I remember when my daughter died the funeral home lady asked me how I was feeling and I told her "it's not something you get better from you just learn to live with it." It's been about a year and a half since and unfortunately those words are still true. I'm sorry my baby girl daddy loves you.

I actually read something about Irish and Irish diaspora people being more prone to depression and mental illness than other ethnic groups because of generational trauma.

I can understand why people don't cover this often, it's Makos song and he already delivered it near perfectly. No one else could live up to it. But I see this as a way of honoring his legacy rather than trying to outdo him, I know Mako would've loved this cover if he was around to see it.

That was a gem of an episode. Idk who wrote the story for that episode, but they were definitely going through some things. Even now I'm tearing up just remembering and feeling Iroh's pain. 😢
The voice actor for iron died and it was a kind of homage to him and the switch from his va to another it was the last episode with his voice rip mako iwamatsu
