I started drumming at 45 just due to this song. While it is fun it's not incredibly complex, perfect for a perfect n00b like myself. That being said, they have enough songs where I just stumble and drop the sticks :) The importance is not the complexity, but the fact he manages to imbue a huge amount of energy and fun into the song. I still sound like a baboon throwing rocks at the drums :(
Hadn't seen any Royal Republic live stuff before this and now I'm hooked and have watched dozens but keep coming back to this. Great crowd, excellent performance while also keeping it fun and unique, by the time the drummer stood up and started beating his cymbals like they owed him money I was standing up too. What a presence!

My dads cousin was turning 70 and I don't really know where we were but we were at some place in Blekinge (Sweden). You had a little concert and me and some other kids were judges and I always gave it around 5 because it wasn't rock. After the concert you played the thunderstruck intro. Then i played Enter Sandman by Metallica on your guitar. I hope you remeber. Now today this video came up on my fyp and I will try to learn this on my guitar:) One day I will throw a concert where me and my friends will play the song:)
