Moro!

Tulin btw juuri kentältä, on kyllä nautinnollinen laji!

As usual, this is really good stuff! We have been playing padel for three or four years now, but can see in this demonstration exactly how we initially played, and how your comments summarise the instruction and coaching which has moved the game on for us. Watching here, you can see clearly why that positioning is key....and why being caught in ‘no mans land’ is so embarrassing (still occasionally happens)! We thoroughly enjoy your coaching videos, thanks for posting them! Hopefully, here on Fuerteventura, we will be back on court in another week or so....!

Great content and easy to take in pointers which makes it greatly educational! And also props to the guys "daring" to share the video :) Most people are not in for a treat by filming themselves (we've done it a couple of times and dear god is it far from how you expect!) and I guess one of the main reason for that is because of improper foot work and shot preparation as you point out here.

Mattias - if they are going for an aggressive smash. At this level I'd suggest both running forward. At a higher level, one stays back incase it is a fake smash. But usually the person on the left side is better positioned to run forward in this case. But that obviously depends on the point and where the players are...that make sense?

Late to the party but I just discovered Padle. I love this type of content! As newbie I found it a bit hard to follow the analysis, though. I think some editing changes could have helped me:
Name the players and highlight the hot spots more in the scenes.
Or maybe less examples but a slower and more detailed analysis with some replays and more visualized fixes for the mistakes.
I also didn’t know the shot names when I watched first. Maybe add a title with the explanation. Then you save some seconds and can just call them by name.
    Liked & subscribed! 👍

    Really good video!
One thing that I think would help even more is if you in the video also show short clip of how it should look instead of just telling us.I think myself and others that is on a low level would benefit more if you show the correct way just after so we can compere and see the difference. Once again good video :)

Great Video! Low level anaylisis is very helpful. Would it be possible to make it easier and point out on the video who are you talking about? and what they shouldve done to beat their openents. Thank you!

      @ThePadelSchool  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Good suggestion, I have started adding an arrow in recent analysis to make it easier to see which player I am talking about!

Great video, learned a lot :D
It would help if you'd add a conclusion with all the pointers per category at the end of each video.

Yes, this is one of my earliest analysis videos, I hope they are getting better as we go! Let me know: th-cam.com/video/vSIjDpzquD4/w-d-xo.html

Yesterday, coming home from a small scale padel tournament, I searched for padel clips.
The title of this one seemed interesting - and when I started watching, it turned out that the clip is from the very padel place where I had played an hour earlier. (I actually did some warming up alone on the court in the clip.)
Not the most dramatic story, I guess, but a bit of a funny coincidence.

Jao Lin this looked like a really cool indoor club! One day I hope I get the chance to visit! 👍

@@ThePadelSchool Yes, it is. (Padelpark in Turku, btw, for those who don't know). It has seven courts now, and a good atmosphere. I'm new to the sport (started playing in the spring with some friends), but I played a fair amount of tennis and table-tennis waaay back (mostly 20-35 years ago), so I have held a racket before.
I am really hooked on padel, as everyone who tries the sport seem to be, so I'm eager to learn & play. This is a great channel for that.

Btw, Padelpark has a few outdoor courts around town also. Here two of them are opened, with our local tennis hero Jarkko Nieminen (highest singles ranking #13 in the world) joining in (in the bandana)! th-cam.com/video/iBDQnn1QS4c/w-d-xo.html
