- Der Berliner E-Bike-Hersteller E-Rockit will mit neuem Eigentümer, neuem Standort und neuem Team durchstarten. 2019 soll laut Andreas Zurwehme, Geschäftsführender Gesellschafter der E-Rockit Systems, die neue Serie der „Fahrspaßrakete“ auf zwei Rädern ausgeliefert werden.

Afaik you have to by law. To qualify as a e-bike it can only support your pedaling. You can't just "switch it on"

Great idea, but far too prohibitively expensive for the masses. Bring the price down and bring out custom kits/wheels to make them look a bit cooler and more like an actual motorbike, and then I think people would legitimately lap these up as an alternative to both cars and traditional bicycles.
For $40,000 you can buy two brand new cars. Totally unrealistic to buy this
It's in Germany. German driver license and cars are very expensive and they have several categories of vehicles and you need to prove your driving skills. It's not like in US were cars are cheap, something very healthy for the environment, and the only requirement to drive a car is to have a head so they can take your picture at the DMV. Also they don't need so many cars because they have trains which don't exist in US, but I guess Americans enjoy getting stuck in a highway for a couple of hours everyday.

Велосипед-мотоцикл eROCKIT способен передвигаться со скоростью 80 км/ч. Стоимость гибридного велосипеда составляет ориентировочно 12,5 тысяч евро.
Прототип eROCKIT снабжен педалями, к ним подключен генератор, заряжающий аккумуляторы, а также система управления мотором, регулирующая подачу «газа». Электромотор расположен у заднего колеса. Функцию цепи переняла на себя электроника. При максимальной скорости 80 км/ч и моторе мощностью в 12 лошадиных сил обогнать автомобиль в городском потоке - не составит труда.
Немецкая радиостанция Deutsche Welle также сообщает, что во время езды на гибридном велосипеде нужно все время крутить педали, то есть ехать так же, как на обычном велосипеде. Ручки или педали газа у eROCKIT нет - разгон происходит за счет более интенсивного вращения педалей.
Первые люди, испытавшие eROCKIT, рассказывают, что «когда крутишь педали, возникает ощущение, что ты наделен нечеловеской силой». По их словам, обгонять автомобили, используя при этом силу своих мускулов - невероятно захватывающее ощущение.
peddles on a bike that weighs 100 kg.....the amount of charging achieved by peddling is not worth the weight of the generator. Like the frame design, but peddle drive to back wheel would increase range, lose weight, and not leave you stranded when the battery dies. Have you timed how long you must peddle for, to replenish the battery to full charge, after depleting the battery?

You know what? When you pedal a bike you should be able to straighten your leg on the pedal, while sitting on the seat. On all these bikes, the seats are set too low.

If I gather some money in future I will take this e-bike as my first vehicle of my life. Because I wanted to happen something like that which bicycle can go fast enough to automobile and this e-bike makes it in real.

As a living organism called earth, we believe that this reinvention of the wheel is what we would all say is a more heavenly approach.
We must all posses this tech knowledge as if the species is to survive it cannot be by dumb luck.
Hecho in Mexico would look good for a serious investor group. Teaching the basics of assembly is but a portion of time as learning quality control would ensure a popular choice for a quality bike and or car. Teach the tech, allow progress to be made, tread wisley, make way.

My guess is it will go fast enough for you...Seems to be made to rip you off your seat with the torque...That will kill your range.
That size battery, at 200? volts/10,000rpm motor, will last about 100 miles ALL out, if designed well...
Price is not worth it, methinks...I built my own 1000w fat bike, with 20ah LiFePo4 in same place as this motorcycle, that I lock the hub and frame, and take the battery with me in the city, and bring inside when I go home...10 years and counting, no tickets, parking,registration,license,gas,repairs,I could write a book...

@Hector R yeah, I understand that, but how many miles do you add by sitting there, looking, well, odd, pedalling ... Cut the pedals, add a bigger battery and go the same distance... yeey electric motorcycle
@@Driessenator Removing the pedals would defeat the whole purpose of the machine. The pedals are there to charge the generator - that's literally the point of the thing. I do hope they have some sort of cruise function though. One where you can take a rest if need be and use up some stored charge. It'd be useful for uphill stints and long trips down motorways where constantly peddling would be more of a hindrance - especially on a bike with that extra weight.
@@Syklonus yea like say I want it to stay at 35 miles per hour so I lock it in and pedal very quickly to like load this bar thing up then I can quit until the screen shows the bar all the way depleted... Rough idea but its the way I understood it
it adds the convenience of not getting sued where you provided video evidence against yourself
@@Kinglordordave even at 35 mph it's going to be using power far quicker than you're pedaling it. Can you ride a bicycle at 35 mph, let alone this heavy thing with charging inefficiencies?

Very cool I would love to own one, I like the peddling generator setup, Is that a Gen5 Sevcon controller up front? would like to no more on the spec's... I'm an ebike builder myself.
Pedalling generator is bunk...you get more blast from regen braking once, than pedalling all day! 10 years experience and no Gen or solar is worth putting on a good batteried bike!

Who wants to buy a „motorcycle“ with pedals, for 40 000 Euro? Even the new Harley E-Model called Lifewire is a big joke for 35 000 Euro, without pedals but the range is only around 150 km. I think it’s even less, around 130/140...
Don't know if this youtube is of the manufacturers if it is could we get a videos on how it works?, I'm guessing there's a battery?, as otherwise I don't know how you'd do it without some serious transformer but I don't think the human body would output enough electric to get it going fast speeds, sorry I'm just crazy about e bikes I'd love to be the e bike Elon Musk one day but I don't have his drive 😂, I've thought about trike designs too as a cheap affordable way for people to get around that couldn't afford stuff like a motor bike, CBT test, insurance and so on but I don't have the money to fund such a project one day maybe though 😂😅, I saw this year's ago on top gear and fell in love with the idea straight away ☺

Take the stupid pedals off and call it what it is a motorcycle. Just buy a fx from zero and at $10k you got a real daily bike.

1. This is rated as a motorcycle, unless under 500 watts, and needs registration, inspection, and license...$$$$$
2.The quiet makes it unsafe...This video showed very unsafe maneuvers I would not do!
I have an E-trike I designed 10 years ago, and a fat bike, both 1000 watts.
No speeding, No hassle.. No BIG $$$$$
3. I love it, but the battery pack seems too large, just to get that massive torque rush!
Speed can be achieved with simple derrilleur shifting on that midrange motor.
4. As a motorcycle, there is no need for pedals, and make it look corny...
I would give it apehangers, and an outstretched, footrest (easy rider) look!
5. Again on batteries, I hope you are using long lasting LiFePo4's
LiCoNiM are 3-4 years, tops, before you need to replace. I've had my Lifers for 10 years now, just FYI...
