Yea, I’m a small TH-camr too a very small one with only 90 subs and I’m kind of stuck on editing my videos too long and that’s what keeps me from being consistent is because I take time with my edits

Hi Greg, you should do a video on ads... do you get paid if someone skips the ad versus if someone watches the ad, is there a price difference if the ad is 30 seconds versus those annoying ads that are 4 minutes, and the 10 second ads you can’t skip on... I always wonder why some people will put one ad at the end of their video to say 10 ads in a video. Love your channel, very informative, all the best :)

Hey. Don't look in AdSense to see earnings. It doesn't show there. Just look in TH-cam Creator Studio to see your earnings. You don't need a website to setup AdSense to pay you for your TH-cam views. If it asks you to enter a URL, just put your TH-cam channel page in

Been working on this for almost a decade with my current channel and since the beginning in my overall "TH-cam Career". What am I missing? Genuinely want to know. PS, great video!
Hmm just had a look, few quick pointers: 1) change your thumbnail style. There's a lot going on with them at the moment and it's hard to know where to look (they're abit cluttered). Simplify them a bit more so the viewer is overwhelmed and put off 2) music is quite loud on your videos. Reduce the volume so you can hear you talk easier 3) take out "HENRYS VIDEO GAME REVIEWS" from the start of the title of earch video and put it to the end. People can't see what the video is about without having to read that first, and most people won't bother reading past that first bit Good luck!

Please help me I just got monetised a few days ago, it says I need to reach my monthly threshold n order to choose how to get paid, on my analytics it’s says I have reached $80 which is enough because the threshold is only $60 however it says I have met 0% of my threshold on the Adsense website. How do I check the updated version of my threshold percentage? I’ve heard that the Adsense web does not update you on these things anymore so I don’t know where to check to know if I have met my threshold or not. Help is appreciated❤️
Consistency really is the main thing you have to do if you wanna make it. Make sure your uploading at least 2 times a week when you start, it helps wonders!

So u need 4000 hours watch time in the space of 12 months. Does that 4000 hours watch time in 12 months target start once you've hit 1000 subscribers or does it start once you've first created your channel?

Im just curious that you didnt mention anything about countries (im from Hungary) , and i searched "can you make money from youtube in Hungary?" and i got this:TH-cam monetization is not available in Hungary. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to get AdSense revenue in Hungary. Even if you change your channel's country, Google AdSense will verify your actual address. Since your country of residence and your channel's coutrny won't match, you won't be eligible. Now i dont understand, can i make money or not?
It's funny how he says you need to get 1,000 subscribers like its easy. Its VERY hard. And takes longer than a year or a couple of months. I've only got 26 subcribers and I've been doing youtube for a year almost 2. That is rediculous. Anyone who says its easy doesn't know the struggle. This made me EXTREAMLY, Mad. That is a HARD task to complete. And I feel bad for all the channels who are like me and I hope things change soon for you too. It's now obvious that nothing you do will help you get paid on youtuber or get more subscriber. You've just got to hope you do and see what happens.
For the 40,000 views 12 month period. Do you need to wait for 12 months before getting paid, or is it possible to get paid once you have 40,000 views even after a month

You get paid by Adsense and it rolls over to the next month if you don't hit it

A working day is 8 hours, over a year that accumulates 2,000 hours a year. I’m not sure I can make 4,000 hours of content in a year 😂

Hello great video but I don't understand the 4000 hours part. So if I get that much hours watched in a month will I get it once I have done it? Also when people watch it, is it everyone's time together? For example if I make a 10min video and 100 people watch it will it count as 10 mins towards the 4000 hours or will it count as 1000mins(which is about 17hours)? Pls tell me I need some help starting my channel. Thankyou

Please help me I just got monetised a few days ago, it says I need to reach my monthly threshold n order to choose how to get paid, on my analytics it’s says I have reached $80 which is enough because the threshold is only $60 however it says I have met 0% of my threshold on the Adsense website. How do I check the updated version of my threshold percentage? I’ve heard that the Adsense web does not update you on these things anymore so I don’t know where to check to know if I have met my threshold or not. Help is appreciated❤️
Yeah the AdSense website sucks! Don't look at that. Just look at the numbers in your TH-cam Studio page :)

So u need 4000 hours watch time in the space of 12 months. Does that 4000 hours watch time in 12 months target start once you've hit 1000 subscribers or does it start once you've first created your channel?
Good question. It's since you start your channel, so none of your effort is wasted :)

Im just curious that you didnt mention anything about countries (im from Hungary) , and i searched "can you make money from youtube in Hungary?" and i got this:TH-cam monetization is not available in Hungary. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to get AdSense revenue in Hungary. Even if you change your channel's country, Google AdSense will verify your actual address. Since your country of residence and your channel's coutrny won't match, you won't be eligible. Now i dont understand, can i make money or not?

It's funny how he says you need to get 1,000 subscribers like its easy. Its VERY hard. And takes longer than a year or a couple of months. I've only got 26 subcribers and I've been doing youtube for a year almost 2. That is rediculous.
Anyone who says its easy doesn't know the struggle. This made me EXTREAMLY, Mad. That is a HARD task to complete. And I feel bad for all the channels who are like me and I hope things change soon for you too. It's now obvious that nothing you do will help you get paid on youtuber or get more subscriber. You've just got to hope you do and see what happens.
For the 40,000 views 12 month period. Do you need to wait for 12 months before getting paid, or is it possible to get paid once you have 40,000 views even after a month
For any small TH-camr not yet monetized and not yet to 1000 subscribers yet like me who is watching here, dont give up keep pushing its evident from here that it will get better with consistency. Lets keep going there is light at the end of the tunnel.congrats🎉
