Thank you, I'm psychotic and often struggle to differentiate between tv and reality and your comment really helped me stay on the level. I have to go out killing now, bye, speak soon.
Don't assume anyone's faith. Dallas has said that "quite a few" of them have accepted Christ since working on the show. Dallas is a very strong evangelical Christian, as are many others I've seen discuss their faith. God can use those people to influence everyone on that set at any time. I have noticed changes in a lot of them in the way they respond in interviews- they may just not feel comfortable discussing it publicly. A person's faith can change in a heartbeat.
That’s very true! Jesus can call us in a heartbeat! It may seem in a heartbeat to us but He had predestined us to be His own since the creation of the world. What our finite mind cannot conceive, Jesus planned from the beginning but will happen at a point in time for us, even most unexpectedly or unceremeniously at times.
Yes, but Dallas has done some pretty awful, shifty things all for the love of money and control. And that isn’t cool. This was a crowd sourced project. We were not supposed to have to pay for this other than if we contributed to the crowd sourcing venture. These programs were supposed to be put on an app that anyone could download and watch anywhere in the world and in their own language. If churches wanted to stream the programs using the app to create a theater like setting, they could do that. They weren’t supposed to charge any money, but the idea was that local churches would be doing that instead of movie theaters. Dallas Jenkins wasn’t supposed to start a separate company and he wasn’t supposed to be making millions off of something already bought and paid for. He kind of swindled the original creators out of that; and claiming they had the right to distribute and make money off of other platforms, including for fee streaming services or in theater via Fantom. Just in the opening weekend of distributing those first three episodes in the theater, they made over $40 million! It makes me so angry that they are showing a few episodes for $14 a pop at the theater in my town. They know they have a fan base so they can release it early and people will pay. There have now been three different showings that have come out of this latest season. I will not go to it, but my mother and two sisters do. When I think that they have now spent $126 total - $42 each - to watch something kind-hearted people contributed to so it could be freely given - LIKE THE GOSPEL - it really angers me. I think it angers Jesus, too. You know, so let’s say they just wanted to distributed in theaters because they thought more people would see it. That’s kind of a dumb assumption, but let’s pretend that. They still chose to charge $14 for each ticket! It didn’t cost that much to distribute. If they had done this on a nonprofit basis, it would still be bad, but not as blatantly awful. Anyhow, to read about people praising Dallas Jenkins as he can do no wrong bothers me immensely. There are a lot of people in the church who just know how to market themselves but then they do really crummy things behind the scenes.
@@toritori5835I don't get the complaint. Like if you want to watch something early pay for it or be patient and wait until it comes out for free . Its not scummy whatsoever. What you want is unrealistic. Early seasons had no problems like this because not much was done in them but as it gets further it gets bigger and bigger and more expensive unless you want the show to look bad. I would not be surprised if Dallas realized that he does not have enough money when the walking on water scene happened and that was just one scene. 14 dollars is not much.

Now my dear chap, where in the Bible can you find that? Nothing against our black or black American brothers and sisters, there are indeed some very fine Christians in their ranks. But Jesus is no more black or African than he is Swiss or German or "Wasp" American. And even if he weren't the Messiah (but he is) how comes Cesare Borgia into it?
@santa_claus-north_pole : I think any THINKING, person should agree that it sounds ludicrous to think that Yeshua was praying to Himself, and considering Himself both Father and Son. Yeshua was/is a Son of God in much the same way as we are sons and daughters of our Earthly parents. Also meaning that we are ALL, Sons and Daughters of God as well, which is something else, He tried to get people to understand but they never grasped even, to this day, sadly and shamefully. The Holy Spirit is an enigma to say the least, and something I wish I understood better myself. Not sure if Jewish belief had this concept or anything like it or not. My Best. Out.
I pray for that to happen. It’s hard for me to believe that conversions would not occur. At least the seed is planted so they question. Let’s pray they are showered with the grace of the Holy Spirit
Im Catholic and my fam is Catholic and Evangelical.. I trully thank God for this show bc it has helped strengthen my faith thru a very rough time Im goin thru right now. Knowing Jesus is by my side and and what he did for us gives me peace and hope. God is in control and he never fails us💕🕊️
I am Pentecostal myself, and I have Catholic family members. Two are devout, but the other two have fallen away from the Lord. Please pray for them. I guess you could say that I was sort of Catholic for a few months but never fully initiated. But still view us all as one body in Christ.
@@daguroswaldson257 Yes. We’re all Christians and all that matters is having Jesus as our Lord and Savior. God is love and is the only one who can judge.
Repent and trust in Jesus. He's the only way to Heaven. We've all sinned and deserve Hell. Sins like lying, lusting, etc. Repent and trust only in Jesus, and you will be saved! You can be saved because he took the punishment for our sins on himself when he died on the cross, just like someone can pay your speeding fine in court, and you get off free. Romans 3:23 John 3:16

A little bit related, in Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ, an atheist name Luca Lionello who played Judas Iscariot, he converted to Catholic after his experience in the film itself. It was heavy.
I kind of think it's beautiful that non-Christian followers are so talented that they are able to honor the spirit behind the show- regardless of their beliefs. That's glory to God.
I love this show so much! It is helping me excited about being a Christian again!! God Bless Dallas, the cast and crew, and anyone who has helped make and distribute this series!!
Jonathan Roumie is NOT A CHRISTIAN! To be Catholic or any other, does NOT MEAN they are Christian! A Christian is one who acknowledges they are a sinner and that ONLY CHRIST CAN SAVE US FROM THE WRATH OF GOD. To satisfy the wrath of God, JESUS died for all sinners! They must trust ONLY IN JESUS FOR THEIR SALVATION. JENKINS KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT EVANGELICALISM BECAUSE HE DOES NOT PRACTICE THE TEACHINGS OF THE BIBLE. HE GOES WHEREVER THE MONEY COMES FROM…AND THE FAME!
I don’t think we can say that about Roumie. I think only God gets to make that judgment call. When it comes to Jenkins, though, that is something a little easier to see. We know he made a separate company when he wasn’t supposed to and used it to swindle the original creators. We know that he is making millions ($40 million the first weekend alone of season 4) off a crowd sourced project THAT WAS ALREADY PAID FOR! We know that these programs were supposed to be free, that anyone the world over could download an app and stream it. It wasn’t supposed to be distributed on Amazon (or elsewhere), making money! We know that the reason they didn’t distribute in theaters is because they hoped churches would show it in a theater-like setting projecting from the app. They just weren’t supposed to charge money. That is why people contributed to the crowdsourcing campaign, *so that it could be free, just as the gospel is free!*
Dear Anastasia, you're right by saying everybody must trust in Christ for their salvation and let's hope the actors and everyone who is involved in this show (crew, cameraman, helpers, etc.) will see this. But we must also consider that there are many true believeers also in Catholic churches and many not so true in protestant or evangelical ones. About Jenkins we must see how he behaves as a Christian also away from the set, in his home and private live, etc. Before we know for sure we can't judge people. As for the money issue it's true the show is meant to be free, but that doesn't mean the production thereof is without costs Just consider all the settings they have to use and the participants have also to live on something. What's more the sets are to be translated (some even vocal) in as many languages as possible. I sincerely hope the crew doesn't do anything imprudent that will jeopardize the free streaming.@@anastasiaburr3959
@@toritori5835 The crowdsourced funds only paid for the first two seasons. They've had to figure out how to produce the show for five more seasons in a financially sustainable way. 48 million seems like a lot of money, but that's a shoestring budget for a production of this scope. A comparable Netflix show like Stranger Things costs 270 MILLION dollars per season. It's MIRACULOUS that The Chosen has the high level of production value it has, on a 48 million dollar budget.
@@anastasiaburr3959 please look into the history 🤦🏻♂️ evangelicalism has only been around maybe 200 years at most… it’s insane that you think it’s superior to Catholicism which has been around for thousands 😂 read the early church fathers. Read history. It’s all well documented. Catholics are Christians. You don’t get to say they aren’t just because they aren’t evangelical….
All of the not so religious cast are very open to the story, when you hear them talk they even recognize that the story is real and these were real people, that’s a win already
Regardless of that, I think it’s important that Dallas Jenkins come clean and do the right thing. This whole venture has been crowd sourced. Everyday people contributed money to the campaign so that it could be seen and distributed for free. It was supposed to be downloaded to an app so people could stream it for free. And it was designed so that churches could project it from that app so that if people wanted to see it in the theater like setting, they could do that. It was not supposed to be distributed to streaming services or to movie theaters so that Dallas Jenkins could make millions. For the first weekend of season four, he made $40 million off that release. It is insane that a person have to pay over $40 to see the three releases for Season 4 ($14 a pop at my local theater) when it is supposed to be free. And it was wrong that Dallas Jenkins created a separate company in order to get around the stipulations of the show being a non-profit venture. The gospel is not supposed to be a for profit enterprise. So that’s what this lawsuit is about. Jenkins said nothing to the original creators, Angel Studios about creating his own company and then claiming that that company could distribute the show. Of course, part of the reason he did that is because the original creators, Angel Studios is run by two Mormon men. And he knew that Evangelicals would have an issue with that. so that was his way of being able to claim that it is not a Mormon production, creating this separate company. He’s been incredibly dishonest, but putting on this face as though everything is on the up and up. It’s not right.
@@toritori5835 There are more complexities to this than what you are presenting. Non-profits cannot distribute royalties to members of the board without causing issues. The Not For Profit is there to allow for donations to be made to help continue to make this free. We are considering the same action so that we can donate our childrens's books. For the time being we are a for profit ministry, but the only reason we are for profit is so that we are not controlled by outside sources that coudl derail what we feel God is leading us to do. We are not out to make millions, but last I checked my mortgage company doesn't just let me stay in my house for free. Last I checked the studio and sound stage that was built, the camera operators, the actors, producers, distribtion house all have employees that need to eat, pay mortgage or rent.... Just because something is profitable doesn't mean that it isn't Gospel driven. It is still free. Our church is showing a few episodes this weekend, free of charge from the Chosen and free of charge to the viewers. No offering is being taken and no admission is being charged. You shoudl see if your church is offering it and if not they should look into it.
Thanks for the video. I believe that Alaa Safi (Simon Z) is also Muslim (or at least brought up as that). I think Abe (Big James) is Christian. Jordan (Little James) I think doesn’t have a faith (yet) and Noah James is a secular Jew. I don’t think he has a faith (yet). Kirk Waller (Gaius) is Christian. I could be wrong about these but thats what I’ve picked up in various videos.
I wonder if there will be any conversions after they prepare and film the crucifixion. Watching that happen and being right there, although a re-enactment, I imagine would be very powerful to connecting to what Christ went through for us.
I personally think nothing would be disrespectful in portraying the story of Jesus; instead, this shows the beauty and Jesus' act of love for us. It reminded me just like how it was written in the Bible, that He makes his sun rise and sends rain for everyone. As God works in a mysterious way, so who am I to judge? But what I do know is I feel really grateful for the show production as it helps me and has helped me along the way of my life as a Roman Catholic. So, I prefer to focus on how this impacted my life and hopefully yours too :) Jesus blesses and loves us all!❤ PS: I do really like your videos so much! Thank you for your kind effort!
Christian is reference a few times without the context that Catholics are also Christian. Anyone who believes in Jesus as the Son of God is a Christian. There are thousands of Christian denominations and among them are both Greek Orthodox and Roman Catholic.
Catholicism is different from Christianity. Anybody who believes that salvation comes by faith on Christ alone is a Christian, but believing that salvation comes from a specific denomination is not a Christian. Catholics are supposed to believe that only other Catholics are saved. This is not a correct interpretation. Saying "anyone who believes in Jesus as the Son of God" is misleading, it's "anyone who believes on the Lord Jesus Christ FOR THEIR SALVATION, the only way," is a Christian. It's not just that He's the Son of God, it's that He is the Christ, the Savior. Jesus deity is important, but Jesus said that not all who say to Him "Lord, Lord" will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. This proves that some will know that He is God, but that wasn't enough, because those people trusted in their own works rather than His perfect work. Matthew 7:21-23
Paras Patel is a Christian. Jonathan Roumie was Greek Orthodox which is one of the largest sects of Christianity in the world and now is he is part of the Roman Catholic Church. The Coptic Orthodox Church is Christian as well.
I'm evangelical Southern Baptist who is very interested in apologetics too. Personally, I don't think it matters what religion the cast members are since they should be hired based on if they can play the role as well as if they look the part (Romans should look more Roman, Israelis should look Israeli, etc. as well as around the correct age). God works in mysterious ways, so working on the show can lead people to Christ. Hopefully, that happens for everyone. It's happening to some viewers, so that's excellent.
luckdragongirl Do you have a problem with saying Jewish? The state of Israel didn’t happen till I think 1948 so it’s a bit anachronistic to use Israeli, just saying.
Growing up in the church... the Book of Mormon was more taught than the Bible... which I wished the Bible would have been more at focus than the Mormon book. @@rebeccabarton4236

It's really special to know that the actor who plays Jesus is an actual Roman Catholic! Also lovely and wholesome to know that a few of the actors have been converted to the Faith whilst working on the show. Love The Chosen, only up to the 6th or 7th episode, but have been and will continue to watch a couple of episodes each night. The show has certainly given me a better perspective of what the Scriptures say, and I have to say that The Chosen is officially my favorite show. Have to also say that Jonathan depicts the character of Jesus so well, I almost believed that Jesus Himself played Jesus, before I found out its just a man who portrays Jesus just how I imagine Him to be.
Just for clarification, 'it's been asked if the show is a 'Mormon' production...'; the short answer is 'no'... However some of the places used in production are properties of the church, used for various projects in addition to The Chosen. Also the word Mormon is the name of a prophet for which the Book of Mormon is named, and the frequent nickname for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. (I'm a member of the Church, not an official spokesperson.)
Yes, but Angel Studios and the gents who launched everything are LDS. And Evangelicals, in particular, get up in arms about that. So what happened is that Dallas Jenkins created his own little company for two reasons: 1) to white wash the question of the origins of the project (as it started as a project) and 2) to launch the possibility to claim distribution rights so he could make a boatload of cash. He knew it would be a legal issue but knew whatever he pays in it, he’ll still have made countless riches beyond whatever it costs. Evangelicals are very concerned that Mormons are going to make money off of this venture when in reality the person making money off of it is Dallas. The creators of The Chosen crowd sourced productions costs. They were then going to download the series to an app. People could stream the series using the app anywhere in the world. As well, it was thought that if people wanted to see it in a more theater-like setting, local churches could do that via the app. So the two Mormon men who started this whole shabang were doing it as a non-profit venture. But after creating his own company and claiming distribution rights, Jenkins has sold the series to streaming services like Amazon. And he has distributed it in movie theaters through Fathom Events. Did you know that the first weekend in theaters (with the first three episodes of season four) made $40 million? That’s not going to production costs or two actors or crew. It’s going to Jenkins and the company he founded. So that’s why there is now a lawsuit. Frankly, Angel Studios did a wonderful thing putting this out there. I’m a Christian, though no longer an evangelical. And I know that LDS theology is different in various areas. But when it comes to the Gospels, it’s the same. The ministry of Jesus during his 33 years in Israel under Roman rule in the 1st century is the same. So I don’t understand why Evangelicals get touchy about it.
@@toritori5835 Because Mormons do not believe Jesus is God. They believe he is a created being, totally separate from God, and a brother to Lucifer. They believe he was raised to godhood because of his sacrificial death. The Jesus of the Mormons is not the Jesus of Christianity.
We as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and, We believe in God the Eternal Father and his Son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ is the central God's plan for his children to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. God reveled his identity through his Son Jesus Christ and their oneness in purpose.
It is refreshing to see the story of Yahusha and the disciples depicted in such a relatable way. The fact is, the original disciples were all from diverse backgrounds. The same is true with the actors. Regardless of their religion, they are doing a phenomenal job. Their relationship with Yahuah is a personal thing. In the end each of us will be held accountable for our own relationship with the Almighty. I am a believer, and yes, I would love that all would accept Yahusha (Jesus) our Atoning Sacrifice. Stay blessed.😇🙏
I personally do not have a problem with non-Christian actors in these roles. The director, producers and writers are Christians and the overall tone is supportive and does not mock the faith. Therefore they can communicate the tone to the actors. And who knows, maybe the actors themselves will give an "outside looking in" fresh perspective to the roles.
We love Christ just like all other denominations who believe in Him. It breaks my heart that some people won’t watch this loving, amazing, enthusiastic interpretation of His life and the lives of His disciples because some of the financial backers and producers are of the same faith I am.
I loved the video. Who is narrating it? It kind of sounds like the actress who plays “Eden” to me? I’ve been fortunate to see all of season four, some of it twice, at my local theatre. And hopefully it will be streaming soon so that everyone has a chance to watch it.
Angel studios has a connection with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! (The Mormon faith) which is centered in my home state, Utah. a kid from my school passed away this year due to cancer, and was visited by the chosen cast. They are wonderful people, and I cannot wait for season 4!
I couldn't wait to watch season 4, so I bought the DVD set from the chosen store, It helps support them. Now I can't wait to get season 5. I love binge watching them from beginning to end over and over. Good wholesome viewing that soothes my soul. God's word comes to life...beautifully.

@Angeloflight7 it is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We do not worship Mormon. But people call us "mormons" as well as many other very different splinter groups related to our faith. We are Christians, read the KJV Bible, and worship Jesus Christ - the one in the Bible. And we are naturally very aligned with other Christians on our appreciation of The Chosen.
Mormons follow as different gospel of Jesus that the real Jesus of the Bible . You believe Jesus is Lucifer’s brother when in reality Jesus created all things like angels . He is the word of God made flesh . He as always existed .
it’s not a problem necessarily, it would just be nice if the people playing these parts fully understood the gravity of what they were playing God uses everybody though 🤷🏾♂️

I am 72 years young and I had two wonderful God fearing parents and an amazing stepmother who was my best friend and a wonderful Christian. My cousin told me that she wouldn’t watch The Chosen because the Mormon religion was involved. I told her she should at least watch and compare its content with the Holy Bible, which I have done all my life when I was studying anything pertaining to God and Jesus. My father taught me to always test everything in life against the word of God. I admit when I was younger, after my mother passed, I was 18, I lost my way, but God waited on me to find my way back to him. I can honestly say that The Chosen has brought me closer to God and more than any Christian movies I have ever watched and I feel that it is truly blessed by my father in Heaven. I am continuing to work on my cousin and anyone else I meet. I thank God for this amazing show and I am fully aware it is a movie and certain artistic license has been taken in some parts but even the parts that are not connected directly to the Bible the meaning of God’s teachings come truth beautifully!!
Calm down and re-listen to what she said. She said she was kidding but they as actors and how they believe should be discussed. You should really listen before jumping to something.

"Mormon" is not a religion but the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a religion and may be what you were referring to. Some people may think The Chosen is partially produced by this church because this church has been a benefactor in the making of the series and the Chosen uses some of their sets.
I do not think it makes any difference what, if any, faith the actors hold. I celebrate the various backgrounds of all of them!! Praise God for this beautiful and moving series about Jesus and the Hebrew Faith and historical time. The Romans are portrayed with heart and, I think, as real people, and not caricatures. I am loving the "reality" aspects of this as well as affirming my own faith. Pressing and transporting the olive oil!! Then seeking approval and the contract! Real life of the time! Amazing!! What's sad is I don't think the show could survive if an actor was lds. After all, just the rumor of some connection caused such a scandal. Enough to be mentioned in this video even though none of the actors were lds. I guess It would be like if a Samaritan was cast in an ancient Jewish play. Yeah, isn’t it kind of ironic that Jesus brought gentiles and Jews together and to Him it didn’t matter but others freaked out, and that’s how other Christian’s treat us?
Phillipians 1:15-18 15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. 16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. 17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.
Evangelic Christian here. I was Catholic when I was a little kid. I hoped that at least the actores and director (thank you Dalas for representing Evangelics) would be Christians honestly, because people look up to them. But I understand it may be hard to find so many people who are christians to play the rools. The most important is that the Word is being spread around the world. The world needed a show about Jesus. Not just a 2h movie. Everything should be seen in the Bible. For me personaly If I was an actor I would be very strict about it. I would only be on Christian entertainment. Never in Hollywood you know? And if I was a jew, a muslim, a buddish, hindu etc I wouldn’t play a role that would go against my belifs.
We have much in common with our other Christian brothers and sisters. The great fact that God is our eternal Father, & Jesus Christ is. His living son, and our savior, and the Holy Ghost as our other advocate with our Father. Bless you
Why this animus towards LDS-Mormons? We are devout Christians. It's in our full name: Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I think some of the fans watching are hearing, and reading things that sound brand new to them. The Scriptures are there in plain sight. It takes hours upon hours of studying and cross-referencing with ALL books of Scripture to pick up hidden truths. I suggest a good place to start is to partner with the likes of Michael B. Rush. Reading one of his treatises contains over 3900 verses of scripture. His explanations are enlightening and they help open the door for the Spirit of God to enter in. It's actually very fun 😁 🎉.

@@toritori5835 The production cost per episode is $5M. Christ made it clear that I am in no position to judge.

@@toritori5835ok. But I’m the end he is really working hard and trying to make it free so stop.
How you got to know that paras is Christian??
I'm evangelical Southern Baptist who is very interested in apologetics too. Personally, I don't think it matters what religion the cast members are since they should be hired based on if they can play the role as well as if they look the part (Romans should look more Roman, Israelis should look Israeli, etc. as well as around the correct age). God works in mysterious ways, so working on the show can lead people to Christ. Hopefully, that happens for everyone. It's happening to some viewers, so that's excellent.
Yes! Thankfully they don't have the pretentious British accents of old bible movies.

Mormonism is not biblical and is a cult. You’re best running away from it and never looking back. Focus on Jesus
Yep, we are alll followers of the same Jesus ❤
"Mormon" is not a religion but the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a religion and may be what you were referring to. Some people may think The Chosen is partially produced by this church because this church has been a benefactor in the making of the series and the Chosen uses some of their sets.
😂😂😂
Wish the actress playing mother Mary was a catholic or at least a Christian. I don’t get a good vibe off her. Mary in the passion was so good.
Yes, I find her acting lacks conviction. If you are a believer, you would dig deep into your faith to deliver the lines as they would mean something.
Yeah that’s the only one that bothered me to realize the actor isn’t a believer. Seems strange but I guess it’s just acting after all
The LDS Church does provide a lot of sets, costumes and objects for the show
I do not think it makes any difference what, if any, faith the actors hold. Amazing!! THANK YOU from my heart!❤ May GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Jesus is real; Give your life to Jesus ; Peace be with you , May the kingdom of God come even right now, Thank you God for hearing our prayers and meeting us where we are.
wouldn't personally recommend a mixed cast for a sacred heartfelt-angled show ...but to think they accepted the parts + believable portrayal thus far + eye-opening journey for them, kudos
I'm curious why you decided to dig into what their respective religions are. What religion are YOU?
It doesnt matter these people believen in jesus or not as what ive read from the comments here, the fact is these people have strong opinions and respect to Jesus and thats important.
It is so sad that some actors talk about God but they are not Christian after reading the Bible and getting to know God more. Hopefully they become Christians eventually
It is wonderful to hear them acknowledge Jesus though so they are aware of His existence.
That means He is working in them in a way we won't understand fully
Matthew isn’t Hindu
Yes he is Hindu, unless he converted. I was able to pm him on Instagram when this first started. I asked him if I could ask a personal question, he said sure. I said, are you India and from north India. He said yes and asked how I knew. I said because of his last name and his hair. 😊 Most Indians have beautiful thick hair. Patel is not a Christian name. Catholics in India have last names like, Thomas, Matthew, George, and John. I learned that St Thomas the Apostle, evangelized in India, and was martyred there. Same way you know Hindu, by their name; i.e. Vivek Ramaswamy who ran for President.
@littleflower1942 People can convert to other religions -- just because they have heritage of a certain religion doesn't necessarily mean they practice that religion
@@littleflower1942there many Indians who converted to Christianity from Hinduism, but do not changed their name... I know many Brahmin Hindus who converted to full christianity and one I personally know of is a presbyterian pastor but he still have the name given to him at birth when he was Hindu... My point is name alone doesn't signify their religion. Just because he is Patel, it doesn't mean he is not a Christian
Luke who plays Judas is an awesome actor. You can really tell the character is struggling internally. I know we do t like Judas but the actor does well 😂
What about Tamar and Ramah
No reason... but this is my 1st Chosen "experience."
I'm gonna go back & start with the 1st series...
Thanks for the feedback 😅
What's sad is I don't think the show could survive if an actor was lds. After all, just the rumor of some connection caused such a scandal. Enough to be mentioned in this video even though none of the actors were lds. I guess It would be like if a Samaritan was cast in an ancient Jewish play. Sadly we are not liked or welcome by Protestants! I hope it changes!
There is a Roman soldier (the one who said "rats in nice hats") who is a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints
@@netherquartz8946 I'm glad to hear that. But I meant a main character. But I am glad to know that, thank you for sharing
Yeah, isn’t it kind of ironic that Jesus brought gentiles and Jews together and to Him it didn’t matter but others freaked out, and that’s how other Christian’s treat us?
Phillipians 1:15-18
15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill.
Amen God bless us all and Jesus loves us all
Why did they get rid of the old Philip he was awesome 😢No offense to the new Philip I haven’t seen him yet. 🙏🙏
I think Jordan Ross who plays little James is a Christian. He has a you tube channel and interviews some of the cast
I don’t think he confesses Christ.
Many people don't seem to grasp that Christian or not, Jesus wants us to love everyone anyway. Not just the ones in our club.
Parass Patel is not a hindu guy. His born and brought up from Christian
Bardzo ciekawe! Daj znać, dzie o tym czytałeś, interesuje mnie ta postać
Wait... I thought Shahar was Diego Luna from Mexico and that he went to the gym. I told so many people he is Mexican. I lied
Love Chosen! ❤️
Love you Jesus Christ ❤️
We have much in common with our other Christian brothers and sisters. The great fact that God is our eternal Father, & Jesus Christ is. His living son, and our savior, and the Holy Ghost as our other advocate with our Father. Bless you
❤❤
This movie just totally touches my heart and spirit ❤ ✝️ 🙏 I just hope that everyone in this movie finds the Lord Jesus Christ! Amen and Hallelujah 🙏🙏🙏✝️✝️✝️❤❤❤
Well jonathan (the guy who played Jeus) is a well known Christian
Praise our Lord for all of them ❤❤
so well done. BTW--the "mormon" connection is basically Mr. Eves---great person & family.Much todo with productions. Yep, Mormons ARE Christians, deep faith in Jesus Christ. Always.😇😇
LDS Mormons are not evangelical Protestant biblical Christians. The theology is completely different, do your research.
@@rogeragness226 Our great commonality is this "eternal"' truth: Evangelicals certainly believe in the Savior Jesus Christ---and "dear broth"--so do we LDS (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) The likeness-is obvious--and we share that great Christian love. I you thought differently---I'm sorry. We know He is here, w know He gave all for us--we know He is the Son of God. So if you evangelicals disagree with those truths--I'm not sure what your mind is not grasping. Best wishes, love you & what a great life--knowing Him
@@dorisleeandelin3799do you believe that He is God incarnate?
@@jackal4884 He is my Savior, redeemer & is REAL in every way. I love that He loves EVERY one of us--as only a true God can. Amazing and eternally. Thanks.
@@dorisleeandelin3799 Mormons do not believe in the Holy Trinity, The Father and Son are not distinct beings. The theologies are very different. Really look into Mormon theology. They believe some very different things than Christians.
