This is my go to channel anytime I have an issue in biology. With my finals coming up I'll be here a lot. Please keep up the good work, you're helping people like me and I really want to appreciate that.
@@samsyy-601 My revision isn't going as smooth as I thought it would but I'm going strong. I'm done with three topics I'm confident about. Thanks for asking
@@Klioooo Same here. I am really struggling with continous study pattern. I've also covered only 3 chapters upto enzymes and i am not really confident on third topic enzyme though. I am from Nepal. hello ms. Beh! Your videos are an absolute lifesaver, you make the most difficult chapters a breeze :) Is it possible for you to make a video on how to solve P3 + common mistakes made in P3? I would really appreciate it as CAIES are approaching and there is not much help available online
Thank you so much for making these videos. I'm planning on watching your complete playlist of chapter 2 because it is so helpful and you explain it like a pro. You make biology so much easier.
Really love ur vids, they’re so helpful!! I just wanted to ask that what are the things that have changed or added in the syllabus and from where can cover those, as I’ll be giving my As exams in may June 2025
Hi. Watching your videos really helps me understand A level biology and I really appreciate it. Could you please start making chemistry videos because I find A level chemistry very difficult and the way you teach makes everything seem easy. Thank you in advance!
Is it lagging or is it my internet? (Like after 10mins+), anyways, I’m new to your channel and will continue supporting you!! Thank you for the hard work ❤
hello ms beh. first of all: you are amazing, thank you. secondly: i started preparing for May June 2025 last week. i will be giving composite privately in June 2025. please guide me how should I prepare?
@@behlogy well my senior A levels student says that the bond between two monomers form glycosidic bond which is covalent bonding. But how do i describe those answers in a proper way?
No need! It's just my way of figuring out which carbon is involved in the glycosidic bond... Esp since you learn two types of glycosidic bonds. 1,4 and 1,6
if they ask us to test for non reducing sugars and its positive how will we tell if it is reducing or non reducing if fructose and glucose also test positive for the test as u mentioned im a bit confused
Hi Miss. I'm currently doing revision for the May/June 2024 AS LEVEL Exam ??Which years of past year papers do you recommend to do for practice? And What should be done in order to Get An A ??
Recent past papers are harder, so are better practice. I recommend the most recent 5 years of past papers at least. To get an A, be patient, work through and understand every detail, practice past papers till past papers look easy. No short cuts. All the best.
Thank you so much Miss !! Your Videos really helps me a lot :) . I almost have all the Notes for AS LEVEL FROM YOUR VIDEOS :) and Ill be continuing for A LEVEL TOO:) @@behlogy

just wanted to tell u that your channel is so helpful. your work is much appreciated!
This channel is really helpful for a level biology student...

Nothing changed in 2025 (you can refer to a community post i made about it)

Hi Miss. I'm currently doing revision for the Oct Nov 2022 exams. Which years of past year papers do you recommend to do for practice?
do the most recent 3-5 years or so, but be aware that the syllabus has changed in 2022!
@@behlogy Is this playlist ONLY for A1 or is it for A2 as well?
@@humss5884 she has a separate one for a2, you can find it on her channel

Dude im sorry im unfamiliar with composite...
Why did the scientists name the 2 isomers of glucose alpha and beta glucose? Do they have some properties of alpha and Beta radiations? (just curious)
Bcs alpha and beta is a and b in Greek............... Not related to radiation man
hey miss Beh please can you state the role of covalent bonds in joining smaller molecules
together to form polymers?
That's a....strange question... To form strong bonds btwn polymers I guess...? Why do you ask?
@@behlogy This question was stated in the syllabus. I am really confused how did covalent bond come here?
@@behlogy well my senior A levels student says that the bond between two monomers form glycosidic bond which is covalent bonding. But how do i describe those answers in a proper way?
yes this confused me too
Very helpful❤
Is it necessary to memorize and label the carbon numbers while drawing the alpha and beta glucose structures?
No need! It's just my way of figuring out which carbon is involved in the glycosidic bond... Esp since you learn two types of glycosidic bonds. 1,4 and 1,6
Thanksyou so muchhhh
Do we have to learn or memorize the structure of Fructose or Galactose? For 2025 - 2027 syllabus
No need to memorise, just recognise that it's different from glucose.
if they ask us to test for non reducing sugars and its positive how will we tell if it is reducing or non reducing if fructose and glucose also test positive for the test as u mentioned im a bit confused
So you always need to do the reducing sugar test first, then the non-reducing sugar test!

9:38 6 rings or 6 carbons? haha
HAHA 6carbons whoops
can u explain what you meant with glucose can be stored or mobilized quickly i dont get it
So glucose is easily kept as storage when there's too much, & taken out to be used when needed.
