Maybe this was already commented, but the rule says that you have to have at least ONE foot on the ground when impacting the ball, is not mandatory to have both feet touching the ground, 4:02
Many of the beginners and the Advanced Players in germany dont know where the play the serve or where to stay in Position. Great Guide Sven! Cant wait to get on court again and teach a New created serve lesson! Vamosssss!
Hey Swen! Got a couple of questions about the very basics 1. Do we hold a racket like for the volley? Forming 90° with our arm? Do I have to fix it like this for the whole movement? 2. Where should I have my eyes on? For example: should I take a short look at the target before releasing the ball, and after release, do I watch the ball being hit by a racket? Thank you!
Well, It depends tbh. Its not as “fixed” as something like the smash. I guess bended helps. You should watch the ball and then the contact point, than the other side of the net
Hi, what do you think is the best way to receive the serve deep to the side glass? Making steps back deep to the backglass or stepping in and half volleying right after the glass? Also what is your usual choice where to play on receiving this service? Thanks
I play a bit of tennis and played this padel game the other day for the first time. I saw a lot of people serving as above but you can get relatively few aces doing this. I found a much more successful technique was to stand deep and hit a hard topspin first serve. This allows way way more speed to be generated. I served a number of games to love doing this and can't understand why it's not done more? Then if you miss this, then go back to the more safe serve outlined in this video for the second serve. Seems strange
@@OtroNivelPadel so it should be 'I'm here and boom boom boom ... Foot fault " 😁 . Thanks for clarifying. I thought that maybe the ball on the line was allowed. And BTW great video !!!!
I'm a very new player, playing for less than 3 months now and some of the friends I play with keep saying that my serve goes very fast because I'm serving way above the waist line, which I don't believe I'm doing, I'm not even making the ball bounce that high. Is there an easy way to determine when the serve is valid or not? Thanks in advance
Hi, one question about the serve. Let's say my waist height is 90cm. Is it illegal if I bounce the ball at 85cm but when I hit the ball I'm hunched (or crouched) so at the time when I hit the ball my waist is quite lower (lets exaggerate that my waist is at 60cm (crunched) , and the ball is at my lung height, this is what my colleague says need to film it) :D. Is this legal serve or not?
@@OtroNivelPadel Ja kan me voorstellen.

Best serve tutorial I've ever seen, a complete one finally! Excellent!
Thank you!
100%, been playing over a year now and I learned loads..and I'm only half way through 😁

A lot to do than 💪🏼💪🏼
Dankjewel! Namens mij en Sas💪🏼
4:05 Both feet should b on the ground when hitting the ball?
I wish u can make a video of the confusing rules of the serve and receiving.
I think so, but I will check that in the future with a referee
@@OtroNivelPadel I checked. 1 foot is enough.
Really great video thanks! Just started playing and lots in here.
Thank!
Mathijs has to grab racket with left hand to create tension in the backhand volley. Will inprove his power and position.

Nice tips as usual!
I Need to work on my serve because I hit from low to high too many times :/
Thanks man! Try to start higher and stop earlier

If your opponent knows how to use the glass the topspin serve is completely useless
Ive learned so much from this video. thank you. What is that Rachet EL REV ??
El rey
Good explanation and clear with practical examples.... thank you.
Thank you
very informative, tnx!
Thank you!
Thanks Mate .. Just what I needed ...
Great to hear amigo!
on 3:55 the ball hits the line before the serve and he's touching the line with his foot. Is that allowed ? Do a replay at 0.25 and you will see.
No its not allowed!

If the ball touches the next, bounces in the receivers box and then the door. Is that a fault or a let? 😮
Depends if you play with Salida. If you play with going out of the court it would be a let. If not, out
Super helpful! Graciaaasss!
Thank you!

Not on the planning yet 😅

Is this legal serve or not?
Well thats why you should make yourself taller when serving
@@OtroNivelPadel So this way is illegal?
Yes, your waist decides everytime. No matter if you are crunched or on your toes
Excelent 👍👌🙏🙏🙏
🙏🏼 thanks
You like el jefe or el rey? differences between the 2 rackets? Power control and and handling?
I prefer the El Jefe. Because its softer and feel like I have more control :)
How many steps can the server make BEFORE striking the ball?
I am not sure, its in the FIP padel rules somewhere. You can see that online
Is the ball allowed to touch the white lines on the serve?
Yes!
@@OtroNivelPadel So as long the ball touches the white line its still in?
Eigenlijk altijd continental greep.
Great Swen Andiamo!!!!
Andiamoss

Great video, thank you! Paquito sometimes plays a backhand serve, why does he do that?
To make the angle to the sidewall
Can you make a video why am i hitting the net every time in my first serve 😂
I don’t know why you hit the net
@@OtroNivelPadel I do, he's hitting it too low 🤷♂😁
