as double bonds make it harder to saturate (mix in) hence fatty acids which are saturated dont have double bonds as they are easily saturated (mixed in easily)
yes i saw but there are only notes and no past papers or any questions nor worksheets and its for 25usd but the email says 8usd so i am confused@@behlogy
i dont think it affects solubility! it's just that when there are more double bonds, there are more kinks, more space btween molecules, therefore more liquid at room temp :D the state of matter (solid/liquid/gas) is not the same as solubility.
Hey there, as mentioned in your other comment, im so sorry, i've been really busy lately at work and i'm unable to upload these days. My notes are available and self-explanatory at behlogy.sellfy.store All the best for your exams!

I love your work they are helpful but they kinda too long for me to cram before an exam sos. Can you maybe consider making a summary?
It’s really a detailed coverage of the syllabus!! Also there’s too much to cram last min!! You need to be studying for months beforehand
why are double bond(s) present in unsaturated fatty acids but there are none present in saturated fatty acids?
Because. That's how it's named.... Saturated has more H bcs of the lack of double bonds....
as double bonds make it harder to saturate (mix in) hence fatty acids which are saturated dont have double bonds as they are easily saturated (mixed in easily)

Hi may I ask how does the double bonding affect solubility?

do we need to know how to draw triclycerides?
Kinda! The general structure at least. It helps with recognising it in diagrams also
Hey plz upload 2.1
