Amazing roadtrip snorkel with Sea Lions | Cervantes to Jurien Bay | Breakfast on the beach

A 40 minute boat ride from Jurien Bay is Fisherman Islands Nature Reserve. Protected as part of the Jurien Bay Marine Park, it offers sanctuary for the Australian Sea Lions. A place to breed and rest.
Turquoise Safaris Sea Lion Tours took a group of us out for the day to both view and swim with these beautiful creatures. It was a windy day but being protected by an outer reef, it was calm with clear water.

Love the channel and content mate! Live in perth also and explore similar spots. I notice you use a weighted belt for snorkelling. Next on my list also to be a bit smoother in the water with the camera. Any tips? What amount of weight do you use for yourself?

Cheers. Weights change depending on the wetsuit size/thinkness, as wetsuits make you more buoyant. Lots of info online about correct weights. I tend to have mine a little heavier than I should as it keeps me steady when laying on the bottom filming. Often two hands on the camera help with the shakes...
