Living with your parents is completely fine. Bc of it I'm debt-free, saved up a lot of money with my job, I'm able to see my parents more and appreciate them (also helping them out around the house) and all my stuff is here. Don't be like those people who think they 'need' to move out. Do what you feel is best.
It's only a problem if you're a deadbeat burden to your parents. Otherwise if you're paying rent or contributing in other ways and they don't mind having you there then anyone else's opinion is irrelevant. I've known and seen too many people have to move back in after a year or so because it was too expensive even in the worst neighborhoods to make it on their own or their parents had health problems that required them to come back anyway.
Yeah the thing is its actualy more intelligent to stay with your parents, cuz while you start working you get experience, and after some time with that experience you can go to even better jobs. And you can save up money for the future in the meantime.
Moving out early is either a relic of times when it was super easy to make money and get your own place, or a necessity when coliving is toxic. Pushing this notion in today's economy is anachronistic and making living unnecessarily hard.
Tbf, I'd be long-dead by now if my parents had kicked me out when I'd just turned 18. Mental health issues up the wazoo, needed close to a decade to sort my own ish out. Now that I'm getting back on my feet, housing market is still a racket run by price-fixing landlord cartels (no, seriously, look it up, stuff's freakin' wild...) And while I'm working on projects that'll eventually make me some bank, and move out on my own to a place more suited to my projects, I'm definitely gonna give back when I can, see if I can help 'em. with their mortgage. I owe 'em that much at least. That's how it should be, I think.
Seriously, it was only after World War II when millions of American soldiers returned to the U.S. that we came up with this idea that children _should_ move out when they turned 18 - and it's a rather stupid custom that wastes resources. Before that children might move out at any age if they had a reason like marriage or a job. For example, Admiral David Farragut began his career in the U.S. Navy when he was 9½. But it wasn't _expected._ Even when a child did move out, especially if it was due to them getting married, the family would often build them a house next door.
There is really something wrong if shitting in a towel and delivering it carefully to a toilet sounds simpler to you than just biting the social anxiety pill for a few minutes. Hope they get their shit together and seek psychological help for that.
" Probably would've ended it years ago if not for my family. " Cheers bro. After losing 18 years of working on my body to cancer, I feel that one. That said, the doctor that saved my life I would consider my grandpa / uncle. Love you Doctor Uncle Mister Grayson. ( Parents were old fashioned and respectful. Doctors deserve to be called doctors. Etc. I accidentally called him Mister one day. He doesn't correct me, so Mom does. Grayson gently stops her and goes " If I'm mister to my little nephew, I'm mister. Companies will send surveys all the time asking you to be honest truly they will say, but they don't want your opinion, they want to hear they are doing good and want a virtual pat on the back. If you refuse to give them that, then you may not have a job.

I once had a decades old filling machine with ZERO digital elements throw a tantrum because it was being retired. Two segments that operate in alignment and have no simple way to get out of alignment somehow ended up in reverse to each other - keep in mind that this is a MECHANICAL rotational alignment, not something that can simply reset on its own. After puzzling on it for a couple of hours, I shut off the machine to check a few things...turned it back on, and it was totally back to normal! No idea how it happened or how it "fixed", and nothing like that had ever happened before. It was a really good and reliable machine, outdated in terms of speed and flexibility but otherwise zero complaints. Heck, even when it did throw that tantrum it only wanted to be heard, but didn't drag it on so long as to keep the job from getting done.
But it wasn't _expected._
Even when a child did move out, especially if it was due to them getting married, the family would often build them a house next door.

3:40 People forget that for the vast majority of our existence, we user to not only live with our parents, but with the extended family in the same residence.
Turns out that having a lot of people help you and be around is quite nice.
Grandma helped me lose 31.5 kg's and build up my physique for the past year by living with me (though she's tried every now and then to make me stop working out, because she's afraid I'm overdoing it and doesn't want me to look 'monstrous', kek). She does most of the housework, pays pretty much all the bills, and insists on giving me pocket money (I'm 38, lol, but she's very persistent when it comes to such things), leaving me with a lot of time and money on my hands. Said benefits have translated into massive gains that have helped me immensely in getting over losing my 6.5 year fiancee last year and this year's shaping up to be one of the best.
Living with supportive family is great. Would recommend.
Honestly, the only two downsides are that we sometimes get on each other's nerves (because family) and that she's 84, meaning that I'm liable to lose her at any point and I'm not sure how I'll cope when the day inevitably arrives, but I'm very grateful for having her in my life; she's a little ol' angel.

I remember that ethics thing. The students are supposed to call out the professor because he lied and told others to lie as well. The moral of the story is that people will be as unethical as they can get away with and that we shouldn't stop calling each other out on our bullshit.
The one about saying you're at least 75 on a scale of 1-100 ethical is true.

Postscript: rather than junk the machine (it was a real legacy piece) we had the space to retire it to its own display corner as a bit of company history. Take note other machines, play your cards right and you can earn respect!

>I tell him "I won't approach a girl and ask her out. Not worth the risk of rejection, embarassment and disappointment or even worse being seen as a creep/pervert for trying so, no women is worth that."
>he agrees
>I wasn't aware but one of the girls in the group was right behind me and listening to us
>fuck.dds
why?
4:45 I don't disagree that the economy is utter garbage. But complaining about not having enough money while only working 25 hours a week is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
We should not have to work 40hrs a week who indoctrinated you dude
Grow up man. I'm not even talking about 50 or 60 hours a week. The guy is trying to live off of working like 3 days a week and acting like he doesn't have an obvious way to improve his situation lmao
@@charlesatwood9709 He can only work that many hours because if he works more than that, he loses a government benefit which costs considerably more than the take home pay of the 15 additional hours. You can complain that the gov structured the incentives that way, but working 26 hours is much worse than working 24 hours from that anon's perspective. If anon has a pre-existing health condition (even something pedestrian like asthma), there is probably no realistic number of hours he could work that would result in a better outcome than him working 25 hours at 15/hr.
