Guys here's some extra data of the fate of those workers: Arche was the only one that died, her head was given to a demon to use her talent to see magic, Demiurge got her skin to make scrolls, Entoma got her voice chords and the rest was used as food for monsters that live in Nazarick that like to eat humans, no part was wasted as Ainz said. Imina and Hekkeran were taken to the large hole where a parasite monster used the two of them as food for small parasites (that's the reason Aura didn't like him or Kyohukou, because she can't stand small bugs) and Imina especially was used to incubate parasite eggs in her stomach, that went on for the eternity until they can die old. Robberdick was used by Ainz to practice his memory change magic, seeing if he changed his faith into another could change his holy magic and all that. Finally the two sisters of Archer had a tragic destiny too, as their parents kept acquiring debt, they ended up being sold as slaves (For Physical labor) and died soon after inside of a coal mine. This last info was said by the author itself, it is not in the novels
Hekkeran was lucky and died after some time as a parasite breeding ground. Imina however was not as lucky, worst is she has a long lifespan so the end isnt coming anytime soon for her. Arches sisters fate was "death by overwork" not specified as what kind of "work". And when it comes down to underage girls sold to slavery... what kind of slaver would use them for manual labor when THAT exists. Rough stuff.
Btw, regarding the "cockroach king" part, you missed the part where he says he'll go for seconds. He kept healing and re-eating them over and over again - which is also what happened to the blonde woman (Hilma of the Eight Fingers) at the end of season 2
In regards to the collar, it was never mentioned in the anime but it's an item that increases the exp-gain. Ainz was using it to experiment wheter or not he could still get stronger (aswell as helping train the lizardmen)
The only thing sadder is the fate of Arche's sisters. The parents go even further into debt, the twins get sold to human traffickers, where they "expire from overwork"
If i recall correctly, they get "saved" by shatltear and lets them part of her Corpse brides. they than worked for nazerick unaware of their sisters fate however.
as others have probably pointed out, anyone from the tomb of yore would be referring to him as MOMONGA. 'Ainz' is the name he took to spread it around and 'find' any companions in the new world.
By the way guys, it was revealed in the last published volume of the novel that Mare despite his looks, inside his head he is a complete psycho like many other Nazarick denizens
As for your doubts in this episode: • That dragon we see at the end is Mare's and it's level 90. It was a gift from his creator Bukubuku Chagama. • As for how everyone got their sense of justice it is a mix between their karma points, their programming, their race and a bit of the personality from whoever created them. Demiurge, Albedo and Ainz all have -500 karma points which is the lowest, then you take into consideration that Albedo and Demiurge are demons, and then that the person who created Demiurge was obsessed with acting evil and added that into his programming for Demiurge. As a result from that he became the most evil entity in Nazarick and probably the whole world. He is still extremely loyal to Ainz but that doesn't stop him from delivering suffering to beings outside of Nazarick while he follows orders (Happy farm). Then a little detail skipped in this episode: • Due to Hekkeran's comments, Albedo decides to team up with Pandora's Actor, fifteen level 80 npc, and Rubedo (her little sister and the biggest fighting force in Nazarick). In order to, supposedly, search for signs of the other supreme beings and find them. But, due to the amount of fighting power and Albedo's attitude while asking Ainz for permission, it is speculated that her real plan is to make an extermination team for the other Supreme Beings. This because she feels like they abandoned them.
The collar is a training item, it lowers some of Ainz's stats, but gives hime high XP gains, and yes he told them to cover their ears, because he was complaining out loud. Ains has been training under cocyoutos to be a warrior, remember, Ains is a lvl 100 magic caster, but in his stats, he's around lvl 35 for a warrior, thus the need for training so he can fully utilize his stats, this is also done so he can maintain the façade that Momon is a great warrior. The body parts that Entoma is talking about are Arche's body parts, since Entoma has her voice now. The dragon is one of Aura's pets, she is a ranger and tamer. Ains was genuinely mad at the workers, because when he first met them as Momon, he asked why would they go into a tomb where no one knows anything about it and it may be full of risks, and the workers told him that the reason was "gold" all they wanted was gold, so Ains sees them as thieves and is specially angry about that.
Love you guys like this specific episode. Fun fact. This season 3 episode 8 is the episode that will reveal the viewer's true feelings. Either hate it or love it. Not in between. And this is crucial at least IMO for those people who want to continue the series. If they hate it 100℅ sure they will not like much of this series. Why this is happening? Because the viewer has been misunderstood by season 1 that is Ainz a good guy (which is it's only a disguise as a momon to become an adamantite rank adventurer). And sadly they (viewer) don't care about the lizard arc because they are not human. The emotion does not have a big impact compared to this episode (S3 Eps 8). Which is make them not realize sooner that you must root for the bad guy (Villain). Also, this episode is my judgment of the reaction of content creators whether they enjoy it or not. If they don't do well I will enjoy watching them suffering watch this show. But if is not then welcome you are my friends. Those who love overlord automatically will be my comrades. Btw, as always great reaction from you guys. And also big respect for Chris for editing this video perfectly.
According to wiki, Ainz' karma level is the same as Demiurge and Albedo (-500) but he doesn't get affected by it. I am not sure why though. (I'd be grateful if someone could explain.) As for Demiurge, he enjoys toying with humans and making them suffer.
It should be clear enough that he is not affected because his core remains essentially human. If he were what he's supposed to be, an elder lich or some such, there would be no need for a force to 'calm him down'. Presumably this will change if he stats in the lich body long enough, but I would not expect to see the vhange take hold on the show...however long a time period it might end up covering. For the simple reason that him being what he appears would just be a clever monster, only of interest to the adventurers sent to kill him.
@@hansolav5924 The emotional suppression is because he's an human in an Elder Lich's body, but all throughout the series (and the books) you can see that he's losing his humanity and becoming more and more Elder Lich 'like'
I'm too lazy so I'll just copy paste whatever I wrote when YaBoyRoshi watched this episode: 1. Regarding using the different parts of the body, they are talking about Arche, the girl Shalltear killed. Shalltear changed form and scare Arche so much her heart stopped beating. This can be a heart attack or a deadly shock - She literally died without pain. Regarding Arche, her father sold her sisters as slave to pay off the debts. The sisters were overworked and die. Some people say, they were sold as sex slaves - no they weren't. Just normal slaves. 2. When the oversmart dude tried to bluff his way out and he said "Give Ainz our regards" - Ainz started laughing. Its because he just confirmed his bluff. If anybody was in a position to give them permission to enter, they'd be one of those 41 players. And these 41 players don't call him Ainz, his name is Momonga.
Something needs to be clarified, we don't know what happened to Arche's sisters, at least in the Light Novel, because yes, what you say about "they were used as sex slaves and died for that" is something that "Canon" (official) had planned to do in the Light Novel, but in the end the author didn't put anything 😅 and it's not for fear of what people will say, he has proven to be quite ruthless in the Light Novels with characters regardless of whether they are children, women, men or the elderly, Arche's sisters died for sure, but it is not known what, there is a high probability that they starved to death because they did not have money or they were murdered along with their father and mother by the people they owed money to 🤔 although it would have been great if the author had put that ending for the two of them and thus show that this world is very ruthless with anyone and at least that way we would have been given an ending for them, not like now, where we are gave an open ending for them 😅🤣🤣
@@Misaki_Mei504 If i recall correctly, they get "saved" by shatltear and lets them part of her Corpse brides. they than worked for nazerick unaware of their sisters fate however. this was after they were sold as slaves and overworked on the brink of death.

10:00 she reacted that way due to Ainz's power 😅 since it was the first time in her life that she saw a being with an excessive amount of Mana and that she was a student of Fluder Paradine (who is the magician that appeared recently, the old man with a beard) and since he was already considered the most powerful magic user that exists 🤔 and it is also because he was surprised to see his enormous amount of mana, since he was hiding his power with it ring I had
I think it is worth mentioning that Momon knew that the adventurers were lying because they called him by the name "Ains", which is not his name. "Ainz Ooal Gown" is actually the name of the guild, and not any one Player/Person. "Momon" is the actual in-game name for his Elder Lich character and that's the name his friends would use. We can call him Ains now, because in the first episode, he told all the NPCs that he would assume the name of the guild. He can use it as the guild representative, and it helps to conceal his real identity.
18:51 Entoma is using Arche's voice by eating her vocal chords and integrating them into her body... The rest of the body parts they were talking about were also Arche's.... * Arche was the girl who threw up and flew away only to be captured by Shalltear...
ya Ainz undead mental suppression kicks in when he get overly emotional, such as lying bout his friends or when he get embarrassed hence the green glow. however his rage was so high it bypassed the suppression for a short moment there show how pissed off he really was.
This was a rough episode for me when I first saw it. This event seems to have been a turning point in the book/novel as well as the anime. From this point on, you really have to question the extent to which Momon has lost his humanity. Is it the "natural" result of his undead nature and the extreme-evil alignment of his in-game character? Is it the evil tendencies and irrefutable logic of his top Advisors? Is it the corruption of unquestioned authority in a world were he sees everyone but himself as NPCs, and only the NPCs of the Guild provide a connection to his "real" friends?
24:42 "I think Demiurge doesn't look at good or bad... just what is going to be the most effective..." - That's more Ainz than Demiurge... Ainz is "true neutral", but Demiurge was created by someone who role-plays as a villain... the exact opposite of Touch-Me... - He does prioritize effectiveness and efficiency, but he does like to sneak in some unnecessary cruelty whenever he can, unless Ainz tells him to avoid unnecessary bloodshed... But this time, Ainz was really pissed that trespassers broke into Nazarik...
0:59 I forgot to mention this the last time, but the guy who you referred to as "The Cockroach King" is Kyouhouku... He was mentioned two times previously... In the first episode of this season Aura mentioned how she doesn't like him because his family skitters and crawls into your clothes.... And near the end of the previous season, after Nazarik had subdued the Eight Fingers, Mare told Aura that the surviving members of the Eight Fingers were eaten from the inside out and then healed... Now the Eight Fingers works for Nazarik...
3:04 "Why does Ainz have that collar on?" - The anime won't explain it, but it's an item for increasing experience... It has nothing to do with the workers really, but it's an opportunity to test how it works in this world...
btw if u didnt know the collar he is wearing is an item from the game that gives him more experience points and he wore it to see if it worked on killing humans
The large hole is a pit filled with bugs. She’s not afraid of bugs, she just hates them crawling on her. They talked about it in episode 1 season 3. Bugs don’t bother Mare.
23:52 "And what's with the dragon??" - Nazarik has all sorts of beasts and creatures... humanoid and otherwise... But Aura specifically is of the beast tamer class, and Mare is a druid himself...
3:42 The ironic thing is, if they had just been honest with Momon about their true reason for being there, to help their comrade, Ainz likely would have spared them. Instead, playing their cards close to the vest, they made it vaguely seem "all about the gold!", which sealed their fate.
the metal collars arent explained in the anime as far as i know, but theyre experience boosting items, everyone wearing them is hoping to increase their ability gains from what theyre doing
Demiurge got Arche's skin which he will use as parchment to make spell scrolls. Arche's being a spell caster I wonder if that makes the spell scrolls made from her capable of taking higher level spells? If so, Demiurge might put a bounty out on collecting spell casters for the Happy Farm. The conversation of the twins breaks a lot of people just like a certain scene in Slime (we all know the one).
27:20 "Did we ever get to test out the new sword?" - Sorry... forgot to say this last time too... "Test our new sword" was an expression... She meant testing the new tools, strategies, etc... One of the things they were testing was if Hamusuke could learn warrior skills (martial arts), and it worked! Another was the exp gain collars...
There are literally thousands of NPCs in Nazarick, so you shouldn't be surprised to see new monsters occasionally, although the anime omitted many of these for budget reasons I guess.🤔 Btw, that dragon, was created by a rather rare gacha item that Bunbuku Chagama got, in fact, said item created two lvl 92 dragons.
Huh still wonder what kind of information Ainz' could have gained if he hired Arche and her team to be researchers of history instead of consuming them.
I have yet to read the web novel, but I heard that the original story deviated at this point. I think at least one of the Workers was spared, and it led to huge changes in the later story (versus the Light Novel and Anime). seynoonrae2474 talks about it later in the comments.
Hey guys I’m sure it’s been explained to you but here it is: The collar is an item that reduces a beings level by a few levels and makes it so that XP gains are higher. Ainz-sama here wanted to check if the item worked on him even though he was a level 100.
Keep going on. You're getting to the peak of Overlord (at least looking at what was animated). Also, next episode should have after credits scene :) one that will show a bit of what was happening behind the scene's.
I just wanted to say this in case someone didn't understand why Ainz laughed at 6:00. Ainzs original player name is Momonga, he changed it when he arrived in the new world when enri asked him for his name. In other words no one in the new world knows that Ainz is a fake name since that is his guilds name (Ainz Ooal Gown), which he decided to take as his new name so his friends and potential other players, should they be in the new world will know that they are not alone and have a place to possibly return to. I know despite this comment its still not properly explained, I just wanted to give a little clarification to the reason Ainz humored Hekkeran, laughed when he said his "fake" name and got mad afterwords.
the collar allows them to get better experience points, he provided them to everyone involved in training I think. The guys gift of gab failed when he said Ainz, all of Ainz's former group new him as MOMONGA.
In season 4 finale Ainz gets killed by Climb, he has a hidden ring and it boosts him to lvl 100 and he kills albedo and demiurge almost instantly. Ainz get's scared and they fight for 3 minutes before climb kills him by piercing his red orb. Sorry if you did not want spoiler
I much preferred the WN version of this. In the WN Arche lives and becomes Ainz teacher for dance and how to behave among nobility, the rest of the time she becomes Shalltears sex toy. The important part is that they bring her sisters to Nazarick and protect them. In this version with Arche dead the author confirms that the parents to keep their lifestyle sell the little sisters as slaves and they are literally big R'ed till they die from it.
not even the author liked the wn version, he only did it because of a poll. narratively speaking this version is much better, although arguably more depressing
"cover your ears" just means don't listen to what I'm saying and forget it... Of course they could hear him the whole time. Look at it this way if God told you to cover your ears what would you do?
His game name was Momonga not Ainz and the collars are for exp grinding. He was testing if he could get levels to be a better warrior, but I think it works to level the lizardmen might be wrong. It is explained in the light novel and I feel they just should have left the chain out of the anime because it is not explained at all.
It's funny for me cause vomit/bleeding from eyes and ears are early signs of magic overuse/backfire. It happens when your spell is forced back/rejected by a more powerful source. It makes sense to anyone with experience with magic but watching normies think the vomit is a result of fear is hilarious.
Guys here's some extra data of the fate of those workers:

Reduced base stats for a linking share of bonus experince gain IIRC.
but considering how much stats Ainz has it wouldn't even be noticed.

There are literally thousands of NPCs in Nazarick, so you shouldn't be surprised to see new monsters occasionally, although the anime omitted many of these for budget reasons I guess.🤔
Btw, that dragon, was created by a rather rare gacha item that Bunbuku Chagama got, in fact, said item created two lvl 92 dragons.
05:45 ... Only Ainz-sama's comrades knew him as Momonga..! Oops.
6:00 you realize that Ainz is Momon, right? ;)
Aura is a Beastmaster Class she has a lot of Pets.
this is the best episode for mee off season 3
Please remember that they are not humam, so they are not "evil", are we evil when we hunt animals? For then humans are just animals.
dont f*ck with ainz` property :)
NoIce
just a reminder: nazaric are the bad guys
