- How do you find the angle outside of a circle? What if it's made of two tangents? What if it's made of a tangent and a secant? Or two secants? What do you do if "x" is involved? This video explains the theorem behind finding angles outside of circles, and it also shows how to solve basic and advanced problems using this theorem.
Here are some additional videos about angles in and on circles:

Thank you so much. You are great teacher.
That’s so kind of you to say, thank you! 😊
What is the proof of this theorem?🤔 I can't find it
It’s a little difficult to convey in text, but here’s a link I found for you with the proof. It involves drawing an additional tangent and chord and using the inscribed angle theorem as well as the tangent and intersected chord theorem: mathleaks.com/study/kb/rule/angles_outside_the_circle_theorem
thank youu
Welcome 😊
what do you do if you only have the angle
Do you mean if you are only given the angle outside the circle and are asking you to find an arc? In that case they would need to provide some other piece of information - one of the intercepted arcs, the two non-intercepted arcs, etc. Just giving the outside angle isn’t enough on its own. It’s like if they asked you “x - y = 10 so what are x and y?” It’s impossible to answer without some more info.
i hate math!!!!!!!😢
Not only you 😂
