Matt got a new toy🥳🥳🥳I'll leave my extra honey with them before I crush and deep combs. COMB IS GOLD!!! Take it easy Matt & Sara thank you for sharing your family time. Blessed Days...
Great starter extractor! Couple things. Did you lube the bottom basket receiver? And light metal,,, she is going to wobble like a drunken sailor, pay attention and try to balance to frames to weight, start out really really slow :) You can cross brace the legs (minor welding). Should be fun to watch.
i believe they sent you the wrong basket if you ordered a 4/8 extractor. It happened to me too. If you ordered a 4 frame extractor you got the 4 frame basket. The 4/8 frame basket allows 4 deeps and 4 radial mediums.
They do have a few! I have the 4/8. Here is a link: m.vevor.com/honey-extractor-c_10971/vevor-electric-honey-extractor-4-8-frames-honey-spinner-extractor-stainless-steel-beekeeping-extraction-honeycomb-drum-spinner-with-lid-apiary-centrifuge-equipment-with-height-adjustable-stand-p_010956728775
@mattsara2802 Have you run medium frames in it? I ask because I asked them if it was a radial, and they said no, you had to extract and then flip them over to do the other side. Confusing people. They also said it would only do 4 mediums instead of 8.
i never greased it and this year it started leak some gray oil from the bottom middle in to honey. what do you think i need to do now ? can this be cleaned from honey?
@@jmc9507 I would think the grey is metal "filings" which is really ground powder from the single bearing and cups. You need to clean it, perhaps replace the single bearing and use a food grade grease. I think what is done is done. The honey can't be cleaned, but i think it is still safe to eat. The metal is stainless steel, small in amount and non toxic. I would clean and repack the bearing, each time you clean the extractor.

It is a very good habit to use a newly purchased item after washing it thoroughly with water...
Great tip! Thanks!
Bahahaha.. blow your shirt again...
Good morning my amazing friends.. have a very blessed day
😂 same to you buddy 😃
When he was doing that, all i saw was Fabio. . LOL
@@CastleHives I can see that
🤣😂
That can take a hobbyist a long way. If one is uncapping and the other person extracting you will get a lot done quickly. Have fun with your new toy.
Thanks and thanks for the tip! I’m excited!

Thanks Mike. No I did not lube anything nor did it say too. Should I?

I will have to look into that because I can only do for deeps and eight mediums
Looks like you're not glad we got to see you again today. Also, you lied to us! Where's my drippy honey footage? Haha
Hahahahahahaha 😂 next week 😆
Matt & Sarah. What model is that? Their website is a little confusing. Thank you.

No the one I have did 8 mediums and I didn’t have to flip them and the 4 big ones I had to flip
@mattsara2802 Thanks so much.
Don't forget to grease the bottom bearing with food grade.
Thanks!
