I love your reaction videos to the legend of korra. I wanted to share some theories about zaheers quotes in the first episode of season which briefly explained two characters, zaheer and bolin which will be very confusing. The references or easter eggs from ATLA are one of the most exciting things to see from reactors! It doesn't' take anything away from the series... I can't imagine who would complain about you guys getting excited about that
ATLA is the heart & soul of the Avatar universe. References to it are inevitable. TLOK has a ton of ATLA easter eggs and cameos, so the writters clearly wanted that connection between the two shows
The fight sequence between the red lotus and Zoafu and Team Avatar is one of the coolest scenes in all of Avatar IMO. Such a good scene, seeing these average people managing to pull out a win against 3 master prodigies in bending and an already dangerous Zaheer with added airbending.
Mako & Bolin are borderline prodigies themselves. They are very talented and crafty benders and when fighting side by side tag teaming some one or a group they are pretty much one person with the ability of fire and earth because they are so in sync and a good duo.
There's nothing wrong with enjoying this series and relaying it back with ATLA. That's like half of the content on the ATLA subreddit lol. Yall keep doing what you're doing.
Yeah, lavabending is a thing but it was (as far as I remember) pretty much Avatar-exclusive. Roku used it while fighting the volcano and Kyoshi used it to split the land and created the Kyoshi Island. Now, just as the knowledge of metalbending and lightningbending has spread, so has it of lavabending but it's absurdly rare. We know that waterbenders can freeze and boil water. We learned from Tenzin one or two episodes before that airbenders can keep themselves warm by warming up the air around them. Now we know (or at least have confirmed) that earthbenders can pretty much heat up the earth so much it melts. Some people say that it's a stretch but if you compare to the other elements, there's nothing out of place there. (Also, if you consider lightning as plasma, firebenders can pretty much bend "hotter fire")
Also taking away other benders powers was only thought to be a skill the Avatar could do until Amon, even if his method was not entirely the same as what Aang did by bending the energies within the person (Amon seem to figure out how to block or close off benders chi like a permanent chi block but was it was thankfully reversible).

4:10 Combustion bending is a whole bag of worms that doesn't really get explained in the main series. The art of forging a firebender into a combustion person is nothing short of torture. Basically many years before even Avatar, I believe it was back in Kyosshi's time, but it might have been further back, the currant Earth ruler wanted to protect shipping routes from pirates and other outside interference. They wanted a private elite army of superweapons. After a brief look at the four bending disciplines they chose fire as best suited for the role. They 'obtained' a large number of Firebenders, through very questionable means, and began experimenting on them to unlock their hidden potential. A huge percentage of those who underwent this "training" died in the process, well over 50% of them. The process was to torture people until their sense of self left their body, allowing them to bend psychically. The existence of Sparky Sparky Boom Man, and now this one, proves that the practice is still being done somewhere by someone.
I just realized that whenever good guys are sneaking into bad guys' cities, they face like 10,000 guards before facing the main enemies, and more guards always rush in to help. Whereas when bad guys enter a good guy city, there's literally no guards helping. ever. 🤭 The good guys are often expecting the trouble too, like in this episode they expected bounty hunters, earlier they expected the prison break at the ice prison, yet in this fight and the ice prison, we have the leaders of the cities/nations fighting alone and unaided by the people they command. @@lucasbrunoz well it's weird to me that fire in avatar almost never burns people but pushes them back and can even work as a solid defence. there's no answer to such things
Metal bending is something only 1 in 100 earth benders can do, I don't think it's a simple as just learning how to do it although that's a start I think it has something to do with some just don't have the gene for it or something similar to that. I maybe completely wrong but it seems like some just can't do it, might be a weird comparison but I remember watching a program on genetic mutations that cause a person to have half of the normal lactic acid build up in the body like Michael Phelps so they have less physical fatigue making them better athletes. The documentary also featured a person part of a study being done that was a long distance runner who had the same genetic mutation. Just my theory but I think it's a combination of having the right gene and skill set to be able to do advanced bending like metal bending which isn't a common skill but isn't super rare either like how most common in the real world is Brown eyes 45% of the population but less common at 27% have Blue eyes which is less common but not rare. And someone having skill sets like P'Li with being able to explode things or Ghazan with lava bending is like having Heterochromia (2 different eye colors) which is extremely rare only 1% of the human population.

I don’t know who’s crying about you guys looking out for references to ATLA but they need to get over it. It’s cool seeing the references and how they correlate to the original show. Just like if there was a new series, there would be references to both these shows
Spartan & Pudgey Awesome Video/Episode Today!!🔥🐐🐐🙏
One of my fav episodes
Wait sue was known to be involved with benders getting into trouble, shes been friends with this metal bender thats been working with them for years, what if sue is tied into this as well?
(Watching this for the first time with you guys)
Top chapters of the entire saga
They’re a couple right? They’re so cuuuute together 😂
Spartan was right about the look
Korra does not need help with metal bending
Spartan. You should be greatful pudgey is giving you free english lessons, cause trust me you need them 😂
There’s two books covering Yangchens time as avatar. In that book they cover the special firebenders a little. The books are really good in my opinion to listen to the comics are meh.
"Entirety" is a perfectly cromulent word; Pudgey is 100% wrong on this one!
Suyin can't do anything right pt. 4

guys pls find a way to make the scenes bigger. i keep watching with the screen zoomed in to get the most out of ur reactions and the scenes. Im aware ur supposed to watch the episodes on ur own. And there's patreon for uncut reactions. But some utubers manage to make the scenes really big without copyright being a problem.
Huh? You know that you are supposed to watch it on your own?
@maximilianhartmann4807 i think ur referring to their patreon uncut vids, where u have to sync up the ep and their reaction.
Im referring to their regular utube reaction vids, the scenes from the episode are too small compared to other reactors.
This is a reaction video though. You have to watch the series on your own. Also you can't edit it like you actually want because of the strict copyright policy on TH-cam.
you're... you're not supposed to be watching the little box, you know that right? you're supposed to have watched it before, and watch their reaction to the parts you already know.
@kweeniepiez yeah obviously, i meant other channels like bad medicine manage to make the scenes larger which makes the overall reaction vids more enjoyable.
W vid keep grinding love ya
God. u guysss are so cuteeee the EnNTIRE Ttimmeeee
Man Spartan really is the simplest of guys: big flashes, loud noise and alot of action and he's losing it. And ever the Mako fanboy.
Not to mention that he doesn't seem to appreciate (especially male) characters who aren't all jacked, tough as nails and al round badasses, but bring other qualities to the table; like brains. Something he seems to lack a bit...
I love y’all
Su have what? A needles?? shaid!? what...i cannot hear
Have y'all considered starting your One Piece journey yet?
maybe soon..if schedule allows. we'll see!
