This is a rabbit hole you'll enjoy, but probably not for the reasons you think. Most of their tracks are more R&B and Hip-Hop influenced. This one and "Howling" are mostly rap focused, but the majority of their library at the moment isn't. That said, they really don't have any bad songs. There's 1 or 2 I don't care for too much, but I would say the majority of their songs are no-skips.
I feel you mates, like the girls didn't try to ape a genre and hope for the best, they own that shit, they're legit. It's clear to me they worked extremely hard to deliver something that clean in a foreign language that most of them don't even speak fluently. XG Caught me 4 months ago bruv. 32 years a DJ Love hip hop house garage etc. Their producer, Simon, "Jakops' is CLEARLY influenced by 90s UK Garage, as you will see in IYKYK and left right. There is a MJ Craig David influence running through all their stuff, Hip Hop yeh, vocal Diva, Yeah, Insanely Creative music videos, YEH, Choreo, YEh. Basically this is the single best act of the last 30 years in my opinion.

The way I got introduced to XG was XG’s tape #2 Galz Xypher. This is where they blew my mind with their rapping skills. 4 out of the 7 girls are on display showcasing each individual’s rap skills to different tracks. This was a few years back and where a couple of the youngest girls were only 16 (Cocona) and just turned 17 (Maya) at the time which was even more impressive.

It's clear to me they worked extremely hard to deliver something that clean in a foreign language that most of them don't even speak fluently. I see it as a tribute, or a love letter, to 90s hip hop, I hear Q-Tip, Busta, Mos Def and many others, I hope they're proud, I hope they know how impressed we all are.

In Korea, the girl groups aren't really allowed to be this hard-hitting, and the next one you need to react to is their latest song called Howling. The youngest member that shaved her head in this video right here is I believe 16 years young. They will be at Coachella come summer, and that's HUGE for the small company they come from. XG Caught me 4 months ago bruv. 32 years a DJ Love hip hop house garage etc. Their producer, Simon, "Jakops' is CLEARLY influenced by 90s UK Garage, as you will see in IYKYK and left right. There is a MJ Craig David influence running through all their stuff, Hip Hop yeh, vocal Diva, Yeah, Insanely Creative music videos, YEH, Choreo, YEh. Basically this is the single best act of the last 30 years in my opinion.

The way I got introduced to XG was XG’s tape #2 Galz Xypher. This is where they blew my mind with their rapping skills. 4 out of the 7 girls are on display showcasing each individual’s rap skills to different tracks. This was a few years back and where a couple of the youngest girls were only 16 (Cocona) and just turned 17 (Maya) at the time which was even more impressive.
Check out Galz Xypher Tape #2. That one went viral. It features the 4 rappers from the group-Cocona, Maya, Harvey and Jurin. It’s kind of the precursor to this song. You’ll love it. Of course Howling is a must too.
