Thank you for all your help , I love the visuals you give ! You explain it very well and also add Funny comments! Keep up the good work! I drove for Ups for 20 years in Sarasota than left otr with Prime Inc. but my trainers basically just had me drive . Iam with Publix distribution now and I’ll be driving soon , so this is helping me out a lot ! Thanks again! Ron R
My hurdle to the CDL! Actually it is parallel parking in your game, offset and parallel parking are similar and I get them mixed up. In practice I can do it on the range (parallel parking to the passenger side) but come test day my nerves get to me! This is the hardest game I have installed on my PC right now lol ... 😿. Grind time!
idk why backing is so difficult for me. I just got my CDL a month and a half ago, been working at this job for about a month. And i still have so much trouble trying to maneuver. I got the simulator to try to practice.
Great video on explaining how it works, can you make a video for travel trailer? I think the basic idea should be the same, but the trailer is shorter, would be some difference in handling
Why do it blindside? on your pull ahead, turn left ,right, left. and you're set up to back right in with no blind siding. Always best to set up to use the driver's side mirror. Hope this helps.
Perhaps it's because when you go for your CDL-A there is no way you can predict whether they will give you an offset right or an offset left. Also, are there not real life situations where you wont have a choice?
You wouldn't go too crazy if you didn't keep that angle it would be a learning process or whatever for a new driver. In other words you didn't want to keep going more than the angle you had
It's perfect the way it is. The truck needs to always point forward because that's the way it is in the real world. when you steer, the world revolves around you and the truck. I've played other games where the ground is stationary, and it just gets confusing trying to figure out which way to steer when the truck is not pointing straight up.
Awesome instruction! You truly have the heart of a teacher!

Man, these maneuvers are a LOT easier with a bird's eye view

I was wondering what his reasoning is for not doing it this way also.

@@halyoung388 if there is a wall to the opposite side you wouldn't have an option to cut past the space.

If DMV ask you to start next to a curb then ignore that request and be at least three feet away otherwise you will be stuck and likely fail.
Thanks for what u do very helpful

You should not move/rotate the screen. The screen (floor) must be static and just move the truck
