Yes, but also our pastor is going through the New Testament this year and last year and he was playing parts from The Chosen, I was so sad when he got ahead of them and we had to watch someone else

I have heard that Shahar actually speaks 5 languages fluently. I know Hebrew, English, Spanish, Portuguese, and I don't know what the 5th one is. I'm on a mission to find out. 😉

The Chosen is the most powerful portrayal of the life of Jesus and those around Him I have ever seen. What a blessing!
The subject of asking the fans if they would be willing to donate or subscribe or pay a fee to help fund future filming has been brought up and I will absolutely be more than happy to contribute in any way.
Last year in Lisbon I was at the event, The Change, shown in this video, was happy to know Jonathan was there. And then I saw him later playing drums and I was like what?? ahah how cool

He is an Israeli citizen. All citizens are required to serve and are reservists up to a certain age.
Best version of Jesus in any project easily goes to Jim Caviezel.
Why was that necessary? Every “Jesus” is called to the one He is portraying. There is no competition.

Actually Shahar's first language is Hebrew, he speaks several languages.

My favourite actor as Jesus is actor is Jim Caviezel but they all give of their best to be fair.
What I like about Jim is we are not forced to hear about their personal lives ongoing ….. 🙏🏻

She doesn’t exist in the bible, so her character is just a poetic figure in the series therefore, had to be written out before the events of season 4

This is a show based on the Bible, history, culture, human behavior, and artistic imagination, and if you don’t want to see or read anything from Jesus and the disciples’ mouths that wasn’t recorded in Scripture, then that is your choice, Jeremiah. There are plenty of lovely word by word re-enactments of scripture set to film that have already been done.

Jeremiah I don't know your qualifications in the area of hermeneutics or the history of the Old and New testament but Jesus is the second part of the Godhead he was there at creation therefore he was the true lawgiver when he gave that law to Moses so yes those words are not in the actual scriptures of the Gospels but the premise is that he is truly the word of God incarnate he wrote the word of God which is partially the law of Moses.
@@bryanlewis3179 Adding to the scriptures has dire consequences. I loved this show too until I heard "I am the law of Moses" and deep down I knew something was wrong and Dallas is dragging all actors in with him. There's a reason why the 1st miracle wasn't 1st in The Chosen.
I was watching the cast react to comments and I believe it was Little James whom said "That's not very Jesuslike of you". Pride is so ugly. Just like the gay pride flag showing up on the set. Little flags but MANY will not see it because they love sin. Pride will lead MANY to the lake of fire.
To your qualification question. I have learning disabilities. Given to me when I was 12 and cancer almost ended my life. I've read the whole Bible once even though I would forget what I just read But I read every word. As I focused hard to read it I would see the other words around dancing around. I also have brain damage, optic nerve damage and a lazy eye. Now the radiation I had to the ears and brain 31 years ago is coming back and making life harder. I really don't why I'm telling you all of this.
