don't you ever kinda "jump", pop, etc :? In other words using the lift of the break to rise the hips and legs if that makes sense I guess is what most people would refer as a late take off but I've also seen quite a few pros doing it before the wave even breaks but there's swell so waves have lotta energy even before breaking
Yes, tat is the fast method. If ppl could do so, there is no reason to watch this video, cos short TH-cam with short attention can only explain one thing at a time... There are many ways actually to pop up based on various situations.
@islandgan would you be up to making same video again but this time without the hands holding by the sides but firm against the board but not grabbing while at the same time from there we go into stance as much as possible I'm happy paying for that video
@islandgan well actually it's exactly what you do in this video at minute 2:30 aprox when showing from the front that's exactly what I mean and then next from there ending up in what it wld be a variation of a yoga pose don't ask me the name so in that way we can train when there's no waves that pop up transition while working the mobility part of it as well as specific work out of the muscles involved which are the ones that matter in the water at the end of the day what you think in other words coming to a stance position as possible while keeping the hands in contact with the board so as you mentioned it remains as steady as posible I've seen this done by some pros over and over but it requires such a good rhythm with the wave most people we fail
This video is solid gold, thank you Ah.
❤ thanks man!
You are the first person to explain this in this way (the fear of the drop). Exactly what I needed to understand. Thanks!
Always nice to learn something new! Your on board demonstrations are superb. Thank you.
This was very useful. So simple, thank you 😊
2024 cool stuff guy, mahalos
Great info thanks!
curious about that guitar collection though! :D as for the video, simple is power. Thanks
🤣 guitar collection is to just act cool, I only know 4 chords.
What is that foot stand you have near the tail of the board? Where can I get one?
If I understood ur question correctly, it is called a surfboard tail / traction pad, u can buy online.
