Congratulations! As a X6M owner I can only confirm the contents of this excellent in-depth review. Alex did his homework and covered just about the entire spectrum of this incredible vehicle. Awesome work Alex! And yes, after 35k miles wihtout a single problem I can attest that this is a car without equal. I custom ordered a 2014 Cayenne turbo last year (delivered late oct 2013) for my wife and can honestly say that I prefer the X6M. What more can I say.
res0597o same here bro, he got it spot on, its faster then they say in this video tho, i also tuned it to stage 2 , its been my favourite car ever since it came out
Ah, I know what you mean. I have usually heard it called a chauffer button for some reason. My Jaguar Super V8 has one as well. The X6M does not. I have a soft sport for the "new BMW" because they are becoming more and more luxurious and soft over time. I'm still not sure if BMW fans like to hear that or not.
I did mention the Cayenne in the video but the competing model is more than 50% more expensive so that makes comparisons tricky. Porsche didn't have a car on hand to evaluate but from past experienced the Cayenne handles very well, performs similarly, has a slightly nicer interior and costs considerably more.
That and you can rack up a 5-series base price just in options on a Cayenne. They drive magnificently for something that presents itself as a "utility vehicle," but Porsche is the master of nickel-and-diming a car out of its price class, even for the most basic features you'd expect to be standard on an $80K+ luxury vehicle.
Ha, I can definitely tell you that the BMW fan boys don't like hearing that Alex, but you and I both know that the market demands it. Those wishing for harsher, more rough and track-ready setups are in the financial/purchasing minority though, and the aftermarket is still there to cater to their needs. Great review, enjoyed it as always.
But the difference between the m5 and the x6m is they do have the same engine, but the m5 has a better tune than this which makes is way faster plus its also lighter. Makes a huge difference
I thought that in tire sizes such as 295-45-20, the 295 would designate the tire height and the "45" would be the width...? Am I wrong? It drove me crazy to watch the reviewer admiring the tire width while verbalizing the tire height.
I'm shocked the host thinks 100k is far?,unless the USA has changed and there 200k jobs and everybody is living the good life. I don't know who they sell these cars to? I make under 80k and this car is still something I can't afford
Your reviews are good, but you use an alternative form of English which is characterized by awkwardly constructing gerunds (e.g. "corner carving") instead of using normal phrases (e.g. "carving corners"). I realize this form of English is used almost without exception in press releases, but you don't have the excuse of working in the advertising industry. [See also: "Much. Too. Frequent. Periods."] Is this intentional?
haha I was thinking of changing my X6 for the M, but then I found out how much gas it took. My friend owns a X5m and he told me he had to fill up the tank every 2-3 days on premium, and you know how much it costs to fill up a 35i. I'm happy I own a regular 35i x6 LOL.

res0597o wow you are such a wealthy person...congrats..

Is it still running??
Might be the only full review of the e71 X6M on TH-cam ?
Absolutely brilliant review!! great interior/exterior vision and faultless narrative. Great job.
We haven't in a while. We'll see what we can do.

Excellent cut, really liked the comments about the tires and the seats.
my x6M arrives this week! i am drooling watching this!
U still have urs ?

Please, do any one has a neatly used one for sale.
I'm much interested.
I'm nine years late, But good content Alex.
If I had the money this bad boy would be on my short list. Really like the look

My 2013 X6M has a spare. Also, the LED headlights are a $1900 option, not standard.
Great Video Love for you to review the 2014/2015 BMW X6 and a Mercedes GL 450.
Thanks for the well-informed review, Alex! I find myself watching your channel the most since I subbed recently. Keep up the great work.
Yikes, that's what I get for finishing up this video's description and title on a tablet with auto-correct!
what do you recommend as a good purchase
2013 x6m 70k milage going for 30k from the dealership hood buy ?
or should i just go with bmw x6 35i
One of the best reviews you've ever done... Absent the soda cup and straw in the cup holder... Lol.
I'm frightened to ask, what would such a button do?

lol, your Porsche costs a lot more for less performance…. But there are idiots born every day.
How reliable are these after 100k miles?
Brilliant and detailed. Can get boring sometimes!
I'd mod this X6 M with a double slat black gloss grille and some flared out carbon fiber mirror caps.
But the difference between the m5 and the x6m is they do have the same engine, but the m5 has a better tune than this which makes is way faster plus its also lighter. Makes a huge difference
I prefer them on the column, for sure
Didn't even make any attempt to put the X6M through its paces.😞 Should be reviewing Camrys and Accords.
He does in fact review Camrys and Accords.
One of the best reviews I've ever watched on TH-cam! Great job.
Hey Alex great video, you should try and do a review on the Alpina B4
Great car. Awesome review.... a. Very good very balanced well presented review......A must watch before buying the x6
Great and thorough review!
I guess for better visibility and a more comfortable driving position.
Thank you for this review. It was VERY informative!!
wonderful review....have you done a m3 review? would love to see it!
the video starts at 17:00
I love your reviews!
Very detailed review
really great in depth review!!!!
Personally I prefer them on the wheel. I seem to be in the minority there however.
Another good review!
Why did they have to pick red?

Can you review the BMW X4?
I didnt see how he started the vehicle or did I miss something
X6M competes closely with the Porsche Cayenne S and Jeep SRT
Harry Axe no it doesn't lmao
is this near watsonville?
they are planning with a 2014 x6m
Price of this car in us money ???
An AMAZING CAR!
I love my X6 50i MSport
super video, thx !
This is for rich people, lol. In grad school, I had a friend who bought one. I was shocked! I later found out that her family has oil money in Texas.
The new X5/X6M will come with a DCT! Not a 8speed ZF.
amirjon fail... it was a 8speed ZF
And I though my Cayenne has huge tires for an SUV with 295s, shit this thing has 315s lol
I thought that in tire sizes such as 295-45-20, the 295 would designate the tire height and the "45" would be the width...?
Am I wrong? It drove me crazy to watch the reviewer admiring the tire width while verbalizing the tire height.
C Straley 295 is the width, 45 is the aspect ratio of width to height and 20 is the diameter of the wheel.
Alex on Autos Thanks Alex!
plz review a e90 bmw 335i sedan
I'm shocked the host thinks 100k is far?,unless the USA has changed and there 200k jobs and everybody is living the good life.
I don't know who they sell these cars to?
I make under 80k and this car is still something I can't afford
Nice one
bro im still sad for selling my x6m
those wheels looks so tiny compared to the size of the car.
nice!!!

Holy shit, dude! You are having some kind of life crisis aren’t you?
Those LED lights look sooo cheap look like halogens with a chrome strip going through the middle.
I actually think they look good during the day! On the light projection aspect it does seem low tech versus a more typical projection lens.
A bit excited about the performance from the way you described it. But I will definitely NOT buy a car this ugly.
BMW x6 m 2014
No, this is a 2013
+1 for burger king. eat it your way~~ ha.
"Roast Test"?
naes
meh
QUE WEA LOS ANUNCIOS DE TH-cam
onest
I got the x6 2009 but not the m..........damit
haha I was thinking of changing my X6 for the M, but then I found out how much gas it took. My friend owns a X5m and he told me he had to fill up the tank every 2-3 days on premium, and you know how much it costs to fill up a 35i. I'm happy I own a regular 35i x6 LOL.
Taeyeon yea the 351 is relatively better on gas, plus the inline 6 engine is much more reliable, the x6m is just gonna cost too much money to run.
@@canadadevilthe people that can afford to buy these don’t worry about the gas mileage.
