so talented p.s. Asahi drew the title poster for Orange as well.

I was one of the few teumes that did not find Treasure through treasure box, nor from their official debut or comebacks afterwards. I found them with “Going Crazy” and instantly stanned. It’s nice seeing newer fans find this gem 🥰
Going crazy is such a meaningful song for them, and for teumes. It's the song that they performed in the show YG TREASURE BOX. That song were performed by other participants too, only the winners had the possibility to perform it.
I always get emotional when I hear it , and now it's more touching because I miss mashiho and yedam too... I love your reaction , you will love them SO MUCH

I'm a fan of Black Clover anime and that anime introduced me to Treasure, because their song "Beautiful" was one of the ending song of Black Clover. I feel like treasure isn't the same treasure without Yedam and mashiho but still support them. I miss them tbh i fee like we have much yet to see from them. Mashiho is multi talented just like yedam his calm voice and I am still in love with his half moon cover wow he's also good cook for treasure and he can play every sport and do stunt. Yedam voice is unique his forte is rnb but he can own every genre. They have been trained the longest for 7 years. I feel like ygtb and YG project is to find friend for Yedam to debut. He's like RM of BTS, B.I. of ikon, bang Chan of skz that one trainee who has been there all along from start and teach other trainees the basic and the group is formed around them, the only difference is he's not the leaders I mean he is young and too much on his plate since everyone has high expectations on him but we know he can lead when he make music he guide and encourage his members and fairly give them lines. Yedam has already known before treasure in Korea and he's the face of the group I know haruto is famous and hyunsuk is YG to the bone but treasure might not even happen if it's not for Yedam but a different type of group. He was with noa, resung and junkyu the og silver boys then he come to debut in treasure he loved music since he was a young kid and he's not just an idol but an artist I feel sad when they left YG and treasure just like that. I'm not sure if you would be willing to but Treasure has two web dramas: "It's okay, that's friendship" (about 20 minutes) and "Mysterious class" (8 episodes, each episode about 15 minutes)- I just think it would be really really fun to see your reaction on those. They are actually very well-produced mini-shows.
I think a lot of OG Tuemes have a really soft spot for Going Crazy. It was like the signal song on Treasure Box and the people who were in the debut/winning/lead/whatever group each round of the live stages performed it for opening. So basically if you got to do Going Crazy on the live stage you were in the debut group that round. So it was the goal, and with it being such an earworm by the end of the show everyone knew the song. I didn't even watch the show while it aired (thank god because the shenanigans would've broke my heart) but I still have a soft spot for it.
And the fact that Hyunsuk and Yeonjun from TXT are both Daniel Choi is something that makes the absolute most sense. Same level of menace to fans. 😂
I love their selfie versions and really creative videos like these. something I really like about them is that yes, they're super professional, gorgeous vocals, awesome rap, absolute bops of title tracks, and crazy synchronised, BUT even with all that they still manage to keep it fun. Their lives stages for award shows have that really hyped energy, and party vibe (the YG effect?) which is so nice to see coming back. Their energy is really contagious.

I have noticed that he’s been trying to come out of his shell though because when he was on YG Treasure Box he was 12-13 and then debuted and went to school during the pandemic, so there just wasn’t many opportunities for him to experience as many social situations that we usually experience in that age range.

Going Crazy is such a happy song but watching this now is activating sadness 🥲 this was their signal song for Treasure Box, and this song was literally a living witness to their journey. I can't listen to this without hearing Yedam and Mashi's voice anymore, especially Yedam's. He sang the guide vocals for this one, and he was constantly singing this throughout the survival show as he was part of Treasure 7, Treasure 6, Treasure 5, till it became TREASURE's pre-debut song. Gahd, how I miss them both. 😭
But still, as they say 10 in our eyes, 12 in our hearts 💙
And yes, TREASURE live stages are definitely on a different level.
