It’s about finding the right perspective to understand. It’s like being a nerd that is interested astronomers physics trying to have a conversation on it at a sports bar filled with jocks. Some people don’t have an interest or ability to understand what you’re saying. Doesn’t mean you don’t know these things, just when you see the audience, you don’t bother bringing it up.

The thing is, everyone wants to be like the girl on this story, but putting the effort is hard, finding out you are incapable of it is scary, so it's better to treat it as a lie or as something nonsensical and/or fruitless
You live a much quieter life when you look normal...i learned that at an early age. Closest friends and family know how capable i am...everybody else makes whatever assumptions about me. Folks like to try to use people that are useful to their advantage...learned that lesson when i was younger....i dont repeat that mistake now. The best eecision ive ever made in my life.
Anon is absolutely correct. His sister is dumb. Generally, she is bored out of her mind, but retains knowledge easily. It is absolutely regardless if she uses that capability for her studies, or she uses it to gather seemingly random trivia. She passes time by absorbing knowledge. She does, however, jump at any opportunity to gain a few bucks here and there. What for? If she has some grand plan to invest it into something that will make her future stable, wouldn't she speak with her parents about it? Suppose her initial proposition fails. She would easily learn how to present ideas better, and manage to convince her parents of that. Yet, the mother has absolutely no idea about any of that, as seen in the constant praises after the trivia event. The father likely also has little idea about it. Therefore, I conclude, that she has no such plans, and the money she gains is used for frivolous things. Hard-disk full, processor empty.
She just knows a bunch of information. Not necessarily good at putting that information to use or solving problems. I used to be like her (though, not as knowledgeable nor as good at keeping a low profile). In my case, my grades went down the older I got until I realized I had to actually study to get good grades.
lmao same, eventually highschool math classes started kicking my ass so I was forced to study a lot, eventually I got to a point where even if I studied my grades were decent but not super high because the content got too difficult
I’m in highschool rn and I still almost never have to study. I think it’s because I have good teachers that do a good amount of review in class(especially in my AP classes).
Making a wide variety of information stick and being able to formulate an educated opinion based on what you know goes a long way in problem solving. And developing the logic necessary to connect the dots isn't something you learn by simply studying.
This seems super normal. Anon has warped worldviews with a self-importance shield firmly installed. Most of us out here are decently smart. Some of us are likely geniuses who realize being smart without money just gets you bought. None of us feels less alone.😅

Apparently smart enough to all that without being seen as smart for two decades, not smart enough to get a more useful higher paying degree. Confusion.
Communications is a fine degree with a lot of potential positions that use it, particularly in Government and the Corporate world. The issue with the dichotomy of ‘useful’ and ‘useless’ degrees is it causes rushes every few decades to get whatever the new high paying degree is supposed to be, which causes a surplus of graduates, which causes trouble when they start competing for the limited number of jobs in that field. Happened with Computer Science
@@TonyGModesto CS is still agreed to be useful, just oversaturated and a little precarious. Communications has always been meh.... like, top third of degrees and but it's the bottom of that third.

Unless she has photographic memories or some shit like that
I disagree, people who have an interest in height usually do so in the context of moddeling or sports such as basket or volley and may find an interest in it. For me that interest streches to other fields like celebrities such as movie actors or singers. That said, I still believe the post is fake. It all seems to unnatural. If I knew so much trivia I would love to engage in daily conversations about all of that and i feel that I wouldnt be so close minded and focused on drama 24/7 until money is on the table
It's not about making an effort to memorize it, you just read it once when you googled them and it sticks. Had the same thing happen to me with some F1 drivers.
There's lots of cool personalities out there, just sucks that everyone is pretty much forced to blend in It's exceedingly rare that I see someone doing anything different

I've already had way too many depressive episodes due to accomplishing life-changing achievements just to get my efforts belittled every single time by loved ones who couldn't empathize with me nor even pretend to be happy for 2 seconds. A congratulations was all I expected, yet I still got disappointed. Never again. Just do your best and learn to give yourself a pat on the back after every achievement.
You definitely need to find better people to talk to I'm not interested in birds, but always enjoyed hearing little facts about them from my girlfriend Maybe because I do have interest in people, but it doesn't actually make a difference since I'm not unique, so there's definitely a lot of people out there who would love to hear you talk about things you like and your achievements Give yourself the pleasure to choose, you're not stuck to the bad ones
Better to act dumb and not get singled out as a smart one. Being deemed smart makes things unnecessarily complicated and inevitably creates unwanted work for you.
Possibility 1: she hates everyone but has a few favourites, no need to be exploited for your intelligence, she just doesn't like you. 2: if she were to express her intelligence it would come off negatively, she knows that so she doesn't (as proven by that f off) because everyone wants to be accepted. 3 it's her act of rebellion towards the idiots who surround her. The best way a smart person has to punish the odiots is to not better their lives, indirectly or directly. 4 the effort of an intelligent person is only proportional to what it is rated by those who don't get it most of the time. Is she gonna explain Einstein's relativity to people who only love sitcoms? 5 showing her intelligence only reminds her of how alone she is in her insterests And on and on

And likewise not every person I've met in med school was smart just because they all tried to act like it. If anything, I'd argue that the majority of them don't fit your definition of smart because they don't have much to offer besides good memory.
@jaytheman
Understanding it is. She was able to explain her answers, which proves a certain level of comprehension. While it’s true mere fact memorisation is just part of the battle, reading comprehension is legitimately a form of intelligence, even if what your reading isn’t immediately practical.
brooo i wasnt paying attention for one fucking second and i hear "hardcore vampire erotica" TF DO YOU MEANNNN
Well why would you share your hobbies with a brother who constantly looks at you like you're a complete annoyance? I feel like anon is also not exactly blameless here
I mean it sounds mostly like, there is a difference between what you wanna do in life and who you want to spend it around, vs what your interested in. Sometimes if you make your interest/hobbies a job, you end up hating them with time. But also she seems intellectually curious, but also wants to be just a normal person and hangout with typical people.
Also lastly I think another point is, when you know you're one of the smartest in a room you can relax, but when you feel like your not you try so hard to prove yourself to everyone else, and that gets tiring, smart people tend to judge other smart people alot harder than someone they don't think is that smart
Understand anon confusion , he thought his sister was bumb but she's actually smart but now his wandering why she didn't use such Intelligence.
Intelligence is having knowledge.
Wisdom is knowing how to utilize knowledge.
Simply putting sis is smart not wise.
bro I thought it was the opposite
She's also wise because if you flaunt your expertise everyone starts offloading their sh*t on you. But she can be smart in peace.
"Sister was bumb"
You, sir, got a genuine lol from me :)
Other way around.
Erudite and smart is not the same. She is erudite at least, though
I call BS on this one.
1) erudition isn't intellect, it depends only on memory
2) at that age to have vast interests in some many completely separate fields as celebrity gossip, STEM, history, biology would just consume her every waking hour and would be very noticeable
Just another writing exercise with cartoon logic.
As a student who is preparing for one of the most competitive exams in existence , I cant get more offended than this post
*Yeah uh. I'm not agreeing with this comment. This is very psuedointerlectual*
Your understanding of intelligence is perfectly in line with what a moron thinks smart people look like. Case in point: Anon
I am struggling to believe this
It’s about finding the right perspective to understand.
Yeah, totally made up
“Not everything you see on the internet is true”-Abraham Lincoln
The most realistic part is anon being judgemental and assuming his sister doesn't have any interests.
Unrealistic, women can't think.
your comment win the internet! take my like
Lots of dumbasses in the comment parading her as their hero to justify their lack of knowledge. All stories are only real when they suit your needs huh. Didn't know greentexts attracted so much feddit.
Same. Breezed through the early grades without a gram of effort, then dropped off hard in the higher grades because I never learned how to study.
lmao same, eventually highschool math classes started kicking my ass so I was forced to study a lot, eventually I got to a point where even if I studied my grades were decent but not super high because the content got too difficult
That's most people's story my guy
I’m in highschool rn and I still almost never have to study. I think it’s because I have good teachers that do a good amount of review in class(especially in my AP classes).
Making a wide variety of information stick and being able to formulate an educated opinion based on what you know goes a long way in problem solving. And developing the logic necessary to connect the dots isn't something you learn by simply studying.
Perhaps its what makes her happy, it might not be smart but it definitely is wise.
This seems super normal. Anon has warped worldviews with a self-importance shield firmly installed.
Most of us out here are decently smart. Some of us are likely geniuses who realize being smart without money just gets you bought.
None of us feels less alone.😅
Maybe anon made up this story to tell us to be kinder to people and not assume anything?
Anyway: fake and gay.
Sounds believable from my perspective. I was in a similar headspace.
What's surprising is that it's a female doing that. Or maybe I'm the weird one idk
@@kv4648 you're so close from getting it, keep it up. Calling women "female" is the reason why you're the weird one.
You definetely sound like those nerds that can't see a girl (or anyone who isnt a nerdy white boy for that matter) with a band tshirt and say "ermmm name 24 songs from the guitarist grandma's childhood dog🤓🤓☝"
@@kv4648 you're definitely the weird one, you are in a similar headspace as Anon
She's hiding her power level
It’s simple. She is lazy and communications is the exact major you can get a C in with 0 effort to just party in college. She is also not under the pressure to get a high paying job that can support a family as a woman so she can afford to just get by on some low level job post graduation.
@@badart3204
Most people aren’t under pressure to get a high paying job regardless of gender. Most people would just rather have a high paying job because money.
Both the husband and wife have to use their incomes to support the family anyway.
@absolutezerochill2700
I suppose I wouldn’t know. It’s just that trying to tie degrees to the pay of potential jobs you could get with it is fraught, as so much of that is variable
Good for her. She has nothing to prove to you or anyone else OP.
Smart people don't go for the hardest job possible, it is like high MMR player playing in low MMR games.
99% chance of being blessed with photographic memory.
I know a guy with one. Let's just say it helps you tremendously trough life and leave it there.
Better to play the fool all that jazz, anon's sister figured that out
Fake. I can believe other things, but I refused to believe that people remembers celebrity/athelete's height for fun. Information about clubs, titles, records, historical moments I can believe, but height? That is the least interesting trivia you can memorize from a person. Unless she has photographic memories or some shit like that
That's more of a women thing, for them heights, sizes, ages, anniversaries are more important and memorable.
@@GreenHellTubeBro I can't even remember my own height
It's not about making an effort to memorize it, you just read it once when you googled them and it sticks. Had the same thing happen to me with some F1 drivers.
I mean 6'9 is a funny number so it's not crazy to remember that
There's lots of cool personalities out there, just sucks that everyone is pretty much forced to blend in
It's exceedingly rare that I see someone doing anything different
And the ones who are different are mentally insane
You are not forced to blend in. If you have high self steem, you just are who you are.
@@PneumaticFrog The ones that fit in are the insane ones
Anon learns that people have more than 2 personality traits
She’s a QUEEN
Communications major. Makes sense
To be fair, I would never share my interests with people who might not be into them.
You definitely need to find better people to talk to
I'm not interested in birds, but always enjoyed hearing little facts about them from my girlfriend
Maybe because I do have interest in people, but it doesn't actually make a difference since I'm not unique, so there's definitely a lot of people out there who would love to hear you talk about things you like and your achievements
Give yourself the pleasure to choose, you're not stuck to the bad ones
Better to act dumb and not get singled out as a smart one.
Being deemed smart makes things unnecessarily complicated and inevitably creates unwanted work for you.
Even a genius level woman is still a woman lol
The entire periodic table???
It's called she's smart and not autistic
Why not find a job which pays okay with less work if you are that smart
its called hiding your power level
Isn't the Thumbnail and the actual story too far off
Possibility 1: she hates everyone but has a few favourites, no need to be exploited for your intelligence, she just doesn't like you.
5 showing her intelligence only reminds her of how alone she is in her insterests
And on and on
Baited by thumbnail 😂
She's a fed, anon 😞
She sounds cool as fuck
Cartel videos are a little suspect. Maybe in 10 years we'll find out the sister is a serial killer.
To answer the last question...
Because it's easier that way.
Fake: anon's normie sister has valuable hobbies
Gay: anon self-inserts as a girl
So she's just a nerd
He just glosses over the cartel videos at the end?
AFRICA MENTIONED 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
Smart woman who ISN'T trying to be a girl boss? I'd love to find her.
Bro legit knows LeBron James' height but never heard of Atlas? Maybe he shouldn't be calling others normies and just admit that he's an all-around loser.
If your good at something never do it for free comms major is a fairly easy degree that will get you an ok paying job without having to do much work she could be an engineer and make a shitload more money but she would also need to put in more effort which clearly she doesn’t want to do that and she probably enjoys being the smartest person in the room
Lol i do this and for me its easier for everyone to write me off as a fool who is useless instead of being the guy with all the answers. I tried to be that guy before i played the fool and no one cared to listen to me so i just let them be and now all i say is i told you so and all i get is a FU.
Absolutely unplausible.
I mean we have tv shows like are you smarter than a 5th grader and the like. It’s not that far fetched she picked up random information surfing on the web all the time.
Porn ruined her lmao
Honestly what a dick brother the way he talks about her is so off putting
clearly she is PRO 4chan user than you
This is called the grindset bro jump on or hop off
Hey now, don't diss communications. It's coding for people.
Anon discovery that he is the normie one.
Women just like drama... also, she might be secretly wanting to join the CIA. Seems she has the potential for it.
If she watches such content then why is her tiktok algorithm braindead? Anon just wrote his ideal gf
Pics or didn’t happen.
Anon learns that some people just cant be bothered
getting intelligencemog by your normie sister who dates people daily is brutal
People watch this type of videos? As if stories in the internet are real
People tend to treat them as real because:
They’re plausible
And
Stranger things have happened.
Is that Numi Vutber?
I call b.s.
This might be kinda common. Like someone is smart, but unable to focus on what other people tell them to focus on. So if they show off intelligence, all they hear about is wasted potential, and studying normal things or being in normal conversations is actually painful.
This is so fake LOL
I though in OF page.
based sis
Well looks like a sister is one if those that genius who "im not gonna listen or learn a thing if its not interested for me or forced to do it " which a lot of people like that today
She just has a good memory. A lot of people have these kind of broad interests that are looked up on a whim, but the vast majority of it is forgotten almost instantly.
I clicked bcz seiba
Now hear me out
If anyone of you catch that girl and date her take her across the country doing those types of events
I know if I could I would
