The international rules précise that the server can’t run or jump while serving. Only a foot movement is allowed. CAN you explain this rule ? Thank you
Hallo pablo i have a question in returning the ball. Is it allowed to return the ball by hiting the back and the side glass at the same time; i mean playing the back glass and somehow the ball touch the side glass and goes to the other side. I havent see any video of this kind of shot so i think is ilegal but my friend says that is legal.
It’s legal, and the reason you have never seen a video about the shot is because it’s almost never an effective shot and it’s very difficult. I can’t imagine a scenario where anyone would go for that shot.
@@axelkialt the think is i have read the padel rules and there is not rule that mention clearly that hitting the ball twice the glass is considered legal also i havent see in youtube somebody to show or explain if is that legal or not by any luck so i am not sure about that.
Actually the last one is not true. A first serve can only appear if you hit the net and did a legal serve after the ball touched the net (excluding stuff that can interfere the game). So if you have a serve that would be called into a let aka "1st serve" and the ball didn't touch the net it is in fact a legal serve. it's the same as if you did a lob serve and the ball goes out of the court without touching anything besides the ground. Thats also a legal serve.
If you serve below the waist, a high lob that bounces within the service box and then bounces over the x3 glass, is that a valid point for service team?
Do you mean foot fault? Lebron always make faults when he serves but referees don’t have the personality to rule it. If they start applying the game rules he would have to change his technique
Thank you for some new way to tink about the serve ! Keep it up
Great explanation about the serve! Thank you for this! Sometimes, a lot of doubt around this topic!
Thak you. I needed that explanation about the bounce rule from 4:07
You can bounce wherever you want the ball until the last bounce before your serve: that need to be within your service area
Very interesting
Hi Pablo, your explanation on 4:50 I don't understand at all, there is no rule which makes that serve illegal, is there?
That serve is legal (but never a winner) if the outside play is allowed, if not, is second serve!
Maybe you can try and explain in another way? Because if it is legal (second bounce outside the court) why can it never be a winner?
@@ferriegeenjaar4596 it means it can't be winner, but you will get to repeat first serve again instead of having a second serve
@@iceman58796 thanks that explains it!

Yes! It's legal but makes no sense because the many rebounds the ball does the less speed it will get
@@the4Set thanks for your answer pablo make a video about that you will be first in youtube to explain that.👍🙂
What about Rule 6.6: “A player may not walk, run or jump while serving”. When is that te case and illegal?

when im serving, i bounce the ball on my side (left), but 1 foot stepping on the other side (right) when hitting the ball. fault?
Fault! Your foot can not stepping on the other side (but it can be on the air)

Yes
Yes! But the outside play need to be allowed
Spanish please. Español por favor 🙏🏼
Si sale por la puerta es mala, pero si lo haces con globo y sale por 3 es buena? 😅
Sí 😂😂

Better you do it not in English...
Jaja. It s like Nadal speaking English. Hard to understand...
